I entered abandoned residence hall, the heels of my boots snapping smartly against the linoleum. Stepping over the metal door plate on the floor that would normally announce my arrival with a loud, echoing clatter, I rounded the corner to face a white printout taped against the closed and locked double doors of a dark room.

I leaned forward and let my forehead hit the glass with a sharp crack. I drove 30 freaking miles to get here, only to find the class had been cancelled. I really needed to invest in a computer, a laptop at the least, so my mother wouldn't inadvertently break it. Sighing, I hitched my bag further up my shoulder and turned heel to get out of this place. Guess I had a long drive ahead of me.

The unsympathetic wind blew my breath away as I pushed open the glass door and walked outside. I folded my arms, drawing my jacket closer to me as I walked in a hunched gait back to my gold colored late model Ford Ranger. I dug in my pockets and fumbled with the keys a moment outside of my truck, finally finding the right one and getting inside the cab, its warmth trickling out from the drive up here.

I sat back against the seat and sighed. Driving back home, to the house, that was painfully empty.
My father died three days ago. His pnemonia spread to his other lung, and with those complications, he just couldn't make it. My mother and I were the last people he seen, holding his hand as he took his last ragged breaths. My father, the man I treasured my entire life, was gone, I still couldn't believe it. My mother and I were working with a funeral home and making the needed arrangements.
In my anger and grief, I had given my wedding ring back to Vipin. I felt like all this crap was burdening me too much to have a relationship with anyone. I felt like crawling in a hole and dying. I still feel like doing that.

It was really quiet in the Forest. I came to the pond for some fresh water. The sky was gloomy. It was going to rain soon. I looked at my reflection in the steady water. I still had no idea who I was before and what I left behind... For the very first time since I was reborn as a Deer, I felt really homesick for some other life. It was weird to be sad about something you couldn't even remember. But thats what I felt... A lightning broke the sky in half. The sudden strike of thunder scared me so much.... I ran as almost death itself chased me. The fog, the rain and fear almost made me blind. I didn' t realise where I was going untill the silhouettes of the Ruin suddenly appeared in front of me. I hid myself in something that was probably a cellar or something long ago... I couldn't stop shaking. The storm that suddenly reached the Forest was very strong. It made trees mourn and bend... I was exhausted from running and I fell asleep soon. Oddly, the stone remainings were warm and quite comfy. Moss and old dry leaves made a cosy bed for a frightened little fawn. "So the Ruin isn't really dangerous" - was my last thought before I drifted away into Morpheus kingdom...

Yep. A week. I've been spending less time in the Forest over that week. Mostly due to the map's lack of updating, and leaving me unsure of who to send in. I've got a sad amount of screenshots from over that time period, too. So here they are all together, only getting captions where I see fit. They're basically all "fun with friends" shots. =]


A random deer greeted Spade on the bridge, and it led to this. (Oh hey, I think that's Fei!)

Radeon and Okami. =] I wonder if I should officially add him to the family section of my deer's biographies, since Radeon did sort of adopt him as a fawn..


A random nameless fawn joined Scape in running around on the pond and water-walking. They also liked hiding under him. (Wonder who it was..)

Ah...where do I begin....
I'm not sure as to the point of this, but I suppose learning from my interactions might be found useful....
I suppose reviewing these might benefit myself in the effects of others, as I have found myself refusing to report to my mother as of now.
Mi luna....I pray you stay silent, as I won't give in to your silly actions now.

......:When I awoke, it was incredibly warm, sunny, and refreshing. My skin felt soft, my fur loose instead of matted in layers of...well...I'd rather not remind myself. The spring air, I found, was quite immersing, as many others have explained. It's truly a wonderous thing to wake up...happy...when one fell asleep in desperate pain and fear. I've ought to remind myself that even though my mother isn't exactly that of the norm, I must be sure to at least think on her words. Acting like a gentlemen is only kind, after all.





.....:After standing, I slowly walked near the pond, my body feeling so free of any restrictions pain once imposed upon me. I assumed it was some sort of trickery which made my body appear so frail....but at least it had surpressed itself. Grinning, I turned to my relfection to find, with great joy, my face once again as white as the snow that had almost melted away. I sure hope nobody heard my chuckle, but I just couldn't seem to shrug it off. Although, someone must have, for when I turned my head, I found the deer I had met not long ago...when I was cowering in my desperate state. "Wudiin! You're okay!" She shouted gleefully. My eyes widened, and I quickly bowed my head. "I'm so sorry, miss....that I allowed myself to be seen in such a dreadful state....my greatest apologies."

i had an AWESOME TEF dream last night, and i thought it was real!

Michael came to the forest and cast a spell on me. turned out to be antlers AND a pelt, but it looked like someone designed it! IT WAS NEW! so i got up and started spazzing out and trying to see how to get this new thing. it became RIDICULOUSLY dark for some reason, so i could barely even SEE the set XD i logged off to find that Michael had announced something here. he told us to rub against every tree we could find, and we would get all the new sets! there were like.... a lot XD i was so excited too, but then i woke up |c

and then i was like "YES OMG NEW SETS I GOTTA GET DOWNSTAIRS" but after a few minutes it hit me XD MAN THATS NOT FAIR. that dream was so awesome. and those antlers and pelt looked really cool on Skokey D: oh well XD

so there ya go.

So today was my first time experiencing a change in weather (or might have been time of day) in the forest. Until then I experienced nothing but sunlight...
Anyway, I kept hearing something howling in the game. It sounded a lot like a wolf (yet this site doesn't seem to imply anywhere that there are other large beasts in the forest), but I wondered if it could've just been another deer with a mask I've never seen before. Running around I noticed the sound was louder in some places than others, but I didn't see anything on the sides of the window show any sign when the howl sounded, so I had a really hard time finding the source.
Is it just some nighttime sound effect thing just for the nighttime theme or is there another animal? Or masked deer?

Hello everybody! Today is Seele's birthday! This means that I've been on this game for 1 year now Am I one of the oldies now? Nah XD! I guess the outcome of it all is that even after a year, I'm still pretty shy. But, this isn’t about me, this is about little Seele!

Seele is based on my back then born OC, Seele. Since I had read all deer in-game were stags, I didn't want to go as my usual self Misako. So, I used Seele's name, because I came to adore him.
Seele, the actual boy my deer Seele is based upon (Getting confused yet?) was born as a deformed child. Blind, an enormous size-difference in legs, deformed hands, and a deformed back, he had a hard time living. His father called him Seele, which means Soul, because he hoped the boy's soul would be stronger as his body. Seele indeed turned out strong, and put himself through all the operations together with his healthy twin broter. But in the end, little Seele turned twisted. When he found out he could repair his own body by stealing the souls of others, he went on a rampage and had to be killed in the end.

My little deer Seele was in fact made in the time Seele was still pretty normal. Seele was also supposed to be retreated, shy, hesitant, but respectful. I think he always stayed that way. Instead of totally blind, I made Seele have a bad eyesight. All is a little blurry, which can send the stag in confusion when he can't really recognize someone, but he'll always try. I think the twisted side Seele turned out to have, hasn't turned up in the deer Seele.
