Been wanting to write something for him and couldn't think of what exactly so just let whatever come out through writing. It's just a snippet, something to help develope Rakkaus. Also, warning that it starts off dark and gore-ish, as a heads up. Hopefully it's not too dark but can show you what his past life was like and how much a difference being in the Forest is for him. The battlefield reeked of death and the winged carrion seekers flew overhead, circling scavengers. Keepers of the souls, ready to take the dead to the next realm –whatever and wherever that might be. He could remember the detail of the carnage, of the dead littering the ground. But there was no noise and no movement but of the soul eaters in the sky.

It was like he was there, but not there. An observer who could not affect the moment frozen before him.

He could see the frozen faces of comrades and enemies alike, strewn about and riddled with holes and bathing the earth beneath them with blood. Sacrifices to the Mor-Ríoghain. To the whims of a king. Wasted lives.

As much as he wanted to walk away from the pain and failure he felt at this great loss, he couldn’t. He was pulled here often, to see what had been left behind. The carnage that he had been a part of. Found himself here, in this place, in his dreams and nightmares. It was were he went when he slept, to this blood soaked world and in a body he no longer possessed but was eerily familiar with.

He had a name, but he could not recall it.

Tall for his kind, his ancestors had been warriors and thus why he was one as well. Pale skinned and azure eyes that were dark like the night sky. Hair that was soaked with sweat and blood, black at the roots and fading out into silver tips. Whenever he dared to glance down, there’d be blood splattered upon his hands and forearms. Blood not his own, or so he assumes.

Gonna take three trades, please and thanks. If you like my art, go ahead and ask. I think I'll just be linearting them and putting the lineart in color, with a flat background. However, this will prompt me to pay attention to detail. :3 In exchange, I would like one of my four deer, in any fashion you like. I'll do human or deer.

Okay. So anyone who's met Kaoori knows she's far from an evil deer. So.. I have a bit of a challenge or idea for anyone who's suffering any sort of artistic block or writer's block. I'd like to see how evil you can make Kaoori.

So here I am, NINETY FIVE PERCENT DONE with Sithrim's deer anim, and there's this one little bug where his neck 'jumps' oddly as it moves. But only on the preview/export.

I've been sitting here studying it, frame-by-frame, and it does not happen. It's not there. Nothing happens. ...Until I export it.

I'm saying to myself "There's nothing there... THERES NOTHING F^*$KING THERE!!!"

Yet there it is, in the preview. Mocking me.

I've even copied frames from other deer files, which I KNOW ARE PERFECT, and it STILL happens in the preview! I've even tried closing down everything and rebooting! What the hell, Flash!? What do you want from meeeee!!?

I can't finish this until I fix it; but I can't fix something that doesn't exist! It's driving me mad!

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh! *Pulls at fur*

But Flash loves doing things like this. Oh yes. This is nothing abnormal. It's such a horribly buggy piece of software. It's ruined so many of my works that I couldn't even begin to count how many times this POS has made mountains out of molehill tasks.

J'ai eu pas mal de problème dans ma vrai vie ces temps-ci et j'avais envie de tout claquer.Je me sentais rejeté de tous et toutes et je n'arrivais plus à comprendre pourquoi nous continuons à vivre dans un monde pareille alors qu'il est évident que l'on doit tout changer. Enfin bref quand je pensais que ce monde n'etait qui futilité et absurdité je suis tombé sur une chose qui allait me redonner un peu de cette énergie qui me fallait pour me relancer et me permettre de reprendre ce combat insecant contre cette drôle de vie...The Endless Forest

J'y ai 'recontré' des gens amicaux et chalereux qui m'ont montré que c'est pour pouvoir connaitre ce genre de personne que je continue à lutter contre cette malladie qui est la vie ^^

Alors pour tout les gens qui m'ont donner un peu de 'banana connection'(en yaniss ca veut dire de la bonne humeur XD) je veux dire ceci:Merci du fond du coeur, Gracias,Thank you et que grace a vous tous,un homme peut continuer de marcher heureux le long du chemin qui le mènera vers la fin de sa journée ^^

I decided that since everyone else was doing fanart to contribute to the community and whatforth, I would -- as time and whimsy struck me -- do likewise. I'd pick either a specific person or a random deer and do a little neck-up shot. Because I could.

My first? Solitari Tonto. Don't ask me why -- he was there. He was also really, really hard to draw, since I had not a whole lot of sense of his character or how to translate his look into my style. I just made him look happy, just because.


I'd say sorry that it stinks, but hey: it's free art. Everyone likes free art, right?

I'm just so outrageously bored (and have been kinda down the last few weeks due to RL), so...

Instead, I'd like to risk drawing them as I think they'd appear in "Invader Zim".
As a side note: I am aweful at drawing humans... so I will be drawing in the form of the other "alien" species within that show.
(That would include Irkens, Vort, Meekrob, Planet 'Jackers, Floaty cone things, Blorch Rats, Nhar-Gh'ok (which I know would kill me from being very human looking), and other varied aliens that appear in season 3. |D )

Er, though since the Vort look a lot like deer (or fauns, really.) I might mostly use them unless requested otherwise.

The rain on my back felt like millions of daggers, plunging into me. My head hung low, my eyes full of sadness, my ears drooping by the sides of my face. I squinted my eyelids together, trying to stop the tears from flowing. But I couldn't. My salty tears mixed with the rain droplets as they ran down my face, dripping onto the moist grass below.
I couldn't beleive it, he was dead....
My old friend lay on the floor in front of me. He was resting in his usual place, on the platform, next to the ruins. The rain droplets were covering his grey matted fur and ran down onto the gashes in his side. He didn't die a painful death, just passed away in his sleep. I found him here this morning.
Serenity and Latte had decided to go home to give me some time on my own. I thought back to the last time we spoke. A shudder ran down my spine; he must have known it was coming, his death I mean. What he had said was this:
'Young deer, please take care of yourself. The forest is darkening...'
I backed away from his body and went to wander around the forest. The forest seemed to share my emotions, the sun was hiding, the birds weren't singing and the deer weren't prancing around. They sat under trees, their heads bowed. The words seemed to echo in my head
" The forest is darkening, the forest is darkening.. "

I trudged a whole circle of the forest and then found myself at the ruins again. I dumped myself next to my friend's body and cried myself to sleep.

My dreams were dark and haunting. I was running through the forest..except it was different. The branches of the trees had no leaves, mist clouded my vision and the ground was dirt. My hoofbeats rang out loudly as I ran across it. Then out of the mist came millions of deer, surrounding me, blocking me in. I recognised them as my friends. Their fur had been torn off in places leaving bloody gaping wounds. They had no eyes, only two hollow circles that stared at me, haunting me. They closed in fullly.

I know this isn't what Bylah exactly meant by her blog but, I want to make everyone who has only ever been made 1 or 2 fanarts a picture. It could be even that you feel like no one really makes you alot of fanart. If you have 10 fanarts but you haven't gotten some for a while or something, I'll make you one. No questions asked. Even if your just feeling down or something... By fanart I mean something that you didn't request or ask for. Don't tell me who you want me to draw or anything. I'll pick one of your deer and do my best. Or if you know someone who has only a few fanart tell me. I feel like I contribute so little to this community. I want to be useful here. I'm sorry I've been mostly an lazy butt. Forgive me? <3
