It isn't about posting perfect work. It's about posting your work. It's a way to keep track. There is only a sense of accomplishment for making at least one new thing every day. As you create, you learn.

It's fine to ask for advice or critique. Please do not offer critique unless it is requested. Please use a link for Not Safe For Work (NSFW) images.

The only rule: post only what you have done today. Not yesterday or last month. Only today.


ps- for those who are shy. Don't compete with others. Compete with yourself. Do not be discouraged by others' success. Learn from them instead, and continue forward on your own path.

I really like the sketchyness of this, Unplugged. I like how even if there's a lack of a complete backround, the picture still feels whole.

Butterbrot-- Haha, the title

Butterbrot-- Haha, the title on that one. Very nice dynamics! The light effect works well.
Spyrre-- I love your attention to detail, even in your messier sketches. I particularly love the horns.
Bu (again)-- Oh wow, seeing your cartoony style more three-dimensional is amazing. Particularly the metallic effect on the mask/skull Smiling
Baal-- The cross-hatch style is very impressive. It almost reminds me of medieval illustrations, given his devilish appearance.
Tuhka-- Wow, I bet that'll look really nice on a bigger format. Very interesting design definitely, with the contrasting shapes. I always love those little details you add in. Good luck with your painting!


Slept through yesterday. Not doing the arting thing all that well today either. Can't always have quality days though.

The first one's design is recycled from my old pokesona, haha.

Love that Path-themed background there, Apparanza. The colours and the noise really set the mood. I'm mostly mesmerized by the grass though... very impressionist.

Thankyou again Unplugged. ^^ You know, the vast variety of what you create has always astounded me. I love to see the things your mind makes.


A supremely quick and crappy attempt at drawing Dohr with his mouth open. But, bad as it is, it shows me where I need work. Ugh, I love him so! xD

[Feel free to critique my bad mouth anatomy, I need to work on it.]


It feels good to try and draw daily. I so love this thread and the creativity that fills it. :3
