A continuation of Ab incunabulis (Finally... sorry this is so late T-T I was having a hard time trying to figure out what to write)

Kita turned her gaze down at the nameless fawn that had curled himself into her side. It seemed familiar, but then again all nameless appeared to be the same. She sighed softly and kept him close, eyes sliding closed as she slid into sleep. She would have to help the little one if she could, he seemed like he needed help.


She woke early in the morning having felt the bumping of the fawn as he tried to squirm out from under her head. She sighed gently and lifted her head from his back, giving a smile as he got to his feet and looked back toward her.

"Good morning" she pushed herself up, looking toward Seshi who still lay curled up. She thought of waking him before she decided against it, he seemed to be tired recently so it would be better to let him sleep.

Turning back toward the fawn she looked startled seeing he no longer stood before her. A swift look around herself revealed the fawn a few metres away, making his way determindely toward the ruins.

"Hey, wait!" she turned and bound forward, skidding to a stop before the fawn "We will see if we can find your name" she nuzzled him, recieving a loud call and nuzzle back from him

"I don't understand what you're saying." she commented back to him before watching as he stormed over to Seshi, biting at the pictogram above his head.

"No, that's Seshi's picto, that's not yours. We have to go find yours" she placed her muzzle gently against him, nudging him forward with her, walking with him toward the two statues which graced the top of the hill.

"These are the Twin Gods" she smiled back at the fawn who simply called at her, looking toward the statues. "They will help you to get a name"

Placing her muzzle softly against his side, she pushed the fawn forward, nuzzling his head as she stepped back to wait. She hoped that they would help him, give him a name so that he could speak to her.

The fawn turned and gazed at her for a long moment before he looked toward the two statues. Kita stepped back again, her gaze turned from the Gods to the fawn then back again.

"Well...perhaps it only works if you are alone..?" she muttered, and looked toward the fawn "I'll leave you for a moment, that way you can pray to them and they can bestow a name upon you too" she smiled warmly at him as he looked at her before she turned and walked back down the hill.

Furfur watched her leave before looking toward the gods. They couldn't give him a name, his name was already here, above the head of Seshi...himself...

He turned his gaze once more toward the white doe who had lay down, waiting for him to return to her

He couldn't though. He knew he needed to go back and see those strange beings, they would know how to fix this, how to give him back his name. Turning he crept down the other side of the hill, taking off through the forest.

His hooves clattered loudly as he skittered over the stones, stopping at the edge of the pit that he had climbed out of the day before. He paw the ground gently, looking back once more at the forest before slipping down into it.
