All are great systems. Look at what games you want and also compare the controllers for the PS3 and Xbox to see which is more comfortable for ya'.
I have a wii and a PS3. The wii has lots of great games, but it isn't powerful enough to display HD and high resolution textures in its games.
Can't really say much on the 360 since I don't have one, but my PS3 has served me very well. And I'd be able to play games online with you if you got that system versus the Xbox.

Also, I'm not sure if ti still exists (since they revamped the design a bit), but Xboxes used to have a ton of overheating issues which would lead to hardware failure. I think those have been more or less worked out, though. At least, I hope they have.

But yeah. What Shimmy and I said. Consider it carefully. Consoles are kind of expensive, after all.
