[Taken from an RP between Honeyfur and myself: a short scene of Seed and Sage's reunion after quite some time.]

A green stag sat under the willow at the mouth of the river, watching the flow of the water. As always, he was pretty much caught in his own head – he didn’t even notice the arrival of a bright scarlet doe until she was almost upon him and snapped a twig underhoof.
Seed turned to see Sage as she emerged from the opposite side of the willow tree. His golden eyes brightened; his heart fluttered, caught on a million different feelings with iridescent wings. It had been perhaps half a year since he had seen her last. Maybe more. And the sight of her was still enough to drive any other thoughts from his head.

"My goodness! It's...Really wonderful to see you again." There was a smile on his face, slightly brittle and nervous – but at least the words that leave his mouth then are warm and sincere.

"And you," she said, the brightest of smiles pulling up the corners of her mouth. "I must apologize for leaving on such a whim, and without a word.." Her voice trailed off slightly, feeling guilty for any worry she might have bestowed upon him. However, she scooted closer, closing any small gaps that were between them. "I missed you, Seed."

His face collapsed into a big, unrestrained smile, completely without the forethought to give it grace. He couldn’t help it, even as his thoughts turned to the weighty matters he left unsaid.
"I missed you, too. I...More than you know." He took a deep breath and squared his shoulders, his expression serious. "I thought of you often...And...I realized, and thought it too late, that there was something very important I wished to speak with you about. May we?"

Her heart fluttered at his statement, smile growing slightly in size.

Update September 29th, 2013: I turned into DOE-OH, I turned into a DOE-OH, I turned into a DOE-OH WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I woke up today and everything looked weird and I went to the pond for a drink and there was a PELT AND ANTLERS WITH FLOWERS AND I'M A DOE NOW!!!! (Yes, I am a DOE with ANTLERS because I LIKE THEM. And I'm still a DOE.)

Now I can judge pinecone eating contests and walk around like a stately doe and stuff and say things to fawns like: "Back in my day we didn't have things called pinecones or mushrooms. In MY day we had to survive by eating each others flesh. And [i]that young fawns is why you see zombie deer - because THOSE are the people we ate back in my day!" >8'D

Being a doe is AWESOME! I got to play with the other fawns and for once there was something SMALLER THAN ME! (They are usually HUGE compared to me because I was so small. And big deer were like MEGAdeer... and the big zombie deer would have been like godzilla!)

(I wonder if back in the old days we actually ate our gods and that is where the big zombie deer came from....)

Loves the water, lives in it when she has control. Moody and short tempered. She still tries to get back in her own body, so she tries to drown herself.
History: Nyla and Myla were born as rare twins. Nyla was always trying to please her parents, while Myla was always the rebel. Life couldn't be better, until disaster strikes as it always does. Myla had been sneaking away to explore, and one day wanted Nyla to come with her. After a lot of pestering, Nyla gives in and follows Myla into the darkness the next night. As they trek out, Nyla sees creator hill and goes up to have a quick pray as their parents taught. Myla watches with distast,a fatal move. Nyla worries for her sister, but continues to follow her. They reach the pond, and they look into it. Myla tells Nyla her theory about the pond that if you went in you went to another realm. Myla jumped in, running to the deepest part of the pond. Nyla motioned to come back franticly and panicked when Myla disapeared underwater. Nyla watched for several minutes, expecting her sister to pop up and laugh at her. Nothing happened.

I've been on here for a day now, and I have to say I'm loving. I think I've figured everything out, I'm just worried how I'm going to remember who is who in the game. Everyone seems nice and friendly. I appreciate it, I really do. Feel free to comment any tips.

Alrighty, here's my adventure so far:

I first came across The Endless Forest on this site (The Endless Forest Community), which I had been linked to from Google search. I was looking up cervine unicorns, and the first result was this post: http://endlessforest.org/community/very-cervine-unicorn'
I saw that everything here seemed very interesting, so I researched the game a bit, and found out a lot more about Tale of Tales. I'd never heard of them before, but I like their philosophies. I especially like that TEF has no goals to meet, and there is no way to "beat" the game. There are lots of things I like about it actually.

After downloading the game, I was a bit confused for a while. At first I couldn't even figure out how to log in to my account in the actual game. Once I got that, I started misunderstanding things like thinking my fawn changing colors was a glitch, accidentally "shaking" off masks etc...

But now that I have it pretty much down, I REALLY like it. It's almost therapeutic for me. I love roleplaying, and this has such an intricate story line already set for it.

Plus the deer don't talk. That pretty much won me over.

I have no idea what i'm doing. I don't even know how to log in on the game. I find the page on the game but it never logs me in. First blog entry.... what.
