[This is an interaction, or roleplay, blog. Have fun with the images!]
Feel free to interact with my deer in either visual or literal format. I'll try to respond as promptly as I can, but I can't make any promises.

"While it's dark, I would say...It's joyous, not grim. Because it's brightness against darkness, stars on a night sky..."
Seed replied after giving it some thought. Of course, because he associated it with Scape, it had a more cheery impression than maybe most. Still, he could argue it for a long time.
Scape bemusedly wondered if
He shrugged. "I just like the way it looks." And he'd worn it for so long, it had almost become a part of him, even affecting his genes if his daughter's pelt markings were any proof.

"Mmm, don't want to put you down," Kylar said before claiming the other man's lips, his tongue moving in a fiery dance determined to take control to unleash a little of his love. He was very glad that even after all the time they had been together, living together that he still felt that passion burning in his veins as brightly as he did when they had first gotten together. It was like the honeymoon period had never ended and had just went on and on. The necklace around Toukan's neck would probably confirm this. Kylar guessed it would have flared up brightly, turning light pink.
He wasn't going to argue with
If the snowflake charm had changed color, Toukan wouldn't have noticed. He was too focused on responding to those lips and tongue.
All good things must come to
"Heh, that's bright," Kylar smirked at it. He wondered if it had been particularly dark at the top of the stairs if he would be glowing faintly through his skin. That happened periodically if he was excited and there was adrenaline coursing his veins. That rose the lightning nearer to the surface and could make it so that the light shone through translucent skin, giving him a faint glow.

[Here's the idea I came up
They'd been kind of shaky for the past few days. The reindeer had been hanging around the forest for just this reason. It was only a matter of time before it happened...
He froze.
Like a branch finally creaking loose from a tree after too much snow weighed it down, the left antler fell sideways, detaching from his head to land with a thud on the ground. His head suddenly felt a lot lighter after that loss of weight...and considerably lopsided.
Looking up, he gave his head an experimental shake. The remaining antler swayed a bit with the movement, but held fast.
Toukan huffed.
Looked like he got to be a "unicorn" for awhile.
He hoped it wouldn't be for long. He was bound to get some funny remarks about this.
From a distance, the lack of
As he drew closer, the urge to chuckle became too great for his willpower to continue resisting. He let out the noise, a light chuckle, low, lower than his usual. It was reserved for things that Toukan did that amused him – as many things were. Toukan had many things that were uniquely his, chiefly among them was a particular smirk, a smirk of love and lust and amusement and contented happiness mixed in with a thousand other things that mixed together to create the cocktail of emotion that Kylar felt when around his other half – his better half he imagined that most would say. He would say it, as well, if he was feeling sappy – which if he admitted it to himself, and to none else, was more often than he'd like. Not that he was complaining, not really. It was a good feeling after all.
“I leave you alone for two days and you become a unicorn,” Kylar said, his low voice - slightly rocky and accented with Glaswegian – was riddled with entertainment. Another chuckle passed his lips – softer lips than one might expect from a man with his build – before he continued speaking, “It's certainly an interesting fashion choice for you, love. How long before you lose the other one?”
This is probably riddled with rust. It's been a while.
I would like to role-play

[Not bothering with color coding since I'm on my phone and can't be bothered.]
He caught sight of a dark blue shape out of the corner of his eye, causing his heart to race like it usually did when Kylar came home after his job kept him away for awhile. Toukan held back from running to meet him though. He was happy to see him, sure - closer to ecstatic really - but that didn't mean he wanted to seem desperate.
Though he couldn't hold back the urge to roll his eyes at Kylar's remark, retorting with, "So I decided to be a little more magical for awhile..." before answering the question shot his way. "And not sure. But," he shook his head again, causing the antler to wave around, proving how loose it was, "shouldn't be long before the other one drops."

OOC: EDIT: LOL, SORRY, I
Nika's antler's sharpened and whined as she sharpened them against a large boulder. She was in The Playground, and she merely sharpened them when she needed them. It was as if she was back in her room, sharpening her sword. Nika was a rather tall female, taller than the average Roosevelt elk cow, but it did not take away her femininity.
It wasn't often that she came
She still found it interesting how entering this forest changed her shape to match the local residents. From slightly tall female human to green-furred deer with human face and what were known as secretary bird antlers. Not something she really knew how to use. Her art didn't involve actual weapons; the body became the weapon instead.
Her ears perked up at a scraping sound not too far off, reminding her of how her senses were heightened in this form too. She wasn't here often enough to really know anyone, which she was usually ok with, but her curiosity was piqued.
She made her way towards the collection of large rocks known as the Playground.
After the tips of her antlers
Kylar snorted at the
“I'm sure the unicorn community is very grateful to have such a wonderful member join then,” He answered with a smile – not a smirk, this time Kylar genuinely smiled revealing perfectly white teeth. He was vain enough still to keep them absolutely perfect – not that he had to try very hard. Kahlan made sure that Kylar was as healthy as possible, although what exactly she did to him was a mystery.
“So think they'll be bigger or smaller when they grow back?” Kylar asked, “I mean I know they usually get bigger, but you are getting old. Near to the double digits now, so I wonder if you'll start shrinking in the antler department.” A chuckle this time., “Oh that reminds me, I'll have to start planning what to get you, shan't I?”
@NikaGika: She reached the
She reached the Playground in time to see a deer finishing off sharpening their antlers on one of the rocks. Seemed to be a rather tall antlered doe. But Suiren wasn't intimidated. Height didn't always mean much.
Seeing she'd been spotted - Had that doe been speaking to the birds? Interesting. - the green-furred doe nodded her head in greeting, keeping her expression neutral, even though the Forest Spirit mask she wore completely covered her face. She liked the look of it - interesting that she found a mask that reminded her of one of her favorite movies - and the fact that it added to the whole "poker face" she tended to do. At first, at least.
"Hello," she said.
@Mick:
He wondered what it looked like, seeing his antler wave around almost on its own like that. Probably a little freaky. The spot the other had been couldn't look too great either. Sometimes it bled a bit when the antler detached, and scabbed over later. It definitely got itchy for a few days after.
Toukan couldn't help smiling back. It was a bit contagious after all.
"Ah, yea. Going to be ten this year. Hmm..." He frowned a bit in thought. "They didn't seem much bigger last time, so I guess they'll stay pretty much the same this time..." He wasn't going to mention how he'd done research on reindeer lifespans. Ten seemed to be the average maximum age for males. It was...worrying. But he didn't feel like he was nearing the end, so hopefully that meant he was weird enough that it didn't apply to him.
Nika bowed at the masked doe
She nodded again, introducing
Even though it had been obvious what the other doe had been up to, Suiren decided to ask about it so the conversation wouldn't die before it really began. "So..." She glanced over at the rocks. "...what were you doing?" She was curious how the other would answer anyway. It might be something more than just "sharpening my antlers".
"Oh, I am just sharpening my

“Did I say something wrong?” Kylar asked, any traces of rockiness in his voice gone as it softened into an apologetic tone. He really didn't want to spoil today, they hadn't seen each other in a couple of days, and what a shitty boyfriend would he be, if he managed to spoil that for them,“I didn't mean to upset you, love. Never mean to. Forgive me?” He lowered his head so as to nuzzle into Toukan for a moment, the feel of his fur was very soft, comfy, like a pillow. A pillow that Kylar was very used to having next to him, to having near to him. A pillow that he treasured.
@NikaGika: Suiren chuckled at
Suiren chuckled at that. "Ah, yes. Blueberries can be dangerous, can't they."
@Mick:
Toukan blinked, snapping out of his thoughts. He hadn't meant to drift like that, and apparently the depressing nature of his thoughts had shown on his face.
The reindeer turned his head to where his love was nuzzled into his neck, mindful of their antlers colliding (that was the benefit of him losing his antlers - there was no worry of them getting in the way for awhile). It was probably softer than usual, too, since he'd been getting fluffier for the colder months.
"Hey, stop that. You didn't do anything wrong." He nudged at one of Kylar's ears the best he could from this angle. "I'm just...thinking of things I probably shouldn't be worrying about..."
"Ah, forgive me, but I forgot
She nodded at the name,
Suiren tilted her head, frowning behind her mask in thought. "I haven't seen anything...but I'm not here that often." She would know if something was going on, though, because Tundra or Kinsha might tell her, and there hadn't been any recent news.
She tilted her head. "You
Suiren almost took a step
Well, too late now.
"Yes," she answered, choosing her words carefully in case this was too much of a shock. She wasn't sure how many of the forest residents were aware of the human world after all. "I was born outside of this forest." Never mind that she was actually a human "masquerading" as a deer.
She thought about what the
Some relief filtered through
“What do you want for your birthday actually?” Kylar asked, allowing the topic to move back towards happier subjects. He was unsure this year, of what to get the other stag for his birthday. Nothing had really sprung out at him – and his birthday was drawing nearer. Three weeks to find something and get it for him – three weeks in which he would find one of two perfect gifts – or as near enough to them as he could find, he couldn't work miracles. Kahlan was the one that could track down the most unusual items that one could ask for – apparently the old woman at the shop that she had worked for had had many contacts throughout the antique world, and Kahlan had used that to find some strange things – he wondered maybe if she could think of something, depending on how Toukan responded to his inquiry.
