Extra information
Verve is here to offer her crafting skills to the needy! This is an interaction blog, where your deer asks for Verve's service. She can paint faces, skull masks, antlers, anything. Her other speciality is beadwork, she makes necklaces and any trinket you can think of.
Depending on the difficulty of the task, Verve may ask something in return.
Anything requested will be drawn by me, your deer can give pointers of what they'd like!
You are in no way obliged to use the designs or put them into your deer their design. You are allowed to do with these, when made for you, as you wish, no permission needed.
In case you're curious, Verve's biography is located
here.
If you have questions, ask!
Baha I didn't know if you
post an interaction of your character somehow asking for the item or what. So I went ahead and did that, I'm srroy. ;o; \D

Thank you! I would love that!

I love the interactions myself! I mostly made this blog for that, give people some rp opportunity with my Verve and get a lil craft out of it! So you didn’t do anything wrong at all! (Sorry bout the questionmark, I type in a word document first and I think it just copied a smiley wrong HAHA)
Some people don’t really feel like rping, so they just ask for it. Which is also fine!
Junalia:
Yeah I know it can be hard! What kind of skull would you like? Any colors in mind? Don’t have to be very specific if you’re unsure. I can make stuff up!
Yeah I'm not sure. Maybe
Oh I'd still like to go
I'd rather interact than just say, oh he found a thing or Verve gave it to him. It gives the object more of a meaning if you know exactly how they obtained it. <3
Edit: Oh , oh I noticed a thing. Do you mind if my character also asks..for the black squirrel-skull necklace? This of course.. won't be for me and it gave me an idea on what to post for.. well my last post. Ahha.

ChocolateTabbyCat: Checking
Checking on skulls was a task she enjoyed a lot, bringing in new beetles to help cleaning them off, finding new heads from dead deer or other animals. Deer were a pretty rare find, which was likely a good thing. But she had plenty of birds and rabbits buried as well. Sometimes she’d find her hiding spots empty. Found, of course. And other days she had to use her imposing height to scare a thief off.
Followed by a horde of jumping crickets, the doe made her way back into the birch, big tarantula’s clinging onto the red coat she wore over her back. A bag of new, unpainted skulls hanging on her side. She had become a bit elusive over time, with good reason. But she missed it, creating items for others.
She didn’t have to go far to realize someone was at her stash though. The insects showed as much. Verve frowned, stretching herself just a bit higher in the air before stepping around the tree her crafts resided into, confronting the stranger on the other side. She was an absolute giant compared to the petite stag, and her frown quickly faltered when she caught onto his expression. He didn’t look malicious, or out to steal. “I am here. Can I help you?” Maybe her tone still betrayed she had been a little bit on guard when she realized he was in her territory. Her eyes quickly glanced over to her items, perhaps silently counting. Nothing was missing. The tall doe lowered her head to get at least at some form of eye height with the buck. “Anything you’re looking for? Verve’s tone had improved majorly already, back into the friendly voice she’d use with most of her customers.
(Also, no problem! He can have that one too, it’s just been laying around.)
Junalia:
I was going to draw only a skull, but I guess I felt like drawing a face under it too. here you go, maybe it sparks some ideas? The skull is some kind of bird skull painted in the idea of the Day of the Dead mask. The face was more a peacock pelt/Magpie pelt kind of inspiration. You don’t have to use this of course! But feel free to if you like it.

The doe nodded at his explanation, checking out the herbs as he spoke. “Ha, that sounds good. I’m sure I could hang it somewhere.” Although silently she was unsure if she should attract more business now. Winter was an awful time for her way of work. She looked at the lavender especially when he said it helped with sleeping and stress. She could use that. ”Thank you, these should be of good use to me. If there’s ever anything else you need help with, be sure to visit.” She said smiling at him.
Oh it's beautiful! It's

This startled Lionel out of his own thoughts and caused the hair along his nape to stand on end. It wasn't her staggering high or appearance that startled her, nor did he have a fear of insects or anything of that short. It was the fact that he didn't notice her till the last second. And that, caused him to feel a bit ashamed on his own behalf. Not only snooping into places where he shouldn't have been he felt rude, as if he ignored her.
In an attempt to regain his composure he spun around to face her and gave a rather awkward appearing bow. A poor way of showing respect and apologizing at the same time, but he was trying to not knock anything over. Even if he was sure he wasn't around anything breakable... Lionel was known to be clumsy. " Oh, oh I do apologize for intruding. I grew a bit curious is all, thought I know that isn't an excuse for.. snooping," he uttered in a slow, wary tone," But.. well, yes. I couldn't help but notice the collection you have. Did you make these? If so they are quite lovely...talented."
As her toned warmed up he too appeared a bit more confident with his own actions. Offering a crooked smile he glanced back at the item he had been observing not too long ago.
" This an owl skull? It is rather large. A bet the specimen this belonged too was glorious, if not, his remain sure are. The decorations..added to i- pardon. I'm rambling.. With a quick shake of his head he slowly aligned himself to face both Verve and the object of interest. " But, to answer your questions. I am.. slightly interested in this item yes. Do you make them on a whim, or are they for barter..or sale? "
Junalia: Glad you like it!
Glad you like it! :)Have fun with it!

She was a little surprised, and perhaps amused at his reaction. Caught in the act really. He apologized quickly and greeted her, so that was good enough to the tall doe. “Yes, I made these. I bring various items back from my homelands, and craft items with them deer here can use.” She had a lot of items lying around, she was working on decorating capes lately. Those required a lot. And she wasn’t known for being tidy when working on projects. ”Thank you. I believe in hard work and practice myself.” Talented was a compliment too of course. Perhaps a little was born in after all, with her insect control.
Verve’s eyes followed his as he gazed down on the owl skull. “There are odd skulls to be found in this forest once in a while. I found this one together with another one a while ago, both got painted. The other one’s been given out already.” She elaborated. The doe took a few tall steps around her items, gently turning the owl skull on it’s other side for him to take a better look at it. “Barter, but I’m not very picky. Especially the masks take up a lot of space and I need to clear them out to start on new ones. I mostly ask for something in return so I don’t run out of items to craft with. Or whatever the other person would like to give. Everything is useful. So if you got anything to trade, I’m glad to give it to you.”[/b] She caught on quickly to how much he liked the item.
(Also psst, Chocolate, did you save the big version of the skull? Then I'll be deleting it as up for grabs from this blog )

Another one that knew her name, it was flattering as much as it was unsettling. Her ears perked up at the voice, perhaps looking slightly suprised. "Yes, that's correct, and I do." She answered quickly as the doe nudged a small buck forward. Oh dear. Was he hurt? Blind? She wasn't a doctor, maybe she needed to hang a little sign somewhere making that clearer. But their request seemed more up her ally. "Sorry to hear that. Anything you had in mind? Like a mask, or a cap on his head? Or something to only cover his eyes?" Just wrapping cloth around his head didn't seem like the best solution. But he was blind anyway? It felt a little odd to talk about him whilst he was there though, so the tall doe lowered her head towards him. "What would you like yourself?" She asked him in a gentle voice.
(I'll suggest these :"))
(Well, it's already some time
It was snowing only for a short time, so there was only a thin layer of snow laying on the ground. But it was enough to brithen up the whole Forest. Maybe it was far too bright, especialy for Silun's eyes, so he wandered onward with his eyes closed. Slowly. There was no reason to hurry anyway, his walks did never have any specific goal. Except the one he set to himself years ago.
Days, months, seasons or just the time generally is something all the outsiders would complain about sooner or later. And the same would go for weather. Just the simple word 'winter' is far beyond the understanding of this lonely stag, who now walks through the birch woods. He would admit it's cold though.
Arriving at the middle of a group of trees he suddenly stops. For a while he waits, as if listening to something. Or someone. Then he finally opens his eyes, but the bright light is so unpleasant it forces him to close them immediadtely. After a while Silun opens them again, much more carefully this time.
Despite whole surroundnigs were covered in snow, making all the places look so alike, the gray old stag already knew where is he standing, what sort of a place it is. And also that she is nearby. He just hasn't spotted her yet, so he decides to wait patiently.
(No worries! Take your time,
She absolutely loathed the snow. Okay, no, it was pretty sometimes. When you were sharing it with someone, no particular goal for the day. Could just sit on a hill and watch the snow descent. But she was working! What part of that did nature not understand? She had returned from hiding, back to her tree, only after the snow had stopped falling. She was wearing a red painted, flat faced skull mask, making her appear more grumpy than she really was. Using the small horns on top of the skull, the doe lifted some furs from underneath the snow at her work station, throwing the snow off of them with one smooth motion. And in the shortest time, the area was free of the white stuff. Precautions were important. Maybe she looked somewhat silly, throwing furs around, but she hadn’t even realized someone else was nearby.
When all was done, she neatly folded them back into her stash tree for next time. Now the white forest held one big snow-free spot near a tree in the birch. Good. She could continue beading without losing everything in the snow.
Suddenly her ears perk, making her head swivel around at a small creak a hoofstep caused in the snow. Her eyes stop at an elder stag, standing in the snow with his eyes closed. She couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at him. “Hello?” She asks out loud, questioning if he had noticed her or not.
(All right then) The voice
The voice he heard was rather surprising. If for nothing else, then for the nearness of the speaker. Silun thought she is much farther. But despite this, the old stag remained calm and with a few steps he turned to the right, where the doe is standing.
Seeing that snowless spot around her was a true balm for his eyes making him no problem to find her eyes hidden behind that brightly colored mask immediately. But Their sights met barely for a second.
Not only was Silun old, he was old-fashioned as well. "I greet you." he said and this simple non-commital sentence of greeting was followed by a deep gentle bow. Looking at him, how his head bent down to the very ground with the large branched antlers swinging down and back up makes a thought, that he perhaps keeps a distance when meeting others for a reason. "My name is Silun." He spoke again with a voice as cold as the forest around when both pairs of their yellow eyes met again. A simple information, nothing more. There were no other signs he would like to continue of even a hidden request for her name to be given in return. Nothing.
Silun's acting and pose evokes an image of dignity and majestic person. However, his look makes almost opposite impression: rather skinny figure with moulting pelt, soaked with melted snow that fell on him. One could even think he suffers from some kind of disease.
Her expression changed to
She felt a bit puzzled by him. He didn’t seem to act his age, or maybe he did. Maybe she was confused what his age should be. He seemed okay though, a bit scruffy at the edges. Verve tilted her head somewhat, a small shuffle on her hooves though didn’t break eye contact. “Can I help you, perhaps?” She decided to ask, a pretty standard question on her repertoire. Her eyes suddenly broke from his as she looked around the area she just freed from snow, giving the white stuff some extra kicks left and right as if finishing up the area. “Would you like a seat?” The tall doe offered, a long limb stretched towards the cleared spot.
As soon as the black doe
So it is really she, who creates all those things here. It is good she noted that, it spared him of asking some otherwise useless questions. Just looking at her makes it quite clear without any special deductive skills. Maybe he should say something about himself too. It would be polite.
Unfortunately, the given question prevented him from doing so. Standing still without any motion makes it hard to notice for observers, but he was puzzled too. He is not very used to recieve offers of help and it costed him three or four quick blinks to recover: "Can you? Perhaps I can help you with something.". Usualy it was him who offered help. Not that anyone actually needed it. Besides he didn't know about anything he could use some help with at that moment.
Breaking the eye contact brought some more relief to him too. Almost like if the very first smile slowly widened across his whole body. Silun stepped from his tense pose and walked closer to the cleared area, looking at it with curious interest. When his hooves reached the edge of the little clearance, he cast his look back at Verve. Not to seek her eyes again though. It seems he only wishes to addres his words directly to her: "An invation? I would gladly sit and rest for a little while. Thank you."
After that he nodded a little towards her, meaning that Verve should sit down first. After all, this is her place.
(Oh my god I hope you can
She noted the change in his expression quickly, and inwardly felt pretty pleased about it. Others smiling was somehow contagious. Verve looked at him curiously when he turned her offer around, perhaps he could help her? That didn’t really happen too often. ”Perhaps?” She asked in return, restraining a playful chuckle. Couldn’t help but be curious about his meaning though. There didn’t seem to be ill intent in his voice, she had gotten wary of others due to past events. She kept that in mind. No deal would be made with anyone, ever again. But help was another thing.
The tall doe couldn’t help the little chuckle that escaped her, his notion not lost to her. He was a very polite one. “Good. I cleared up this patch now, would be a shame if I were the only one making use of it.” She answered as she sat down, her long limbs folding under her body. It was a skill she had had to practice from a young age on, dealing with what could be described as stilts with knees. The times of awkwardly toppling over were pretty much behind her though, mostly.
When they had settled down, her attention turned back to Silun. ”Forgive me, I’m not so used to deer I haven’t met before coming to me for anything else but my work.” Verve apologized, a slight bow of her head added. ”What brings you here, Silun?” She hoped that was a more open question.
(I haven't even noticed that.
Watching the long-legged doe sitting down was an image worth of seeing. Of course Silun wasn't staring at her in any mannerless way. In fact, the aged stag has seen so many unique and in his opinion kind of twisted creatures in his life, that he was somehow surprised and also pleased that she actually has only four limbs. With hooves.
There was one strange things Silun did when entering the patch. Or rather what he didn't do. One would expect that it is usual reflex to shake of water droplets from one's fur but it seems that he doesn't mind being wet at all. "There is nothing wrong about snow." . he uttered before sitting down. It is questionable whether he was mentioning it for his soaked pelt or if he was commenting Verve upon her clearing the area.
There was nothing elegant on his way of sitting down, he simply flopped down to the ground and twitched for a while before he finaly got to a comfortable position. Then his eyes found the kind doe, who invited him, almost with a glance of apology for not acting properly enough and showing he pays his full attention to her again.
"What brings me here?" he repeated the question as if he was seeking for some more time to put together the answer. "Well, it might be nohing but a chance. Or maybe that the time has come for us to meet, Verve. Because the path I have chosen to follow would eventually lead me everywhere." With this being said, Silun looked at the surroundings, gazing to the far places he has already been to and searching for those that still awaits him. His yellow eyes stopped at the tree, where the crafting materials are stashed.
Turning back at the master crafter he asks:"And this place, is it where you do all your work?" For the first time, his tome of speech indicates he actually might have something to request from her.
(Bah, why do my posts keep growing? It takes me so long to write them...)

His eyes slowly followed the larger doe as she made her way to the said item of interest, turning it so he could get a better view. It, looked exactly the same. The painting as he saw before was even, but he made the mistake of showing too much interest in one item. At least as a human that would be a flaw. As one could be taken advantage of in this kind of situation if money wasn't to be used in a system of trade. He could have easily been left without any item of his own, and only that if what caught his interest. Though from how Verve spoke she seemed honest in her work and from the sound of it she has had many customers.
Yet he seemed at ease now. The tension that held his body in a ridged stance seemed to have ebbed away to a slacked posture as he relaxed. " Ah.. yes.. I assume there are many strange things in the forest.. I haven't seen as much mind you.. but I can't say that I am oblivious to the oddities here." He hummed, rocking back against his hind legs as if he better situate himself. " I do.. have a few items but they are not with me at this moment, but I can tell you where I've hidden them. I think they'd work nicely with your craft it isn't much; twine, silver coins, beads, and some odd feathers that seem to glow," he said before quickly adding, " That is if you trust me. I am a stranger after all and I could simply be telling you lies. I understand if you don't believe me. I could... also come back later with the said items."
PLK: (I wouldn’t be able to
(I wouldn’t be able to tell if it wasn’t! XD)
Her eyes turned to him when he said there was nothing wrong about snow. “Depends. If you lose your work in it because it’s so tiny, it’s somewhat bothersome.” She answered with a smile, thinking he was referring to her clearing the area. She wasn’t too fond of the cold it brought, herself not very well build against it. Her fur had stayed thin every winter in this forest so far, going to a warmer climate had made coming back into this forest and readapting hard. It would only stay that way if she kept sneaking out too.
Perhaps she looked somewhat startled when he flopped down and twitched for a moment. His apologizing glance gave opportunity back for her to smile at him. It’s alright, no biggy.
She nodded as he repeated the question. “Eventually lead you everywhere? What sort of path is that?” Sounded interesting, but she wondered if he was just being vague or if he was a traveler as well. She followed his gaze around the forest for a moment, silently wondering what he thought to find here. To her it had always been a cage, but perhaps he meant something different.
“Yes, it is, I have most of my materials here. Some of them are spread across the birch, like skulls that still need to lose the meat. I let nature and my insects take care of that. But, yes, this is where I do my work, and why I needed it clean of snow.” She glanced at the ground again, patting a hoof on the frozen over ground. “I make all sorts of crafts. Jewelry, masks, capes. But in winter working is hard for me.” Verve explained, glancing at the large hollow tree they sat besides. “Hooves aren’t the best for this kind of job, I use insects to do most of the work. But they don’t thrive very well in this weather.” Maybe she had just started rambling now. “But I can still work. Just takes longer.” She added quickly, not wanting to shed the image she couldn’t work in winter. She kept her bugs safe and relatively warm with candles she had collected during the times they were plenty in the forest.

(Don’t worry about it! XD)
The stag seemed a bit uneasy, which in turn kind of made her feel more confident. “The forest is sort of limited, yes. So I enjoy traveling outside of it to find new sources.” She always came back here though, weather she liked to or not. She tilted her head slightly when he explained he didn’t have the items with him, but she was free to follow him. The tall doe let out a chuckle at his somewhat awkward way of apologizing for being a stranger. “That’s fine, I’m happy to follow you to your items if you want. My place is fairly secure, I leave it often.” The source of that she wouldn’t reveal, but she was pretty glad she had Herla as a stepmother. “Sounds like you have some things I’d be interested in though. I’ll bring the mask along with us, then I can fit it for you as well.” Verve said as she took the mask in a large piece of fabric, making a quick package out of it to take with her. “Whenever you’re ready.”

Edit;
She saw the beauty of the things around her. Deer with crafts decorating their antlers, necklaces adorning elegant throats. She heard of the one who crafted them all; they called her Verve. With the plain, polished skull piece resting over her brow Poe knew she would have to find her. She had not much to offer in gratitude, but perhaps she'd accept a feather or two as a form of thanks. After a few inquiries and thoughtful searching she saw the outline of the painted female in the distance. Fretting that she wasn't intruding on any privacy the dainty doe started a soft trot toward her, a hopeful "Verve?" travelling from beneath the bone.
It had been a pretty simple
Of course, just as she thought that, a gentle voice made her jump slightly. She really was too easily startled. "Ah! Uh, hello?" Verve answered, her head now turning to the other doe with the skull mask. It was blank, and gave her the immediate I-need-to-paint-that shiver. "Can I help you?" The dark doe asked, giving an elegant bow to the other, her long limbs sweeping the forest floor for a moment.

Her smile brightened, the doe kicking up her front legs in a child-like burst of excitement. "Oh thank you!" She wouldn't feel plain now, and would be happy to give Verve some of her summer feathers when they grew in. In the meantime she would have to sniff out a gift worthy of giving to the crafty doe for her time. "I was thinking golden and black, with blue accents - to match me!" She didn't have her heart set on anything, but she pondered a theme. "Maybe freckles, or some space-like paint?" She always loved star gazing, so that would fit fine.
(Ah that's fine enough! I can
"Golden and black" The doe repeated, staring off into the distance as if deep in thought. The skull presented to her was one she was proud to own as well, and it would be a very fun one to paint. "Yeah, I can work with that. If you don't end up liking what I do though, it's no problem for me to repaint it. So always be honest." She had a wide smile on her face now as she explained that, pretty enthosiastic about this one though. "Honesty is the most important. But let's assume it's going to be kick ass." Gold, black, blue, all good colors. "Come back in uhm.. Let's give myself a week to finish some other projects too. But then it should definitly be done."

Oseaan blinked up at the jewels that linked her horns, and when she tilted her head she could just see the painted feathers that tickled her nape. She thought it a headdress made for a royal, the way it made her feel lovely and tall. She turned to Verve with a grin and lifted her head with a new found, quiet pride. "Oh Verve, it's beautiful. I feel all done up!" she laughed, listening to the beads tap against her horns like rain. "Thank you, this is.. just perfect."
(Sorry for taking a year or
When it finally sat on Oseaan's head, Verve got to take a look of her creation as it was complete. Perhaps she thought it a little too simple at times, and that was why she had started over countless times. Yet, in the end, that was how it should be. It didn't need flashy colors, of a big crown of feathers. That didn't really suit. "You're welcome, glad you like it!" The doe answered with a big grin. "Sorry it took a bit, but it looks nice on you."
Oh my gosh! It's perfect.
Edit: A little late |D))
--
She came back to Verve and her craft area some time later, having put the skull proudly over her face again. "It's perfect Verve, thank you so much!" She was grinning visibly from under the decorated skull, her feathers ruffled and spirit high. The new skull made her feel so prettied up, it was perfect! As a gift for the work she had found a squirrel skull and saved a few of her winter feathers for Verve, so perhaps she could make someone else happy with them as she had made her so happy with her gift.
(Ah sorry I've been all over
"You're welcome! It looks good on you, phew. Never know after all." Well, she could've guessed, but seeing things come together did put a lot more clarity on it. She inspected the squirrel skull and winter feathers, a smile forming on her face. "These are very nice, thank you. I'm sure I'll have a chance to reuse them for someone."
Stepping carefully into the
Sniffing the air she could see that there were already deer here talking quietly among themselves. One of them a sleek jet black color with a graceful lithe body, the brightly colored paints standing out against her pelt. From the descriptions given to her from other deer, this must be her.
Kyntilla couldn't help herself, she was a little awestruck by the doe's beauty at first, heart racing with unexpected adrenaline. Pulling herself together with a shake of her head and a clearing of her throat she stepped forward. "H-hey. You're Verve? The deer who makes the, necklaces and stuff?” She didn't intend to butt in as rudely as she did, but she always had the bad habit of being pushy when she was nervous. And she was always nervous about talking to strangers. Especially pretty ones.

((edit: I changed her voice color so you could see it against the background DX))
Verve was pretty happy there
Her approach seemed to startle the traders for a moment. But the golden doe seemed to focus her attention on Verve herself. The tall doe turned towards her with a smile on her face, having taken notice of her nervousness. "Yes, I think that's me." She definitly did a lot of necklaces. And stuff. For a moment she turned to the other crafters again, who excused themselves and made their leave. "We were done here anyway." She explained with a nod to the approaching doe, making a graceful bow towards her in greeting. "Can I help you?" Of course in silence she would observe the other, taking in her features and wondering what sort of colors would fit with her. Everyone was a painting canvas.

The piebald fawn scanned the area with slightly squinted eyes, honed in for something. His ears were raised in alert concentration, and his lips pursed. Quite determined, Cian continued along his path, winding around trees and occasionally skipping a few steps. The boy sniffed in the air. Suddenly, the fawn was no longer a fawn, but a large beast searching for its prey. It slunk along, belly brushing against the grass. It giggled, for the monster seemed to be ticklish. Teeth still stained from its last meal, a long, pointed tongue swept across the fangs.
The beast dug its claws into the soil as it spotted what it had been searching for. It would be difficult to sneak up because of the creature's gigantic size, but luckily it was able to get close enough without its prey noticing. Inching towards the doe, the beast moved stealthily. Closer...closer...
"Rhaaa!" The beast shot out, when suddenly it felt something pull it down. Cian crashed into the ground just about a foot from the doe, his hind leg tripping over the other. He glanced up sheepishly at Verve, flashing a boyish smile. "You gotta be more careful...I almost got ya that time."
(No worries! Sorry I didn't
Upon long stilts the doe stood in the birch grasses, her ears perked up slightly and on her face a frown. She was looking out for someone. Whoever. Maybe one of her sisters was alone and needed a babysitter. Maybe a smelly, black fawn was causing mischief upon others. Or a lumbering giant hadn’t appeared in what was too long for her liking.
But suddenly, behind her a small crash was heard. Her ears swiveled first before the head on the long neck did, followed by the rest of her body. Verve looked a little surprised at this newcomer, then she gasped. “What! You did? I’ve been lucky then, really should pay more attention to my surroundings. You weren’t going to bite me, were you? That roar was pretty ferocious, you see. If I hadn’t seen you now I would’ve thought a predator was trying to get me. But you look alright.” She lowered her head to be more on-level with the child, eying his monochrome markings and the blue circle around his eyes.
“I suppose you’re not going to eat me.” She concluded as she lifted her head again, multiple tiny bird skulls dangling from her antlers. “Anything I can help you with? Name’s Verve.” The tall doe smiled.
Cian's grin widened as the
Cian stopped examining the doe and lifted himself onto his hooves, shaking the dirt from his pelt. The fur stuck up this way and that, and the once white parts were stained a brown-ish hue from the rough play. "I like yer colors. Yer very pretty...how'd you do that?"
She chuckled lightly when he
The tree seemed pretty crammed. sacks of beads and pouches with colored powder, wooden masks, painted skulls and unpainted ones alike. Bones, feathers, coins, little wooden figures. She didn't seem to lack materials.
The fawn listened intently,
"Well, I got this thing I hid...it's like...um... The little stag squinted, searching for the words to describe the object's appearance. "It's a rock on a piece of somethin'...string like the ones in yer antlers. The rock is purple an' soft. Purple like night, I think. An' it's surrounded by a bunch of little, tiny fire red rocks. I can show ya, if ya want."
At his doubtful expression
"A purple rock? Sounds interesting, definitly. If you want to show it, go ahead!" Why not?
Cian seemed much less worried
