Extra information
Verve is here to offer her crafting skills to the needy! This is an interaction blog, where your deer asks for Verve's service. She can paint faces, skull masks, antlers, anything. Her other speciality is beadwork, she makes necklaces and any trinket you can think of.
Depending on the difficulty of the task, Verve may ask something in return.
Anything requested will be drawn by me, your deer can give pointers of what they'd like!
You are in no way obliged to use the designs or put them into your deer their design. You are allowed to do with these, when made for you, as you wish, no permission needed.
In case you're curious, Verve's biography is located
here.
If you have questions, ask!
Kasmir: Verve watched the
Verve watched the other doe curiously. She seemed to have her eyes set on her, so Verve walked forwards to meet the argus doe in the middle. She seemed to have quite the trouble going on.. ”They say so.” Verve could not hide the worry in her expression, as gentle as it was. ”Can I help you with anything perhaps?” As long as she didn’t need medicines.. But she said gifts so it was okay. The tall doe did sometimes wish she was capable of medicine. But that just wasn’t her area. She’d likely be too afraid of screwing things up too. A trinket could always be remade.
He tilted his head at her
"They do? Heh, I'm afraid I cannot count myself among, them, then... Although what do they come to you for?" He asked with great interest, the dark doe seeming more and more intriguing to him as the conversation went on. He had yet to meet a deer in the forest who actually offered their talents to other deer, although he had yet to meet more than a handful at best, which probably spoke oceans about his ability to socialize.
Kasi sat, resting for a
She swallowed, thinking about what to say next. "I, uh.. I wanted to ask if you could make a few little trinkets for my family." She said, wondering if the doe would want her to elaborate.
"You see, I'm in pretty bad shape, and in case I don't make it, I want them to have something to remember me." The thought of leaving her family was hard. She carefully pulled one of the feathers from behind her ear. "Could you possibly make this into something for my son, Enthbril? I also wanted to ask if you could make something for my mother, father, and mate, too. I-if that'd be okay." Maybe that would be too much to ask.
Amunet trotted slowly forward
"Hello Verve~"
The doe gave a little chirp her normally hallow voice sounding a bit happier than before, she was excited.
CW: Well that was certainly
Well that was certainly new. But she could appreciate it. ”Well, they come for my crafting.” She bowed her head slightly, the little bird skulls hanging from her antlers moving in the wind. She was wearing her large cape tonight, the temperature in the forest had dropped quite a bit too since her return. She found comfort in the large fabric draped over her back. ”I make all sorts of things. Necklaces, wards, earrings, uh.. Masks. Many other things too.” It was actually not easy to make a complete list.. ”So what is it you do in this forest? And how come you’re up so late?” She grinned, perhaps curious as to why she wasn’t the only one awake. She had never met the stag before but so far he seemed kind.
Kasmir:
Her worry grew further as she listened to the doe. That was a heavy story. Verve looked away for a moment, thinking of what to reply. She had quite the list.. And Verve’s main concern was how much time she had. Her attention went to the feather as it was offerend. “Of course..” She said, accepting it and stashing it in her little woven basket. “What about the gifts for your parents and mate? I mean, if it’s to remember you then I think it’d be an idea if you could suggest me things that would remind them of you..” She couldn’t just go ahead and make stuff up. That could end up unfitting, she didn’t know Kasmir after all.
Heartless7:
Ah there the white doe was! Verve had been preparing her paints carefully, two shades of blue in the oh-so-handy basket she got from Herla. ”Hello Amunet! Are you ready?” Verve was, at least, so were her spiders. ”I’ve got to ask you to be really still. We’ll start with your body so that can dry a little first, your face will be last. I think I got a design that will fit you.” She had thought about it quite well, having drawn out some of her ideas in the sand.
When Amunet was ready, Verve gently started her work. Most of the big drawings were simply done by hoof. Smaller drawings, more precise work, were done by a spider Verve had painted on. It worked like a living paintbrush. All her paints were natural, she only had to wash the spider gently. And make sure not to cover it’s abdomen, or it’d suffocate.
It took her quite a while, and quite an itchy spider to finally finish the work. “There you go.” She stepped back to admire her own work for a second. ”Not bad. When you wash yourself, make sure to not directly stand under the crying idol tears, but in the stream. Then the water’s more gentle on the paint.” It’d fade off in time, of course.
As the various items adorning
"You crafted all of this?... That is truly impressive! I never knew deer could create such magnifique works of art!..." he said, his accent becoming a little more pronounced and a single foreign word slipping into his speech. Her question tore him away from his adoration of her craftsmanship, though, and he blinked, ears turning slightly as his focus was shifted.
"Oh, I am largely nocturnal. The sun hurts m... my eyes." He said, though there was hesitance in his voice, as if there was something he did not want to say.
He didn't dare revealing the nature of his species to Verve. He was much too afraid of scaring her away, as it had done so many before her. Although they had been humans and the deer in this forest all seemed very friendly and welcoming...
Still, he took no chances and had only ever revealed his secret to one person since coming to the forest.
She was glad Verve would be
And Willis.. "For.. for my mate. Something about the stars. Yeah, yeah. That would remind him." She smiled at the ground. "I'm so happy you can do this for me. I've seen some of the things you've made before around. They're so gorgeous, and you're very nice for doing this." Kasi beamed at Verve, extremely thankful for what she was doing for her. "I would be glad to do something in return, if you'd like. I don't have very many skills, but I could perhaps fetch you something?" Even though she was pregnant, it wasn't going to stop her from repaying her.
CW: She bowed her head
She bowed her head slightly, her usual shyness overcoming her yet again. She was often complimented for her work but it would likely never stop suprising her. "Thank you, I get some help though.." She said as she stared down at her hooves for a moment. "A deer can only do so much." She had always been envious of hands. Though she seemed to manage fine without.
She tilted her head slightly at his change of expression. He didn't seem too happy. "Oh? That must be quite annoying.." The crafter she was, her immediate wonder was how one would be able to shield their eyes. She herself loved the sun, having spend a great deal of her life in Africa certainly played part in that. Having to miss out sounded horrible to her. "I could try and make something to shield your eyes from the sun.. But I guess it isn't that easy huh?" She smiled, perhaps with a hint of pity. He didn't seem too comfortable talking about it.
Kasmir:
The tall doe listened quietly as the other spoke, making mental notes of the things she said. It was going to be tricky. "I will do my best." She smiled reassuringly. When the other mentioned repayment, she seemed to shake her head quickly. "Oh nonono it's okay! Please take your rest, I'd rather make these things from you and see you healthy than seeing you exhaust yourself to repay me. No please, spend time with your family if you're that worried, or see a healer perhaps? There are deer who know a lot about medicine you know." She was still worried. Never had she had such a request before. In a way, she rather heard she'd prepare for healing than prepare to die. Verve glanced at the does belly. Was that the reason she was sick? "I know of someone who could perhaps try to help? I know she's very trained in medicine, what about you talk to her as payment for me?"
Though he directed his
"You would do such a thing?... That... That would be splendid!" He said with true gratitude. Though the sun burned more than just his eyes, they were always the first to get sore during the day. If he had something to shield his eyes, maybe he could actually see properly on those rare occasions when the forest beckoned him awake before dark.
He gave a soft chuckle and cocked hi head slightly.
"It is by far not as easy... But any relief for my eyes is a welcome gift!" he sighed, looking out onto the pond with its still waters and serenely reflected moonlight.
Ah she loved to make others
His ears perked up at this
"Oh, I do hope it's not too much trouble... But as for the things I like... I'm quite fond of beads and who could resist the look of clean bone?" He offered a small chuckle, that ivory glint from his mouth ghosting into view shortly again.
"And as for colours... I do so like blue and dark tones... White as well, as a matter of fact. Really, anything but red..." He said, a slight tremble in his voice at that last word, which he quickly shook off. He smiled at her, eyes wandering to the impressive accessories yet again.
"Although I'm sure anything you come up with will be spectacular!"
Oh Misako, they're gorgeous!
CW: She nodded as he spoke,
She nodded as he spoke, thinking as he went along. This was going to be a challenge, but she did like those. "Alright, I think I can work with that. Glad I asked though." She grinned. "Hadn't I I would've likely used red, that's my favourite color actually." She had never been able to explain why exactly. But red, black and white was her favourite combination. She could not skip red at her facepaintings. She followed his eyes for a moment when he looked at her trinkets. "I hope so, so far noone has complained yet." Now that'd be something.. She was pretty relieved noone had! "I've never made anything to shield someone's eyes yet, but I'm sure I'll be able to come up with something." Otherwise it'd be a weird promise to make. The doe turned her head away to let out a yawn, perhaps more tired than she was really saying.
Cyda:
Haha glad you like them, you're welcome ^^
He tilted his head slightly
"Oh dear, you seem tired, I hope I didn't wake you up!..." He said with a worried tone, a soft frown on his face as he sniffed her, the gesture common for any deer... Although his motivation for doing so was slightly different... And it was one he was desperately trying to shake off.
He had to control it. He was stronger than this, he knew it. He could repress it like he'd done several times before. He was determined to not lose himself tonight or any other night ever again.
So to distract himself, he spoke instead.
"I do so hope it's not too much trouble, though, this entire thing... I'd hate to be a bother to you!..." He said, sincere as they come.
At the touch, the hair on
The doe watched him sniff curiously for a moment. She was almost going to ask him if something was wrong, but decided against it. "Oh no it's not a bother at all. Otherwise I wouldn't suggest it, right? I like to make things for others. I found a lot of new items to work with on my trip, so that'll be fun to work with." Oh she had found a lot of weird things she wasn't sure about..
As she flinched back, Esclave
"Oh, pardonnez-moi!" He blurted out almost simultaneously with Verve. Although as she spoke, he smiled.
"Oh, a trip? That sounds exciting! Where did you go? I've personally never travelled before, what's it like?" He asked excitedly, the new conversational topic thankfully banishing the gnawing hunger in his stomach.
"Oh it's okay, I should
She nodded. "Yes, I went on a trip with two friends of mine. And a long time ago I went on a trip by myself." She loved to travel, it kind of ran in her blood. Very one-sided though, her father wasn't too much a fan of the idea. "It's really lovely. There's a lot of freedom, a lot of things to see you don't get to encounter in this forest." She looked around them for a moment. "Here you run in circles. Outside you can keep running until you're lost, and then you'll still see new things. It's more endless than this place, I feel." She always felt locked up in the forest she was born in.
"I lived with humans for a long time. They taught me these crafts. They have hands though, which makes it easier to craft.. I have my own method though." She smiled brightly.
"It's quite alright, deer
His ear perked up again as she spoke of her travels, though, and that curious and wonderous glint returned to his eyes.
"Yes, I have noticed that too... Sometimes you can run for hours in a straight line and pass the same place several times..." The forest always confused him thus...
As she mentioned humans, another shade of wonder glid across his face. "Humans? Really?..." He said with a smile, though he was hesitant whether he should tell her he used to be one too and could freely change into a humanoid at will... He was never one to flaunt abilities, his previous masters had thoroughly beaten that out of him.
"It's not your fault, touch
She nodded at his deduction. "You go in circles here, I guess that's why they call it endless. Pretty creepy."
She couldn't help but notice his expression. "Yes, humans, I lived with them for quite some time. I've heard there are different types of humans though. My father got hurt by one, but he IS sort of scary looking. I don't get to hear a lot of positive stories about them, but I personally really enjoyed my time with them. And I'd love to have hands." She chuckled. That jealousy wasn't going to fade anytime soon.
He gave a soft, avoidant
"Who knows, life is strange like that sometimes..." As she talked about humans, he smiled. He personally had mixed experiences with them, although the only ones he could remember were his masters who had kept him imprisoned through generations. Not very happy memories. But, being the relentless optimist he was, he believed in the good in all beings.
"They do all have different personalities, after all... There really is no telling what a person is like before you meet them..." He sighed, briefly remembering that one of his masters who had been kind to him... And had paid a horrible price for it. He determinedly chose to focus on the good memories, though, making him smile... And chuckle slightly at her last remark.
"Hands do come in handy most times! Heh..." -he decided there was no beating around the bush. A shapeshifter was not uncommon in this forest of changes, after all. "I'd be at a loss at how to draw without them, quite frankly..." He gave a small chuckle. "I doubt I'd be able to control a pencil with my mouth, after all!..." He found himself holding back a breath - this was a big risk for him, he did not wish to instil needless jealousy in the charming doe. He'd do anything to keep a new friend...
"Same goes for every
Esclave let out a relieved
"Heh, I don't know if you can learn it, I was..." He hesitated for a moment, "-born with it, I suppose you could say... but this place is full of magnificent beings, there might be some who can bestow the power on you!" He wanted to help her so very badly, although he highly doubted turning her into a vampire would do the trick. He had been human before, after all, not a deer. Plus he did not want this curse on her...
He smiled brightly as she asked about his drawings, though, but his smile was not the only bright thing... He gained a small, most becoming blush under the short fur on his cheeks.
"Oh, my drawings are nothing special... Just vague memories recreated and, eh... Natural motives... I used to live in a place isolated from the outside world, so I drew nature to remind me of it..." He bit his lower lip slightly nervously.
"I could change and show you some? I always carry my sketchpad on me..." He was always a little bashful about changing in front of people. Probably a remnant of his need to hide his species.
"Oh you were.." She seemed
She listened to him quietly as he spoke of his drawings. "I wouldn't mind seeing them. If you'd like to show of course! I don't want to pry." Verve smiled as friendly as she could. [b]"You'd have to turn into a human then I guess? I've seen that happen once before." Sketchpad was another word she didn't recognise..
The dreamcatchers are perfect
He smiled in a melancholy
"A wise choice... It would seem nothing comes for free in this world. Heh, my sensitive eyesight is one such consequence..." He said, although he was getting dangerously close to exposing himself in his own mind. He made an agreement with himself to not reveal anything more, just to be safe...
He smiled brightly at her observation, though, and got rather a lot calmed down when she mentioned having seen it before.
"You have? Tres bon! In that case at least it will be nothing shocking." He said with a smile, fur bristling and already heralding the change.
"Bien... This will only take a moment..."
His change was gradual, quit and graceful, almost like seeing a butterfly emerge from its chrysalis, though lacking the latter, perhaps except a few tufts of fur that casually fell to the ground, glittering in the moonlight.
It really did only take a moment before his human self sat next to her, fully clothed in a shirt, vest and (strangely) iron collar, red eyes now looking that much more predatory and unnerving... One of the reasons why he did not often change while in the forest. Although to a deer used to humans it was hardly anything upsetting.
He blushed gently and gave a small, nervous chuckle. He felt insecure and a little foolish, though he hoped Verve would not judge him.
He smiled gently and dug into a pocket on the inside of his vest, pulling out a small book-like object, his sketchpad, as well as a charcoal pencil.
"You're right, I would be
He kept using those strange words. She kind of had to smile at them, they sounded funny. It seemed he was used to a different language, that didn't suprise her too much.
Verve watched curiously as he changed. It looked odd to say the least.. She wondered if it'd hurt, but he didn't seem to give a flinch. She curiously sniffed his vest when his transformation was over. "Interesting gear." She said, retreating her head again to look at him. "That didn't look painful at all, doesn't it hurt?" The doe tilted her head. This transformation had gone differently from her friends. She wondered why that was. Quickly though she was distracted by what he took out of his pockets. "Is that a pencil?" She nodded at his charcoal pencil. "I would never be able to hold that with my hooves." She seemed amused, sniffing it as well. It did smell familair. "So you draw with these things right?"
Smiling as she spoke, Esclave
"No, it was painful the first couple of times, but the body gets used to it eventually once you find out how to perfect the technique." He said with a small smile, holding out the pencil so she could see and sniff it, enchanted by her honest curiosity. He nodded happily at her question. "Indeed! I have a few others in different colours, but the blue one is all but used up..." He sighed, peeking into his pocket at the sad, little stump which had been used so many, many times. "It's a pity, although I suppose that's what comes of drawing so many skies..." He chuckled, leafing through the tiny booklet, holding it out so Verve could see. He seemed a little bashful about his work, he was probably not used to showing it to people. Among them were a blue moth flying towards the moon and various sketches of a fair, young man with tiny, little silver horns on his forehead. And skies. So many, many skies, all with various displays of clouds, the canopy of trees and a brilliant sun. It was obviously something he missed...
"It is?" She couldn't help
Looking a little surprised at
"Oh, uh, of course, I don't see why not! It's too small for me to draw with anyway." He smiled, handing it to her and taking care not to touch her as he did. He was nothing if not respectful of other people's limits.
As she asked about and complimented his drawings, the pale blush on his cheeks only grew; it was pretty much a first for him. His current master had done so too, but he was the only one aside from Verve and it was still an overwhelming feeling to him.
He chuckled shyly as she asked about the moth. "I'm afraid not... I drew this many years ago from memory of the outside world and I suppose I just mixed up different moths I'd seen and my own imagination... I didn't have much reference to work with..." He said embarrassedly, though it was nothing compared to his reaction when asked about the young man. His blush grew and he gave a nervous chuckle.
"Th-thank you!... That's... my new master, Heika..." He said quietly, his eyes going soft and warm as he looked down at the drawings. He obviously harboured strong feelings for this being, and it made him fidgety and nervous to talk about.
She collected the pencil
"It is a very pretty moth though.. Doesn't really matter if it's real or not. I would've loved to have one like it." She grinned again. She liked collecting different bugs, mainly kept them alive but she had dried specimen. They were just rather difficult to preserve.
"Your master?" The doe looked at him curiously. Master? That didn't sound like fun. Or was it a different word for lover, or partner? She was pretty sure it wasn't, but by his expression.. "Well, I hope he takes good care of you. You seem alright though so I guess he does?" She smiled, maybe the slightest hint of worry visible.
The doe shifted in her position for a moment, stretching out her long neck. A subtile 'knack' was audiable. "Argk." She laughed. "Sorry. Looked into one direction for too long." Haha, awkward. She turned her attention back to the book. "It's really interesting, you're making an image that lasts forever. The place you drew can change but it'll stay the same as you drew it in your book." It seemed a little magical to her.
"Yes, master... I am employed
At her insights, he smiled.
"That's an interesting observation!... I do suppose you're right... Although it also drives me to always draw new ones, as the old ones will never change..." He sighed as he smiled at a bright, blue charcoal sky that had kept him company through so many years. He only rarely got to draw while under the rule of his old masters, as they were very fond of tying his hands up, but whenever they forgot, he would dig out his booklet and draw... And when he had run out of charcoal, he would etch drawings into the floor and walls... This practice had left the outer most joint of his right index finger completely devoid of flesh, although this was hardly noticeable in the darkness. He often forgot about it, as it had stopped hurting so many years ago.
"That's good to hear." She
"Ah it's just that I need to move it more often. I just returned from a really cold region, perhaps I am a little bit tense. Or sensitive to the change in temperature." She was likely going to be catching a cold sooner or later. But she'd better try to not sneeze when Herla was around, or she'd be covered in medicine.
Verve nodded again. "Makes sense. What will you do when all your pencils are out?" She looked at him curiously. "I don't think you can get new ones in this forest.." That would be a shame, if he ran out. But the stumps made for nice decoration purposes in her eyes. "Can you travel to a world where they have the pencils?" Such a world sounded interesting.
"Oh dear, I hope you don't
He smiled as the subject fell on his pencils.
"Yes, I can travel outside the forest to retrieve new ones... Usually in my master's manor, although I do so hate to be a bother to him, so I try to use them sensibly..." He said, looking down at a particular picture which had remained unfinished due to a small but explicit mistake. He had not redrawn the part or drawn over it, simply let it be, which in and of itself created an interesting effect and a look into the creative process...
This works is really
Seed was, in approaching the
Of course, he was not really designed by nature to approach a straner with a poem...But here he was, the poem written on a bark sheet carried in his mouth. As he approached, he cleared his throat.
"Excuse me...You're Verve, right?"
The sun had made it's first
An admirer and collector of beautiful things, the doe had seen Verve's creations around the forest, she'd followed and badgered others, questioning them upon where they had recieved their creations from, and every time she'd been given the same name in response.
After a while of quiet watching, the swan had eventually approached the very tall female, not intimidated by her height, but impressed. "Hello."She'd greeted, polite. "Verve, yes?"
ChickenWhite: The doe nodded,
The doe nodded, glad he would atleast be able to get new ones. She found it quite a unique thing, the small drawings on the white sheet of paper.
"I always think I'm a bother to everyone too, but they always say I'm not. Perhaps you're not a bother to him, and you're just thinking you are." She tried to reassure. A lot of her fear of touch came from this; she didn't want to be a bother. When anyone laid close so they would touch her, she'd fear her moving would annoy them. Her breathing would annoy them.
She seemed to eye the drawing he stopped at curiously. She didn't so much see the mistake, only the artists do that. "Something about this one?" She looked at Esclave curiously as why he was staring at it like that.
Linorra:
Haha thank you ^^ I do my best!
Seed:
Always busy on something, it took a little while before the tall doe looked up from her work and noticed the stag approach. She tilted her head. "Hello." Verve smiled. "I am yes, can I help you?" The question was almost automatically. She looked at the bark he had in his mouth, and her expression went back to curiousity. Why did he have a piece of bark like that? He didn't seem to treat it like the object it looked to be. But she would not pry, simply looked at him with an unfaltering curiousity.
Vauss:
The days had been getting colder, the tall but thin-furred doe was constantly covered by a cloak made of various patterned fabrics. She looked like an oddball, but that seemed to bother her the least.
Her head turned away from the tree she was inspecting and towards the sound of small hoofbeats she heared. "Hello." Verve turned towards the other doe at the greeting, lowering her head immediatly as to seem less intimidating. "That'd be me." The doe smiled as friendly as she could. "Is there something I can help you with?" The smaller, white doe looked pretty interesting, not like any deer she had seen before.
Seed tried to figure out how
"While I don't have a request, I do know of your work and admire it...And thought to write this, in admiration of your art."
He was always slightly nervous when giving people a poem; it was something experience could not alter, because each poem was different, and each reciever was different. Still, now that it was said, he stood his ground, regardless of how strange it might look.
"You're beautiful." Were the
Seed: Her head followed the
Her head followed the motion of the falling bark, looking at it as it landed in front of her feet. At the stag’s words, she looked up again. Write? ”You wrote something for me?” She sounded surprised. Shocked, almost. The doe settled down in front of the bark, pulling it towards her with her long front legs as she sat down. She began to read.
Telling from the movement of her eyes, she didn’t just read it once. No, the doe seemed to read over the poem several times. She didn’t utter a word but her expression betrayed enough. She was in awe. ”No one has ever written anything for me before.” She finally spoke, still looking at the text.
The doe seemed to struggle with words as she finally looked back up to Seed. The doe got up, she kept a humble pose even though her legs made her look extremely tall. ”I really don’t know how to thank you, or how I deserve this..” If he’d look closely, he’d be able to see she her eyes getting watery. ”Thank you, sir. This really means a lot to me. And I simply have to return the favor in a way.” Her attention went back to the poem, lowering her long neck to look at it again. ”I simply have to ask.. How did you write this down? Did you carve it in, sir?” Her head lifted up again, but her attention kept to the bark. And for good reason. From the bushes, with long leaps a big group of locusts arrived. The tiny hooks on their feet locked onto the bark. ”Sorry, this can be loud.” She apologized in Seed’s direction, but never losing focus on the poem. The locusts started flapping their wings excessively fast, lifting up the bark and landing it on the tall doe’s back. Here she seemed to loose concentration, and the locusts either jumped away calmly or sat on her back. Some chirped. Her head turned to Seed. ”Can I ask you your name sir?” Verve looked happy, very much so. The grin would not leave her face.
Vauss:
For a moment, she blinked in confusion ”Me? Beautiful?” She sounded surprised, and not in the fake way. Her surprised expression slowly melted into a friendly smile. ”I think you’re beautiful too.” She had to admit that. The doe was a little puzzled about the others expression towards her. Verve seemed to realize she must look intimidating to a small form like the others, and she gently sat herself down to reduce her size immensely. ”Thanks. And I surely can.” She seemed to glow a little, grateful to such a positive response her designs had gotten. ”Any type of feather you like? Color? Sort of item?” The doe tilted her head. The swan queen didn’t have to answer them, but they’d help steer Verve into a direction for starters. ”And well, since you know my name, can I know yours?” The tall doe was always a little surprised when it turned out others knew her before she knew them. She wasn’t the most social butterfly, so that she didn’t know everyone’s names wasn’t that much of a surprise. But that everyone knew –hers-. It was a compliment though, she knew that.
tracklack
Seed waited while she read.
"Yes, I carve it...It's the best mix I can find of portable, relatively quick, and durable, so it's the best option for delivering gifts...." The display with the locusts made him smile -- it was about what he was picturing at the final lines, just with a different insect. It made him feel vindicated and... Wait. She was asking his name? A little bit of worry sprang up. He had totally forgotten to introduce himself... Well, he supposed that he had done well enough, anyway.
"Oh. Yes. Right. I'm Seed."
Seed: "Hm." She looked
"Hm." She looked thoughtful. "Alright Seed. Thank you so much again!" Her yellow eyes seemed to shine, extremely pleased as she gave Seed a bow. "But this won't do. I will think of what I can make for you. To show my thanks!" And she had an idea, of course. She was full of them. Something practical perhaps.. The doe grinned. "I hope you don't mind of course. But I like to make things for others. And you have a very special talent, I think I'd like to make something for you to make it easier." She wasn't sure if her idea would work, of course. But it was worth a try.
She was pleased when Verve
"There's no -- well, there
After all, he still had his lightbringer badge somewhere. Seed generally didn't go much for possessions, but he did have his little hidey-hole...Anyway, he'd need to hunt the stuff down. Or he could let her see what occured as a fun and practical idea -- an inspired piece of art for an inspired piece of art.
"Make it easier? And what would that be, do you think?"
Vauss: The doe nodded as she
The doe nodded as she listened to the small white doe. She kept trying to keep her pose as small as possible, but it only seemed to make Lovelace shrink too. ”Alright, I can do that. Well, I guess I’ll need those feathers..” Verve smiled. ”Oh! And a little description of how your friend looks. Like color and gender. Otherwise I might end up making something that doesn’t fit them.” That was always important to Verve, that it fit and matched.
(I’d like the name of the character of course so I can look them up ♥)
Seed:
She tilted her head when he mentioned there might be something. It seemed to cause a bit of curiosity, of course. ”Well, I had intended it to be a surprise of course like your gift had been.. But something to help with your writing.” Was the best description she could give without betraying anything. ”But I’d like to hear what you had in mind.” She would never exclude any ideas. And well, if she liked his she’d just make two things for him. Why not.
"Oh, well, I shouldn't pry
"I have a little ball of light I wear sometimes for formal occaisons -- it's a group thing. I was thinking of maybe something with that... But, as a whole, I think I'd rather see what inspires you the most; it's not as if I don't intend to come back at some point," He added.
((I was kind of holding off requesting anything he'd wear, since I have a redesign for him coming down the pipe. But if you'd like to work with that in advance, I could probably show you the images for that there.))

And his apron didn’t seem to be a very warm type of thing.. So why wear it? She wouldn’t say a thing though, she looked like quite an oddball herself. Paint over her face and body, feathers that didn’t belong on her head. And of course, a large cape over her back to keep her from getting cold with the lower temperatures.
”Hello, I’d be Verve yes.” The doe smiled in a friendly manner, even if she wasn’t quite used to being called miss yet.. It seemed to happen more often nowadays. ”Just Verve is okay though. Can I help you?” She seemed curious about his odd decorations. Perhaps she wasn’t the only crafter around.
Radish nodded to her request,
