Realizing it might become confusing to try and follow the in progress story dealing with the love triangle of Furfur, Kita and Fran and the disappearance of our main hero, this blog has been created.

Also featured is content directly related to this story arch such as stories from friends or related artwork.

Having 2-3 authors working on one story can be a bit overwhelming without a central hub, so here it is!

If I have missed any then please give me a heads up.
This page will be prettied up with a layout later when I have the time and motivation.

Chapter 1: Dependency

-Furfur realizes that he is starting to form feelings for Kita and seeks advice from a close companion.-

-Fran is injured during a fight with a large stag and comforted by Kita-

-Kita realizes that she has grown equally fond of Furfur. She feels guilty about the thought of abandoning Fran, but realizes that Furfur has been a more reliable companion. She is not sure what to do. -

-Fran Responds to the love triangle in song.-

-Furfur faces reality and realizes he has no future with Kita. In the middle of confessing his change of heart he suddenly disappears without a trace. The only thing left behind is a mask, which is promptly stolen by a nameless deer abandoned in the pond.-

Chapter 2: Disappearance

-Kita searches for her lost friend and instead discovers an unfamiliar stag that shares Furfur's voice and scent. She is confused and contemplates attempting to fish His mask from the pond.-

-The unfamiliar stag reveals his identity and propositions Kita for a stroll through the forest. Furfur examines new surrounds and sensations.-

-Kita walks with Seshi and finds his attempts to show off to her sad. She cannot help but recognize the similarities between Seshi and her Furfur-

-Amadahy, a close friend of Furfur attempts to retrieve his mask. The attempt confirms that it indeed belongs to the friend she thought immortal. -

- Fran finishes meeting with Kita to discuss the situation. She is angry over her friend stealing the girlfriend she always thought to be too good for her. As she vents frustration by attacking the old oak a certain doctor offers to make her feel better again.-

- Seshi and Kita share a dance in the fireflies. Kita realizes that she must tell Seshi what she knows about him if she has any hope of seeing Furfur again. As she is about to confront him with the truth two familiar faces interrupt. Furfur meets a familiar face in the darkness.-

Chapter 3: Disbelief

- Kita confronts Seshi about the truth of the matter and is met with disbelief from all present. She flees the scene and attempts to find proof of what she has said in hopes that it will bring back her friend. -

- Atvana senses that the time is right and retrieves the mask from the pond. -

-Kita confronts Seshi with proof of what she says and makes a startling realization. Furfur meets an unfamiliar face with a familiar name and becomes aware of his new form. He is hopeful about the future. -

-Furfur explores his new surroundings and meets another person in a state of distress. He finds a new comfortable resting place for the night.-

Chapter 4: Disease

- Kita meets with Atvana and leaves with more questions than answers. She rests with Seshi and an old nemesis returns to reclaim Furfur's mask. Seshi squares off with the thief. -

- Seshi brawls with the mask thief and retires with his family after the battle. Kita witnesses the aftermath and tries to convince herself that the future will be better. -

- Kita is concerned about Seshi's condition. She tries to decipher whether his laziness is due to the season or the possible illness that claimed her ghostly companion's life. -

- Fran remembers back to the firs time she met Kita. She continues to feel rejected, alone, and bitter towards those who tried to replace her and the one that has seemingly succeeded. -

Chapter 5: Dissonance

- Furfur further explores the ruins and discovers a bizarre room. He finds his way to familiar surroundings but with a new face. He reunites with Kita, but he is not recognizable due to his new appearance. Furfur realizes that he must return to the ruins to get the answers from the humans in order to regain his name and pictogram. -

-Amadahy revisits the pond and wonders where her friend has disappeared to. -

- Furfur attempts to make contact with Ama. She cannot recognize him due to his nameless fawn form. -

- Kita wakes up in the morning and escorts the mysterious nameless fawn to the twin gods statues. She leaves his side thinking it must be a private act and he races back for the ruins to consult the strange beings. -

-Furfur attempts to contact Ama as the nameless fawn again. His desperate actions to connect scare her away, possibly for good.

- Furfur reunites with Dhina and is prepared for his return to the forest. En route he hears the distressed calls of a friend and rushes to the rescue. -

Chapter 6: Death

- Furfur defends his friend and seeks out his former life. He concocts a plan to draw Seshi away from Kita out of harm's way. -

- Seshi grapples with the reality of mortality and leaves his companions during the night. -

- New! Atvana waits with Seshi. -

- New! The series is concluded. -

The title means "Resolute in matter, gentle in manner".
