Antics 8-14 and 15-08

Beware, Forest-dwellers, for the "invasion" has grown to a grand scale.

That's right.

The calamity known as Toefat "the Tophat Deer" has...dun dun dun...

GROWN UP.

And, in celebration...

There was pole-dancing.

In the foreground, we see Toefat #1 dressed as Scape. On the right, the second Toefat - in the "official" set - is attempting to shield an unknowing fawn from things that are a bit too.."adult" for young eyes to see. XD

Zoom out and..

The Old Oak's branches make the perfect curtain.

Soon, the Scape clone Toefat was "traded out" in favor of the real Scape.
We almost formed a "BLT" sitting line. 8D But the L got up. >.>

Then Scape fell asleep, and awoke to find that Seed had sat down n the line.
It had been awhile...so commence the running, forming of carousel deer, and tree-dancing!

CHAPTER SIX ~An Epic Story~ --ILLUSTRATED!!--

"Attention!" An old female deer called the Cave of Does to order. She looked at each one of them. "As you have probably already found out, we have had four members struck by the Red Plague. Emiva was one of them, our leader, and now I must resume the spot of leader to this group." She paused, "As well as Mio, Lacey, and Sykora. There will be a service for the dead tonight, so please come prepared." she cleared her throat. "I also say that under no circumstance may a deer leave camp without another with them at all times." She looked to Martisol, who cringed under the old crone's stare. "Is that understood?"

"Yes" The does replied together.

The old female deer took a moment as she stood on the rock to look at each of the deers faces. "That is all" She said finally, and walked away.

Isis, among the other does who had been listening, looked over to Martisol, who was standing alone by herself, just standing there. Ever since it... had happened, she no longer wanted to play with the other fawns. All she had was an abnormally large pinecone which she carried around with her.

Isis walked slowly over to the little fawn. "Whats wrong, Mari?" She knew what was wrong, but, well, it seemed the only way she could think of to start a comforting conversation.

The little fawn didn't look up. She just stood there... looking down at her pinecone.

"Oh Martisole," Isis murmered. She nuzzled the little fawn gently. "Come on, night is here, you must go to sleep now." She nudged the little fawn to her feet, and picked up the pinecone in her mouth while guiding Martisole to her sleeping place with the other fawns. She dropped the pinecone beside the fawn. "Sweet dreams, my little one" Isis whispered, nuzzled, and retreated.

Isis let the cold air surround her. She was alone, yes, but she was within ear and eyeshot of the Cave of Does, so she figured she would be fine. The moon was looking down at her, and the stars twinkled. She needed some thinking time.

Castle Grand;; a poem by Anzel

So I felt myself melt
For the very first time
With my fur all ablush
With my heart, true and fine
And a smile graced my cheeks
'Til my mind cut me short
And it pushed it all away away
Out to sea, all deport

For the ghost is a ghost
And I am I
And solely must I bear
Nights of sorrow, nights of cry
I'm confused, I am lost
Do I know, do I not
Wash away, castle grand
Lay there barren, broken spot

Whee. *watches birdies fly around head*

I just woke up.

I overslept.

It was one of those very long dream sequences that you remember, but you can't remember what in the world it was about.

Anyways, if I seem halfway insane, it's because my head is pounding, my eyes are having trouble focusing, my throat itches, yeah...

I am -so- not a morning person x3

Divine Abandonment - Chapter 5

Note - This chapter mentions several countries and is not intended to criticize, mock, or otherwise insult them or anyone who lives in them. I tried to go through each country with little detail to prevent this.

The message hung in the air for a few seconds before the deer took in the reality - they were going to leave their sanctuary. None could believe that the Twin Gods had abandoned them, but they could not speak up.

Magnet nodded, "It's settled then.", he said to Silent and Laruna. The deer slowly began to group up, finding the pictograms they knew so they could walk together. Some of the others began to call out in random directions, attracting any other deer to the area, letting all who weren't present know that something was going on...and that they would be left behind if they didn't come.

Quad closed his eyes. He couldn't believe that any of this was the Twin Gods' doing, but he, too, wondered if they had any part in the events that led to seven deaths in the Forest. Something touched him on the side, and he opened his eyes and saw Christine petting him. She seemed a little scared. He nuzzled her and told her what was discussed.

"Don't worry about the deer.", he said to her, "They know not to hurt you. Besides, you've got me here, I won't let any of them harm you." He looked around for Creek, who had vanished into the crowd. About that time a few of his friends came out of the crowd - Scape, Quamar, Rev. Jelly, and Trois. The five discussed the situation in the deer language, Quad occasionally turning to Christine and letting her know what they said.

Bright Eyes - Chapter Seven

Hi everyone, finally I finished chapter seven! I think this was the hardest chapter, because I didn't want to repeat to much of HF. Again, I picked the most important pieces and added them. I just hope it looks alright. I have the feeling the quality isn't as good as it used to be...

Have fun reading it anyway!

P.S. Skokey, I hope I got your characters right. Skokey isn't that hard though, because I just copied and pasted from HF. Hope you don't mind, but it was the best way...

CHAPTER SEVEN

It had been another few weeks and Fenqua tried to let Skokey socialize with the other deer. After spending so much time alone, she thought it would be good for him to meet some new friends. Most deer weren’t very pleased to see him, listening to all the words that were spreading. Some of the deer even said he beat up his mother, who left him when he was a newborn. Thanks to his reputation, it was hard for him to make a good impression.
But, one of the stags didn’t seem to care and they had a long conversation with each other.

The next morning, a gentle breeze awoke Skokey from his sleep. He noticed Fenqua was still asleep, so it had to be early. He decided to get up anyway and dipped his head to graze. A butterfly that was circling around his head tried to land on his nose, but took off every time he moved. After a while he spotted something in the distance, a young fawn that had almost reached adolescence. He slowly walked over to her as she came closer. The fawn had large, sad eyes and ears hanging below her chin. Her face was wet and her tail was slowly sawing from side to side. Skokey looked at her black eyes, but she soon looked down again.

‘Hi…’ she said very quietly.
‘Hi.’ he replied, bringing his head to her level. ‘What’s the matter?’
She stared at him for a while and suddenly noticed his pictogram. ‘Skokey… my brother.’
