4 years ago today (would you all do another one for me?)

Thanks again for all the artworks of my dad's grey rhino. I'd like to ask for another favor from the artists on here. The same year my father passed away, my cousin Mason also passed away in August. Would you guys please do another drawing for me, but of a golden-furred rabbit?

The same sort of thing is just fine as before. Any quality artwork, a doodle or however you'd like. If you'd like to make it extra interesting, please feel free to add wings to the rabbit, or have butterflies fluttering about (or both would be great too).

I want to surprise my aunt with a collage of your artworks on Mason's anniversary. I'll be forever grateful of all of you, and I know it will make my aunt's day as well.

Thanks guys.

Four years ago today was when my father passed away from liver cancer. I still miss him to this day, and even watching old videos where he spoke brought nostalgia to me.

I know I normally have Quad in the Forest all day on this anniversary, but I just couldn't this time due to work. I plan to do a meditation walk sometime soon (I'll announce when very soon and where to meet)

I wanted to ask a favor from everyone.

Would you draw a grey rhino for me? Quality doesn't matter, a doodle is fine or however you prefer. I want to make a collage of all your drawings to share with my family. You can make it however you please.

Thank you guys. I love all of you.

Frostbitten Hearts - The Queen's War (Story, Chapter 3 finished!)

This story will be a long work of progress since I'm working a lot, but I wanted to write a new story and introduce a new character, as well as explain some of Iugulare's origins and history...

I plan to open up character slots like before, maybe soon I'll announce it. Until then, feel free to track this post Eye

Official Themesongs...because both are just so damn good XD

Also, for those who may be unfamiliar with my characters, here are the links to their biographies if you need them:

Quad - Hex - Zephyr
Iugulare, Anirapio, and Nekumbra - Noctuis

Previously... (From Fall From Grace - Rise of the Supreme Talux)

The Goxi began to speak to Quad mentally, "I can't keep abusing you. I've...I've decided I must go."

"What are you talking about? You had your chance to go back to Venterm, but after all of that, we're going to Earth..."

[=darkgrey][i]"Quad...you really made me think about why we're fighting.

Dragon Boat Festival 2014 (Pics up, image heavy!)

The festival was a lot of fun! We weren't sure if we were going to have enough people for our team, but then we were able to get plenty to race. We had a hard time on the first race (orange boat) but then did better on the second race (pink with green scales). We placed 4th in both races (out of 4 boats) but at least in the first race we ranked 34 out of 37, so at least in the first race we weren't the slowest team XD

I'm still waiting to see how we did overall. They haven't listed all the results yet but when I find out I'll put them here. For now, check out some of the awesome pics my brother took!

So Skype deleted all my contacts...

...well more like 90% of them after it decided to update today, and I tried to find that blog post with everyone's Skype name on here and couldn't find it, so...

If you have had me on there, or want to add me, it's christopher.pocase

If you contact me, let me know who you are, or just put your contact name here so I can add/re-add you.

Thanks a bunch. I don't know if this happened to anyone else but it's kind of frustrating that it even happened.

Name one thing that always makes you happy

Hey guys, thought I'd post this question and see what you come up with. Name one thing that always makes you happy. Feel free to elaborate as much as you'd like on it as well.

For me, it's feeding animals, especially wild animals. I don't know if it's just the fact that I know I'm making their lives easier by providing food for them, or knowing they're happy to have something to eat, or it may even be getting to watch them (sometimes up close) getting to eat, but it always makes me smile. I've realized I have a variety of examples of this too.

Starting from home, I love to put out seed for the songbirds. I live in Alabama and we have everything from blue jays and cardinals to mockingbirds, mourningdoves, and chickadees that come to my back yard, and getting to watch them eat is always nice. In addition, I not only have squirrels that come to eat, but I also have a hummingbird feeder set up and always watch for hummingbirds. They don't come often (has to be the right season of course), but when I get to see one, it's amazingly beautiful.

Next, getting to go somewhere and having food available for animals is always nice. Whether it's going to a local zoo and getting to feed the animals there (I've gotten to feed everything from goats and deer to bears and monkeys). There's also a park in my city where Canadian geese and seagulls come, and bringing several loaves of bread can be very rewarding because the geese will walk right up and ask for a piece. They're pretty polite when they're not nipping each other's feathers XD.

And lastly, the one I enjoy the most is getting to feed the deer in Pennsylvania.

The Disappearing Deer (Community Collaboration, artists and writers wanted!)

"This is the record of my study on the disappearing deer of Washington County in Pennsylvania. The date is December 19th, 2013.

The purpose of this study is to determine the source of what the locals call the 'disappearing deer'. I will give eyewitness accounts as well as my personal findings..."

What if something truly remarkable was happening. A forest magic that humans could not possibly understand. There are tales of this area, where deer seem to appear and disappear before their eyes. It is no use chasing after them, they vanish so quickly, their trails and hoofprints stopping with no deer in sight.

What if...the deer had camouflaged themselves so well that those who followed them walked right past?

What if the deer literally transformed themselves into trees?

I'll be writing a sort of journal entry story here, but I wanted to ask if you guys would like to join in on this idea.

Artists - draw an example of a deer transforming into a tree. They can be in mid-transformation, or be fully tree with hints of deer to them (long ear branches, wriggling tails, eyes and snouts poking out, ect). I'd prefer the scene to be snowy wilderness, with barren trees that have no leaves on them, but you're more than welcome to do an artwork of a deer with leaves on their antlers/branches. It can be a TEF deer, a real life whitetail deer, or any other cervine such as a moose, antelope, elk, and so forth. Artistic liberty is encouraged, and any form of media is fine (sketches, linearts, full color, digital work, ect)

Writers - write either a poem about the transformation process and evading a human, or a short story telling the tale of a deer transforming and becoming a tree. Feel free to be as creative as you'd like.

Any classic sci-fi book readers out there?

I'll delete this in a day or so, but I'm going to check out a used bookstore here in Pennsylvania, and was thinking about looking for some more classic Science Fiction books to add to my collection. I've become a bit of a nut over them since reading both Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein and Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card.

I did an online search for popular classics and wrote down these that I thought sounded interesting. Would any of you guys recommend any of them? I've heard of a few of them, not familiar with others. Or if there's another book you'd suggest, I'm all ears (I have a copy of Heinlein's The Door Into Summer to read as well)

Thanks for any suggestions or recommendations. I promise this blog won't be up very long, I'm going to go to the store tomorrow.

Do androids dream of electric sheep? By Philip K Dick

What day is today? It's Quad's birthday! What a day for a birthday...

"Let's all have some cake!"

XD

Historically I always thought Quad's birthday was October 15th, because I didn't know what day I registered his pictogram. But I recently found out it is actually October 23rd by checking the original registration e-mail (Durr...should have done that to begin with).

So anyway...Quad's 6 years old, but it seems like he's always been my friend and guide.

Heheh so umm...grab a mushroom cupcake in celebration. Zephyr made them Eye
