Does any one know what happened to Dannii,Animal Artist, and Mrs Halloween?

Hi everyone,

Someone pointed out to me, and I agree, that it can be really unpleasant to browse blogs when there is music in posts that automatically starts playing. If there are more than one of these, in the "Biography" blog section for example, It quickly becomes a cacophony! So, I ask you to please set all your music tracks to NOT play unless someone presses the PLAY button on the player.

Here are some instructions on how to do this:

* On Mixpod.com, just go to the customize tab and click the blue word "Settings". Then select no for autoplay.

* If you have a player that is auto-playing check in the embed code and you will see something like: 'autoplay=true'. Please change that to 'autoplay=false'.

If I find any autoplaying music in my journeys through the site today, I will change the settings on them as well.

AND WHILE WE'RE AT IT! If you are posting lots of big images, please try putting some of them behind a "Read more" link. Use the button in the posting area that says "Split summary at cursor." Everything in the top textarea is immediately visible, everything in the lower one will be seen when a reader clicks for "more." This will help save people's bandwidth and make browsing a better experience for everyone. But the point of the image galleries is to see your images, so definitely don't hide everything away! We want to see what you are making

AND about that 'Display Name' problem! nope. it's still not fixed. We are dependent on our server admin to help us fix this because Michael and I haven't the slightest idea why it doesn't work. The guy has been a great help with the overhaul of the site on the server side. But we can't monopolize all his time (unfortunately ) He will get to it soon as I poke him about it some more.

My goodness, I wish I had remembered to ink any of the doodles I have of him. Or set up a bio proper, which I will do once I've gotten him in the forest a bit.

He's an energetic, tough little fawn, and he's about to take his first romp through the forest.

Edit: OK, so, he just had his first romp through the forest. I'll probably throw him back in later, when my fingers are less sore. But, in the meanwhile, here's a picture of him with his parents.


And, now, I have a question: who is this deer? I've seen his picto around a lot, and he was a lot of fun for Krim to play with.

The random music playing on the biographies page is DRIVING ME UP THE WALL!

For those of you that have the little music players that don't play automatically i salute you, those i don't mind, if i want to listen i can.

But those ones that play automatically, i don't want to hear. I have my own music playing and do not want little clips of your music forced upon my ears often drowning out my awesome play list that i have constructed with a great deal of love and time and effort.

If you are desperate enough to have that music on, put it in the 'read more' bit of the bio page so when im browsing the main bios it isnt going to start playing.

No one accepts me my own family deserted me,
This dark abiss that is my life is hanging by a thread,
Can no one accept how i am?

They see my skin and my fur,my bone skull that is enough.
Taking time only to look and judge appearances they ignore or shy away.
They judge the outside and reject the heart within.
Rejection is always a slap in the face ahurtful one at that but with time one numbs.
You become so used to it you dont even flinch when you hear the other deer whispering.
You tend to stay away from them and go off alone.
Not neccesarily banished but not far from it.

I am sorry for leaving so much when I’m in the forest. Sometimes I forget that I left it on b/c I get busy doing other things. And most likely this will happen quite a bit. I just didn’t want anyone to think I am ignoring them. Long story as to what is keeping me busy..lets just say I have kids to take care of and I don’t mean the human kind. LOL HECK NO! I mean goat babies. They have to eat like every 4 hours. They were just born yesterday, so I check on them a lot.

anyway, this is sœur.

(terribly sorry if her design is similar to anyone else's... so far i haven't seen anyone with this one!)


i don't have time to give her a complicated past or personality, so she's just going to be my little alter-ego.
i plan on drawing her often!
she enjoys sleeping, so you'll probably find her napping often.
and... that's pretty much it, she's not very special.
i'll give her a good biography one day. maybe even a story.
