Please join me in posting one a day. This is a challenge to encourage you to work on your craft every single day.

It isn't about posting perfect work. It's about posting your work. It's a way to keep track. There is only a sense of accomplishment for making at least one new thing every day. As you create, you learn.

It's fine to ask for advice or critique. Please do not offer critique unless it is requested. Please use a link for Not Safe For Work (NSFW) images.

The only rule: post only what you have done today. Not yesterday or last month. Only today.


ps- for those who are shy. Don't compete with others. Compete with yourself. Do not be discouraged by others' success. Learn from them instead, and continue forward on your own path.

On a general note: I really appreciate all of your comments and criticial thoughts about all these wonderful and interesting drawings here. It's always nice to see such a wide range of style. I wish I could give more constructive comments but I'm kinda bad at stuff like that. Laughing out loud

Unplugged's Ben and my Rumen. For me it's hard to draw Ben because his design seems to be boundless. So yeah... I gave him some of Rumens colours because I didn't want him to be just naked. xD

Heh, thanks Unplugged. I always do that to myself with perspective. I make some crazy attempt to draw something, then realize how badly I just messed myself up. xD

Jeez every time I look at this blog the things on it just get prettier and prettier. :3

This is actually a small test image from a comic I've finally started working on again, though I don't know if those involved are still interested. Ah, me and my bad procrastinating.

His head is supposed to be stuck in a log. Heh.

Amazegenalo-- Ooh Ooh I love the drawing you did of Rumen and my deer! Also enjoying the bold crimson on the other drawing. Don't worry about ben's "design". It's mostly about representing an emotion, or situation. Or simply a symbol. So going with the forest set is usually the best way to go. Thank you ♥
Cicadia-- That's beautiful! The square brush you chose has something very mechanical to it, combined with the greyscale and the straight edges. But it's still very loose at the same time.
sablekat-- Oh wow your pixel art is gorgeous! I love the detail you put in each of those, as well as the cartoony style.
Scythe-- Aah how adorable! The colors make it blend in with the site, heh. Sticking out tongue I enjoy your style Scythe.
Mauvable-- The bold style you used and the pastel colours remind me of children's book illustrations. Really lovely.
Baal-- Ooh I like this one. You can definitely feel the weight shift in the pose. Nice.

It's good to see so much activity! Let's see if I can manage to keep up with my comments, haha.

So this is not much but I may have just found my favourite brush settings. I'd really like to use this for something.

Not much to report today,

Not much to report today, admittedly, but here's a quick sketch of Amelia sporting her best witch please face. I still have to figure out what I'm going to do with the markings on her back, though. I may make them more like Crucio's.

Edit: And a super quick Amelia color test. I tend to do these with newer characters of mine, so that I can go back and steal the colors off of them whenever I work on more serious pictures.
