It isn't about posting perfect work. It's about posting your work. It's a way to keep track. There is only a sense of accomplishment for making at least one new thing every day. As you create, you learn.

It's fine to ask for advice or critique. Please do not offer critique unless it is requested. Please use a link for Not Safe For Work (NSFW) images.

The only rule: post only what you have done today. Not yesterday or last month. Only today.


ps- for those who are shy. Don't compete with others. Compete with yourself. Do not be discouraged by others' success. Learn from them instead, and continue forward on your own path.

For once, I didn't do

For once, I didn't do something TEF related.

Fan art. Always adored the Mass Effect universe. Been reading the books and playing the first and second games a lot.
This is just a wip piece of a turian fan-character (poor chump's been swimming around in my head for a year or so now).

The pose was referenced from a ragdoll I posed in G-mod myself. Friggin' love G-mod.

Have a dead forest.

Haven't posted here in a

Haven't posted here in a while again, shame on me. :I

Have a WIP of a new guy of mine, spent pretty much all day on this with a few hours break due to stomach cramps.
Almost lost my patience but I guess it all was worth it in the end. Got help from several references to get the pose, anatomy and muscles right but I'm sure some things still look a bit off.

Woops, have another horse WIP

Woops, have another horse WIP from me, was supposed to continue with a commission today but this guy wanted to get out before I did anything else. It's an Hanoverian stallion that I've named Cor Cordis, meaning 'Heart of the heart'(?) if I remember correctly.
Just this took all day, crazy amount of time just for the lineart.. u__u

Like many other before me have said : this is great. I already knew to get better I must practice everyday, but doing it together with the community would be really fun. This might just be the motivation I need.

I decided to start on a size

I decided to start on a size chart for all of my TEF characters, (ALL THE THINGS), and here's what I have so far; not sure if I'll finish it. I was very, very much inspired by Apeldille's work and have been using her deer size comparison chart as a reference. I actually have it layered underneath my pictures as to portray their heights effectively. It has been beyond helpful and I'd highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already.

Edit: Added a few more. I'm done for tonight, though, and I honestly should be working on other pictures anyway. ^^;

Got rid of the scar on her neck, and added spots to her to suit her species better. She's dark enough that the spots can be a bit hard to see, but still.

I dislike hermit crabs. They're gross looking, especially out of the shell. But... the way they turtle up was a perfect expression of how I felt today.

Was done quickly with no references. Probably looks nothing like a real hermit crab.

Needle felting is really fun


Needle felting is really fun and relaxing as long as you keep your fingers out of the way haha, I'll be doing this again sometime. This fellow is for a project, he's designed to have an air-pump mechanism in his belly (hence the void in the second image) that will give him the illusion of breathing/sleeping.

Bastion, a wonderful game with a wonderful soundtrack I've been listening to while drawing this fanart, still a WIP.
I can't even explain how much I love this game-design.
And trying out this new style is so refreshing.
