Kylar chuckled at the corny
“The ruins are just over there,” He began vaguely gesturing in the direction of the Ruins, “We could go home, cuddle on the couch…you know, not watching a movie haha.” He chuckled a little at the end of the sentence. That was a cliché sentiment but it was a good one so he would use it without shame. It occurred to him – it had been a while since they had exited the forest together, he couldn’t even remember how Toukan got in and out really; they didn’t often come together. Kylar just summoned the door in the Ruins. Kahlan had said once that she had let someone else out that way, someone who had been trapped but after a while they had been pulled back in…she had speculated that that was because they had been trapped though. They were unable to leave for great periods of time for some reason or another, it was ages ago and Kylar couldn’t remember the details.
Page 12, I hereby claim thee.
@Zerg: He hoped that would be
He hoped that would be the case, for he wondered how his cousin was doing. There were others he pondered about as well, such as a certain doe of violet shades of color. He really had been away too long.
A nod was given in answer as he began to rise to his hooves. "That would be fine with me." Perhaps they would encounter a familiar face or two there or along the way.
@(ninja)Mick:
Not watching a movie. Toukan had to force back a snort that was both exasperated and amused. Kylar would give that kind of suggestion. ...not that he was against the idea of course.
"If we do that, I better leave the forest in my own way so I don't lose my clothes again..." Since last time Kylar had taken him through that portal at the Ruins, he'd ended up naked.
Dark waited until Bastilion
“Mmm…for that, maybe I should
@Zerg: Walter. A name he was
Walter. A name he was familiar, but a stag he was not. "I have heard of him, but have not had the chance to be acquainted," was the response. There was a short pause as the brown stag pondered the darker one's words. "So he had been slain?" It would be an odd way of putting it had someone else asked. It would also be odd should another not of this Forest overheard, for "had been slain" would surely cause a double-take. But this was an odd place where many could return to living; the rules of the outside hardly applied.
@Mick:
Toukan couldn't help the blush that rose up. He should've realized he'd be setting himself up for a remark like that. But the blond said he'd brought some of Toukan's clothes along just in case. It was as if he'd planned this...but that settled it for him. He didn't need to use his own method of leaving. Though taking that portal that Kylar used the last time had been...odd. He would put up with it since it meant spending more time with his boyfriend though. And sure, he would still end up naked...but at least not for long.
He'd have to tell Kylar how he left the Forest some day. But for now, he said, "I guess I'll go with your way then."
[ hrrrrrk sorry I haven't
The old bull nods. "Hn,
@Dannii: I don't know where I
@Zerg:
He could not help blinking in reaction to those words. "Wesker's doing?" Bastilion had to wonder what had caused that. He doubted the elk would go to such measures for no reason.
[[Starting to braindead so it's short. >>; ]]
"I do... not know the...
Kylar smirked at Toukan’s
“Was hoping yi’d say that,” Kylar said with the smirk audible in his tone and the accent which had flared a little again. He turned his body towards the ruins, “Shall we?”
[[ yeeees I'd actually love
@Zerg: There was a hum of
There was a hum of agreement from the chocolate-colored stag. "That is true..." Since the deed had been undone with Walter's return to life, it no longer mattered. Though perhaps the animosity that led up to it would still be present. Bastilion wondered if he would find out the cause of that conflict. And if he did not...well, he would be content either way.
[[I can't remember if Bast ever knew about the tension between Kaoori and Walter, hence he gets to be ignorant of it. |D]]
@Mick:
He couldn't help the slight smile that formed in response to that smirk since he knew he'd made the other happy with his decision.
Toukan nodded, pointing himself towards the Ruins where he remembered the portal was. He hoped traveling through it wouldn't seem as weird this time.
@Dannii: It must happen then. B|
He walked at a slow pace
“Something the matter?” He decided to ask, not wanting Toukan to think about whatever it was that seemed to be bothering him alone – Kylar wanted to help shoulder any burden, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant; Toukan had Kylar at his side, and Kylar had Toukan’s back.
Toukan blinked, pulled out of
Soon enough, the pond came
No matter.
"Still... it is... good that... the pond... has sto...pped pro...ducing what... looked to... be zombies." he almost wanted to laugh, yet he remained fairly serious. Going into a laugh induced coughing fit would only make it harder down the line to hold conversations. He pauses, glancing around for any familiar faces who may remember Bastilion.
"Seemed like somethin' was on
@Zerg: Bastilion wondered at
Bastilion wondered at the numerous deer who turned tail and fled at the sight of the demonic bull. He expected some, sure, but this was a much larger amount than normal. He frowned as he began to wonder if he had missed something. The brown stag decided he would need to inquire about that.
Blink. "Zombies?" He was unsure he had heard that right. Was he only referring to Walter's return to life? Or were there others?
@Mick:
Toukan blinked again. "Well...yea..." he conceded. "But it's nothing important," he added on.
Dark nodded at the word.
Bastilion hummed in thought
"Alright, fair enough," Kylar
The portal was not exactly anything interesting to look at - it simply appeared to be a box of white light approximately eight feet by six feet. It was more interesting to step through, which Kylar would wait on Toukan doing first so as not to strand the other by the ruins. When stepping through, anyone presumably other than people with powerful healing magic like Kahlan experienced a blackness as they were transported through and their form changed. According to Kahlan, what she saw was also darkness but she could see herself and could see her molecules literally moving and changing as she demolecularised and then remolecularised in the other form. Strangely enough, she had noticed that the mask she wore seemed to simply float away when she went from deer to human and then float back onto her face when she reversed that. She was unsure where it went. The same did not happen with clothes. She had walked through with clothes once - according to her the molecules simply scattered and did not return, so when she came back through, she was naked - hence both siblings had placed a box of clothing so that they could strip without leaving their clothes to the elements.
"After you milove," Kylar said, gesturing slightly at the portal wall.
Dark pauses for a moment. He
@Mick: Toukan felt his fur
Toukan felt his fur raise up a bit like there was static electricity to the air before the portal appeared. He wasn't sure if that happened last time, but went with it anyway.
A brow rose at being told to go first, but with a mental shrug, the reindeer stepped forward towards the box of light. "Don't go into the light," he couldn't help joking quietly to himself.
@Zerg: My mind is going blank now. 8| I would put Trist, but handling 2 characters at once gets challenging.
Kylar heard Toukan say
I might throw another OC in
Just gotta decide who.
@Mick: There was that
There was that disorienting drifting feeling he somewhat remembered - it wasn't all that different from when he separated from his body in what he called "spiriting" - which was probably more accurately called "astral projection"; he wasn't sure. He could even almost compare it to his way of leaving the Forest...except he was awake instead of drifting via sleep.
If it wasn't a bit familiar, Toukan probably would've been panicking.
It didn't last long, however, and soon the reindeer was aware of himself again, noticing he now stood on two legs instead of four. He vaguely wondered what happened to his clothes when he traveled like this since he still had them when doing things his own way.
...now hopefully no one was around. He would've opened his eyes to check, but he wanted to wait a moment before doing so.
@Zerg: If you want to. |D
He was through, he could feel
“Just for a minute,” Kylar murmured quietly, his pitch lower than normal given how quiet his voice was. He enjoyed the feeling of having his arms around Toukan – and that was one of the reasons he had wanted to come back into the human realm. He had wanted to do this.
Although he was a bit
Toukan turned a bit in the embrace to lean up and place a kiss on the other's cheek since it was something he'd wanted to do but couldn't before.
|D Okie-Dokie-Smokie. /end
Noticing a certain lack of deer sticking around by the pond, Dark can't help frowning slighly to himself. He couldn't have possibly been the only reason for a partial evacuation, could he? Then again, it was still reasonable enough to assume so.
Near the pond, the orca-doe hardly seemed to notice the demon's arrival. The random evacuation of half the deer in the area only led her to think everyone's just ADHD today. Paying the abandonment no mind, she remains knee-deep in the pond in idle conversation with the koi and dragonflies.
(B| I realized Zerg needs more attention. So have a ball of random in this RP. XDDDDD)
[[XD Random is ok with
With the oddly sparse population of deer in the area, Bastilion not help noticing a rather slender doe in the pond...and blinked.
Was she conversing with the koi and dragonflies?
The giant antlers on his head were almost comical-looking as he tilted his head. But indeed she was talking to the local wildlife, almost as if they were talking back and she could decipher their language!
Odd.
When he recieved the kiss to
Dark had to make a momentary
A dragonfly chose that moment to land on one of the orca doe's black and white ears, and immediatly began gossiping about the deer in the area. She almost had to laugh; Between the dragonflies and koi, she had a tendency to get more than a few earfulls of gossip and rumors per day. It was something of a challenge to ignore most of it and not judge the other deer she comes across because of it. Still, the persistant dragonfly yanks on her ear while apparently talking until she turns her head in the direction it seemed to want her to gaze. Her reddish-brown eyes momentarilly focus on the two irish elk before she talks back to the dragonfly on her ear.
"Just because they're big -and the one is kind of spooky- doesn't mean they're going to eat us all." she then practically skips over to the two much larger deer to prove it. Dispite her own normally percieved as extra height, she was still somewhat dwarfed by the elk.
@Mick: The kiss caught Toukan
The kiss caught Toukan by surprise - the good kind. He wondered why he hadn't thought to do that before instead of just a kiss on the cheek...but that didn't matter right now.
His arms came up to return the embrace he was still in as he sought to deepen the kiss, applying a little more pressure with his lips.
[[I just rolled my eyes at what I wrote.]]
@Zerg: [[Ah, the memories... 8'D "FOOL! *smack*" All fear the mighty antlers.]]
A quick glance was sent in the giant's direction at the sidestep, Bastilion resisting the urge to raise a brow at his actions. Soon his gaze returned to the odd doe's direction as she seemed to be conversing with one of the insects that had alighted on her ear. Either he was going mad, or she was...but he did not have much time to ponder that as she seemed to arrive at the decision to approach the two of them.
The brown stag blinked, nearly forgetting his manners as he had not expected to be approached by a strange stranger. He did not care about the repetitive nature of that thought either.
Finally, with a mental shake of the head at himself, the Irish elk bent his leg in a half bow - for that was what had been ingrained in him...and to bow lower with such large antlers would surely topple him over, and he could not have that of course. "Good day to you, Miss," he greeted her.
Dark followed the orca doe
The orca doe retuns the half-bow with a curtsy of her own before the two much larger deer, she flashes a less than timid smile. "Hi!" she greets back, never one for extended formalities or greetings. "A question; You two don't eat koi do you?" She asks, feeling that she had to put some speculations to rest quickly. Of course, the question would sound like it was coming from nowhere if one didn't see her talking with said fish a moment before.
Dark tilts his head slightly. "Hn... not... this week." he responds. He couldn't answer for a lifetime, in which case the answer would've been yes, but for the most recent of days the response was true enough.
Another blink was elicited as
Kylar let out a deep noise
"Mmm, better stop, otherwise "problems" might develop," Kylar spoke with a chuckle behind his words and amusement plain in his tone. "Problems" being a codeword they used on a regular basis since Toukan would blush so much it looked like he might faint otherwise - well, unless they were mid-coitus. The embarrasment seemed to go then - and afterwards they usually were asleep so there was no embarrasment then, well until they woke up again.
Euphemisms for the win?
And there was the blush those
Kylar chuckled, no one came
“Alright, here’s the clothing box…your stuff’s under mine since I figured you wouldn’t be using it that often,” Kylar said to his boyfriend lifting some of his own clothing out of it, “Now take a good look, it’ll last you till we get home,” Kylar added with a flirty wink to amuse himself. He knew that it was perhaps a little mean to embarrass someone easily embarrassed, but he did love that rosy colour his boyfriend’s cheeks went on a very regular basis.
...I procrastinate for far too long.
Despite the extra blushing
He chose not to respond with words as he reached for his own clothes, figuring the redness of his face was response enough.
Kylar pulled on the tight
Khakis and a light blue
A glance back at his lover showed he was dressed as well. No more admiring the view then...though that was probably a good thing, as they were still out in public.
An amused browraise was shot at the white lightning bolt.
"What? Admiring the lightning
With a glance sent down
Apparently Toukan wasn’t
“Mm…always want you to look at me…just me when ‘admiring the view’,” Kylar purred in response, kissing the cheek of the other since he had yet to turn his head back to look at his boyfriend, “Well I suppose you can look at others, since you get to look and touch me.”
Toukan couldn't help smiling
"M'glad of that," Kylar
^ short.
He definitely wasn't
Kylar held Toukan close to
"We should probably move," He laughed - just a little breathlessly
If they hadn't needed to
"Yea, probably," he agreed even though he was reluctant to move away just yet. He was too comfortable like this.
(Blah, my muse dried up this
The odd doe tilts her head slightly at the two's answers. After a moment or two of apparent consideration, she puts on a rather accepting grin. The dragonfly seemed to remain perched on her ear so far into the conversation. She takes the moment to glance at it. "See, I told you big deer aren't all fish eaters~" she pauses, as if now remembering some manners. "Oh! Sorry, that probably sounded completely out of the blue, didn't it?" she asks. All the while Dark holds a somewhat blank, if not mildly amused and perplexed expression. "Hn... yes." he responds.
"By the way, I'm Zergarikiaka, but just call me Zerg." she self introduces, bowing again quickly.
One could describe the look
Shaking off his perplexed expression, the dark stag nodded, introducing himself. "I am called Bastilion."
