It's fine to ask for advice or critique. Please do not offer critique unless it is requested. Please use a link for Not Safe For Work (NSFW) images.

The only rule: post only what you have done today. Not yesterday or last month. Only today.

I know this is breaking the rules but I actually doodled this a few weeks ago. Thought its existence completely escaped my mind and I only just found it today. To make up for the breaking-of-the-rules though, I did Lineart it today. So I guess this could count? Lol.

Of course, it would be little. Not that big. The male one could be edited from the doe one (go see over, if you're blind ♥). The darkest parts are the shadows ones. Or something like that. Bored art... And omg, so epic fail :| I think my muse is slowly coming back. Very slowly.

First "proper" sketches I did in weeks. I don't care if they look wonky. Would have gone insane otherwise, need to draw more..

Salaawa redesign. I am never



Salaawa redesign. I am never hatcheting antlers ever again. It was horrible.
Changes made;
+ Moose skull as opposed to TEF skull
+ Stockier build. Body is more TEF deer like.
+ Horse like hooves as opposed to deer like hooves
+ Tail has been completely changed. Based off of a Dhole as opposed to a horse.
+ Blood version here. Wound doesn't look very impressive either way though. Hnph.
+ I was completely lazy with the ground shadow. I don't really care, my butt and hand were hurting so bad after those antlers.

Everyone so far has done some amazing sketches. (:



Redid "Butterfly." Oh god, yes her antlers are supposed to be black, but I am not going to hatchet those monstrosities of hers. ._______.

Technically, this is Lacie's Rut appearance, but the full design (Particularly the antlers) was based off of something I wrote last night. Ended up writing a story of an "alternate universe Lacie-esque" character who turns into this at the end of the story. Yay for cheap ways out.

Deerth - You don't need a tablet, sometimes I personally draw with my mouse and I'm sure there are others out here who do too. (: Maybe you can even try sketching on paper first, and scanning it onto the pc? Or taking a picture, either way is good. And if you want to take it further than that you could very carefully lineart over the picture with your mouse in a digital software program, eg something I use all the time which is free: Paint tool SAI

Deerth - / raises hand

I draw with a mouse. It's not too bad, though it takes some getting used to once you first start doing that. I also find that with a mouse, it's better to simply draw at a close up range (I usually initially draw at about 100%, then I go back and erase and fix at 400%). It helps keep the lines as clean as they can be.
