Anxiety flowed freely through Kita as she pulled her gaze from the gray doe's who stood back away from the family, her stance was protective, even though Finata had been reunited with his father. She shifted her weight from one hoof to the other, turning her gaze quietly toward the bull and fawn who lay against one another.

She frowned and she sighed, moving quietly around so she stood before Seshi, ears flicking with worry. She didn't know how to break it to him, how to tell him. He would believe her, wouldn't he? It would seem crazy but he had believed that Finata was his son, so he would believe this also... wouldn't he?

She remembered the way he had looked when he asked her to dance. The quiet uncertainty that had reflected deep within his eyes that looked identical to her Furfur's eyes. She shivered slightly. They were almost identical, she couldn't help but see the similarities and she wondered how she had not seen it before. She tilted her head slightly as she looked at the father and son, they would have believe her. She would make them believe her.

She ran over the lines in her head again and again and tried to reherse them as she forced her courage to the sticking place. "Seshi, listen I really do have something to tell you," she said softly, sea-green orbs watched him. Her worry showed through them and her heart raced, pounded against her chest as though it threatened to break free.

"Umm uh..." she glanced away before she looked toward him "Listen uh...damn how to start this..."

Seshi's head lifted from his fawn and he turned his gaze toward the stuttering doe who stood before him. She was confused, he was certain of that, if she wanted to say something she should just come out and say it. None of this beating around the bush.

"You aren't really who you think you are," she stumbled over the words as she finally got them out, words rushed from her in her hurry to just get them out.

"You died. You were a ghost named Furfur, you -Seshi you I mean-, you didn't exist anymore. That's why you don't remember him" she turned her head toward Finata who had also looked toward her as though she was crazy.

Seshi snorted out a laugh, staring hard at Kita "You're crazy! How could I be dead if I am laying right here before you? Impossible."

Kita shook her head and stomped a hoof, staring hard at him "I am not crazy, and don't interupt me again!" she grit her teeth, struggling to keep her composure and not run or burst out crying. Both of these options had appeal to the white doe right now.

"You really are Furfur! I can tell, you look almost identical to him. Your face isn't full of scars but I can see them there so easily. Your eyes are the same too! The same depth are in yours as in his, it's like I can see him looking out from inside you. He told me his name in life was Seshi, and he had a son named Finata and--"

She was cut off as Finata head butt her leg hard "Leave my dad alone!" he snapped as he backed away and glared at her. He obviously did not like the fact that she was trying to bring tell Seshi the truth. That she was trying to bring Furfur back to her.

She stepped back a little as Seshi stood also. She watched as he stepped forward beside his son, half stepped over top of the tiny fawn. She could feel Kalpita's eyes burning into her back, could tell the doe had bristled and was waiting to protect her creator.

"You really are crazy..." Seshi shook his head before he reached down and nuzzled Finata's head gently "I don't know who this Furfur is that you speak of, but I know that I am certainly not him. And my muzzle is not marked by scars, you must be thinking of another."

Kita gave a frustrated snort as she watched them. Pain tore through her, she wanted Furfur back. She wanted to fall against him and let out her sadness. Wanted to feel the wisps of his breath on her face and the tiniest of brushes that his semi-solid form could offer.

She wanted so many things.
The thing that scared her was that she also wanted to fall against Seshi, cry to him and let him comfort her.
But she knew no matter how close he was to Furfur, it wouldnt be the same.

"How can I make you believe me...?" she asked softly, head lowered sadly, body trembling as she bit back a sob. She couldn't believe it, she was so close to getting Him back, so close and yet millions of miles away.

She slowly turned her gaze from the ground to Seshi and Finata who stood before her, eyes pleaded. She would prove it to them, she just had to figure out how.

She would get her Furfur back.
