Set:
Appearence:
Personality: Nyla:She loves company and goes out to search for it, but it can never fill the empty hole inside her. She's a whirlwind of emotions, always keeping you guessing, going from joyous to depressed. She despises her sister and fights for control. Absolutely fears water, will go days without a bath if possible. She's still always trying to please and be nice. Myla:The same rebel she was, if not more now. Loves the water, lives in it when she has control. Moody and short tempered. She still tries to get back in her own body, so she tries to drown herself.
History: Nyla and Myla were born as rare twins. Nyla was always trying to please her parents, while Myla was always the rebel. Life couldn't be better, until disaster strikes as it always does. Myla had been sneaking away to explore, and one day wanted Nyla to come with her. After a lot of pestering, Nyla gives in and follows Myla into the darkness the next night. As they trek out, Nyla sees creator hill and goes up to have a quick pray as their parents taught. Myla watches with distast,a fatal move. Nyla worries for her sister, but continues to follow her. They reach the pond, and they look into it. Myla tells Nyla her theory about the pond that if you went in you went to another realm. Myla jumped in, running to the deepest part of the pond. Nyla motioned to come back franticly and panicked when Myla disapeared underwater. Nyla watched for several minutes, expecting her sister to pop up and laugh at her. Nothing happened.

Enjoying it so far

I've been on here for a day now, and I have to say I'm loving. I think I've figured everything out, I'm just worried how I'm going to remember who is who in the game. Everyone seems nice and friendly. I appreciate it, I really do. Feel free to comment any tips. Eye

My First Day

Alrighty, here's my adventure so far:

I first came across The Endless Forest on this site (The Endless Forest Community), which I had been linked to from Google search. I was looking up cervine unicorns, and the first result was this post: http://endlessforest.org/community/very-cervine-unicorn'
I saw that everything here seemed very interesting, so I researched the game a bit, and found out a lot more about Tale of Tales. I'd never heard of them before, but I like their philosophies. I especially like that TEF has no goals to meet, and there is no way to "beat" the game. There are lots of things I like about it actually.

After downloading the game, I was a bit confused for a while. At first I couldn't even figure out how to log in to my account in the actual game. Once I got that, I started misunderstanding things like thinking my fawn changing colors was a glitch, accidentally "shaking" off masks etc...

But now that I have it pretty much down, I REALLY like it. It's almost therapeutic for me. I love roleplaying, and this has such an intricate story line already set for it.

Plus the deer don't talk. That pretty much won me over.

what

I have no idea what i'm doing. I don't even know how to log in on the game. I find the page on the game but it never logs me in. First blog entry.... what. Cool

This is how badly I lapsed in TEF time recently. 2 months is a low enough amount of screenshots for one post. \o/
...the first 5 are all there is for July in fact. Good lord.

Gonna blame this lapse in posing on my recent lapse in playing. >>;

A silence in butterflies

Hey guys! Just doing my annual swing in, but I've come to a point in my life where I need something, I'm not sure exactly what but my life has been feeling SO bleak. I'm not unhappy but I just need that spark back. You guys know, that Forest spark. So I'm going to try and get back in the swing of things, and I love writing and reading. So feel free to interact! I'm bringing my main back from her slumber, a restart if you will! Hope you enjoy!

A doe, with a dark and vibrant pelt sits among the monarchs she feels at home with. They dance in the sky, while their featherlight wings sing a tune of pure silence that only the attuned can hear. It seems as though time has stopped, and she doesn't know how long she has been sitting here. Hours, days, perhaps years have been spent wasting away in her own mind. Or has time really been wasted? Sometimes time in thought makes the mind sharp and intuitive. Sometimes the butterflies take a break from their dancing and rest upon her for hours. Days. Perhaps years...
Days...
Hours...
Years..
The doe startles out of a trance so deep she is not entirely sure where she is at. The world around her is not a surprise: ambient sounds of birds and grass and butterflies looming around her, but it is herself that makes the breath inside of her catch. There is a bleakness inside of her mind she cannot understand. Something dark and sad and confusing. She does not know when one memory starts and another ends, much like the forest she resides in.

Unfamiliar voices and bellows echo through the breeze.

Where has the time gone? When did the time end that she could recall her past memories?

The doe glances around at her all too familiar surroundings, and tries to remember when it felt like home.

New in the Forest

Hello everyone. As you may have guessed, I am a new member to this community of enchanting deer. I come from the world of Feral Heart, and known there as Lady Alizarin. Some people there said some good things about the Endless Forest, so I decided to give it a try... just to experience something new. Unlike Feral Heart, I noticed that there is no chat to communicate with. That's fine with me. I've only played on the game for a few days, and I must say... it's a beautiful game with very creative deer characters. Whoever came up with these deer designs really had a good imagination.

A bit about myself~ I do have a liking for animals, I like RPG games, MMORPGs, online communities, blogging, and so on. I do like roleplaying, especially on RPGs about animals. I've never really played one that was based around deer. So I decided to come here to try it out.

Anywho, I look forward to meeting some new people, making friends, and enjoying my time here. I hope to meet many of you out in the forests.

Yours Truly, Lady Alizarin Ooh
