Warning, slight graphic writing

Anjali tried to get to the Twin Gods' hill. He hoped there would be a cure there, or at least he could be pointed in the right direction.

He would never make it to the hill. The stag's labored breath overtook him, he stopped for only a moment to look at the deep wounds and infection the rock hound had done to him.

And at that moment, he collapsed. A small pool of blood formed where he lay. He could see the Twin Gods' statues. He was so close. He tried to call, but nothing came out.

He slowly closed his eyes, feeling the virus inch slowly across his body and start to go into the wounds. He didn't want it to end this way. He was so close...

Warmth. It came quickly. Was he dead? Or...he swore he just saw an angel. His eyes were blurred, the light was so bright and gleaming.

"You're going to be alright, Anjali.", the voice so familiar spoke to him, "You're going to be alright."

He opened his eyes, no longer where he was but rather he had been brought right up to the hill. There, he saw the Twin Gods themselves, doing everything they could for him. They only barely touched his skin, and the wounds healed on their own. The infection was long gone, Quad's light destroyed it earlier.

"Rest. You're body is healed but you're still going to feel pain. There is nothing we can do for that, but time will heal it.", Auriea spoke to him.

"Please, tell us what attacked you.", Michael requested.

The three listened intently as Anjali spoke what he saw - an invisible enemy, a rock hound...purple eyes...the fight was blurry to him.

He slept here. He was under the protection of the gods, they would not let anything hurt him any longer this day. Quad even stayed by his side, yet the Grand Talux lowered his head.

Related to the Rock Hound Event. Anyone can join in this (but please it it draw out a little rather than coming up with an immediate solution. I want it to be fun ), and your goal is to figure out a way to cure Quad of the infection.

I'll put Quad's reaction in every now and then but otherwise you're welcome to write what he does in what you write for the story. If you need tips on how he will behave while infected, refer here under the section "Symptoms (post-zombification)". Quad will be very slow and clumsy, though, and yes, please include frequent farting and drooling when you describe him

The Grand Talux stole away during the night. He had a plan. He didn't tell anyone of this, but he just had to do it. It would be the first time he had ever defied the Twin Gods.

Quad looked around for the rock hounds. He knew they were hunting for him, and this time, he had no intention of fighting them.

Quad was going to give himself up and let them do as they pleased. He hoped the plan would solve the dilemma of the rampant rock hounds attacking his friends and the other deer of the Endless Forest. He felt extremely guilty that several deer had been killed at the hands of Iugulare...including his brother. He just wanted to make things right, he wanted the Forest to be safe again for them.

Quad would not realize what a foolish mistake he was making.

He went deep into the birch forest, where the old Playground rocks were. There he spotted a small group of Iugulare's rock hounds - an orange-eye leading a red, blue, and yellow.

But going by my actual occupation in geology, I know how water moves through the ground, how artesian wells work (by the way, De Drinkplaats would be an artesian well since it's always flowing), what a confining unit is and how it affects groundwater, uhh...how to tell the difference among an igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rock...uhh...the biology of some organisms found as fossils...yeah, lots of stuff.

Gglidden helped me consider adding two more varieties of rock hounds into the event - orange and purple varieties. I think I've decided on powers, but I wanted to get a vote on the amount of them available.

I'm trying to decide whether they'd be rarer varieties (10 to 15), or if there should be just as many of them as the other kinds (25). The thought about them being rarer is that maybe they're the alpha wolves of the Sonoma Tribe, so they're much more efficient hunters than the ones that have been fought. But at the same time, I want there to be enough for people who want to fight them to get the opportunity. I'm afraid that if I set the numbers too low that they'll be swept up really quickly though.

Here's my decision on varieties:

Purple rock hounds are able to cloak themselves to their surroundings. While not impossible to see in this form, they are very difficult to fight against, often landing critical bites and wounds on their opponent while they cannot seem to find them. The invisibility requires deep concentration, so anything that startles them will reveal them.

Orange rock hounds have more potent infection that infects rapidly when they bite into their prey. It has a higher success rate of 'zombifying' or stunning those it fights, giving the perfect opportunity for it to rip out their throat or gut them open. In addition, they can 'spit' their infection from long range.

Decided - there will be 15 of each variety, but they are extremely difficult to fight so please take note of that if you decide to fight one. I expect to see them cause much deeper wounds

The doe sits alone this night near the Playground. It is a comfortable place for her, and she can easily sense the stars above.

Her ears perk. She hears your deer coming. The doe smiles, and speaking out she says the following words:

"I know what you are here for. I can give you a hint at your future. You may like what you hear, you may regret ever coming to see me. But what you do with the words I share with you is your decision alone.

So, shall I read the stars for you?"

Hex always had the gift of foresight. She made predictions of Iugulare's coming to the Endless Forest, and also of the final fight between light and dark. Her prophecies are rarely false, but they can be.

So now your deer has the opportunity to be given a prediction of their future. It may come true, it may simply need to be interpreted, or it may just be words that mean nothing to your deer. That is your choice.

How it works ~

- Write your deer's approach to Hex, answering her question.
- I will draw a tarot card and use the interpretation of that to create your deer's unique fortune. (optional - if you'd like to know what card I drew, please make sure to ask. Otherwise, I won't include that in the response)
- You can choose to have your deer react or not, that's your choice.
- From there, you can use the fortune for your deer's story, or just leave it as nothing more than words.

Another idea I had for days I want to write but don't know what to write about. It's really quite simple:

Just tell me a landscape, any landscape you'd like, and I'll do my best to write about it in detail to where you feel like you're actually there. Here's an example of my writings like this, though it won't be quite as long, maybe a few paragraphs. Please only one per person so everyone gets a chance to request one. In the event that this isn't an extremely popular idea, then I'll accept multiple requests from one person, but for now, only one per person please.

You can include any details you'd like as well and I'll try to include them in. For example, you can include a season, a time of day, a particular animal or something you'd like to appear in the story, ect. But please, not too many.

If you can't really think of anything right off hand, show me a picture of a place you'd like me to write about instead!

And please be patient with me as I am technically supposed to be taking a break from the Comm site

Unknown. She appears very young but it is because she never seemed to age when Iugulare captured her.

Strengths -
She is a prophet, and her prophecies have come true. She is able to read the stars for fortune telling, but she prefers to give clues rather than tell the future. (Though she is blind, she can still read the stars from their light. It is a gift she is given from the Twin Gods.)

Hindrances -
Hex is blind, as she was held captive within Iugulare's infection for many years. She may not react to visual actions (head tilts, nods, ect), but she will respond to audible actions (calls, hoof stomping, maybe sniffing) and physical actions (nuzzles, bumping into her). Her body is also just now growing and building muscle, so she seems very frail.

Personality -
Since she made a mistake that cost her years of suffering, she feels she has no right to judge others. She is calm and collected, much like one who is deeply meditative. She is not threatened by a deer's appearance as she cannot see them, but rather she is more threatened by deer who seem too intelligent.

Well I am considering making another deer (though using one of the pictograms I already have)...

I'd like to make Hex, who is the sixth sibling of Caw, Blixt, Trunks, Quad, and Pent. She was held captive by Iugulare for countless years, but was freed by Quad during the final battle with Iugulare. She would be reborn by the Twin Gods, but may still have many of the consequences and hindrances of being trapped and suffering in infection for so long.

It's starting to come to my understanding that you really can't say anything without hurting someone's feelings or making someone angry. We're all set in our own ways, and while we have different opinions, it's my hope that despite the words and drama, we can still be friends. I thought that voicing my observations and thoughts would help TEF in the long run, but instead I came off as judgemental, hurtful, and prejudicial toward people who like skulls.

I never meant to be judge, hurt, or prejudice anyone, and after rereading my posts, I did.

So for that I am sorry, and for now this will be my goodbye. I'm letting this community steer the reigns of my life, so I need to take control of it. I'll be back one day.

I suppose it would help us all if we remembered this sentence: "It's just a game."

I really do love you all, and I wish that despite my wrongful doings that you'll forgive me.
