I just want to let everyone know that im going to be gone for a while because my main computer isnt working, I may be able to talk on the site some times but i have to sneak onto my parents computer.

main point, i may be gone from the forest for quite some time D|

I've always felt I should write a poem about the birch forest birds. They're perhaps my favorite animal in the forest -- they're much more sociable than the other little creatures (except, perhaps, the dragonfly), and so often unnoticed. This is the first, and will probably not be the last.

H'okay, well a lot of people have been making their deer in Sims, so I couldn't resist. |D I'm using Sims2.

I did have a load of screenshots, but unfortunately, I had to delete my deer and house and start again. Which is good, because I get to build the house properly (it was just thrown together before) and because I had more time, all the deer that ought to be related, are.
For now, I only have the 'Family Shot'. More screenies will definitely come later!


Funny, the program got their poses mostly accurate. xD Iranu in the brown jacket, Uvavu being a poser on the floor (they're not related to the other deer, only to each other. I made them roomies), Liëka in the black suit being all composed at the back, Troll in the green sort of awkwardly standing there, FIU (in the red) and (in the purple) looking quite comfortable with each other and generally happy.

NEW STUFFS. I'm now aware just how tiny some of the screenies are, and I've changed it to take better ones in future.

There was more fighting today...

This time it was between Virgil, whom I deeply respect, and another stag whom I have never met.

I don't know what was going on. I didn't see who attacked first. All I know was Virgil suddenly seemed angry when this other stag appeared, and then they were clashing antlers. Several deer were around, but no one was doing anything. Well, I tried telling them to stop, but when they wouldn't listen, I tried getting in between them a few times. They ignored me. And, this time, I ended up being hit with a few stray blows. Well, I knew it was a risk... I don't care. It's only a few bruises. What bothers me more is that I couldn't stop the fighting. I've never seen Virgil act like that...

Virgil...why must you fight?
I hope they're okay...both of them...

There was another doe that got in the way a few times. I'm not sure what she was really trying to do. But that's not important.

I don't understand, why all this fighting? Why must deer fight each other? I don't see the purpose for it. Deer just get hurt. I don't see how it accomplishes anything.

And why...why can't all deer get along with each other? I used to think that everyone was happy, and...well, when I was a fawn, I never encountered anything like this. Is something happening? Have things changed, or have I just not noticed it before? How can these things happen in a place that's supposed to be a paradise?
And why does no one do anything to stop it?

The deer mentioned here are Virgil, Walter, and Taliene, who belong to their respective owners.

R'Dikjayhl go to be at his first event, this was the Gathering of Small Animals. The forest had a lot of small animals running around and/or getting shapeshift spells. Then Auriel came along and we had a party with stars, plants growing in circles, shapeshifting into minideer, candles and dancing! ^^


R'Dik also got to experience his first night and night+rain. He was thrilled at the dark Forest full of sounds he had not yet heard in the Forest. The scenery was really beautiful too.


At the Ruins I discovered this strange phenomenon. I saw many deer had candles so I went to investigate if I could find any. I saw this one deer get them from the Playground, but I couldn't see any candles. I went to the Ruins and saw one flame. No candle, just the flame. As I circled around it I found that from some viewpoints it didn't show while from others it showed. O__o


Gah the pics are all blurry because they are so small now. Oh well.

One can say there is such a moment of 'too much of a good thing'. *sigh* I'm heading out of the house, once again, to go on a quick one-week vacation with my family to the northern part of our state. One week's just not long enough to stay home an create a new deer! D:<
At any rate, I will be gone, and probably won't have computer access during that time.

Hey there ya'll. At any rate, I'm heading off to a horse camp for two weeks or so, and won't have access to a computer nor any technology. But that's what's fun about it, y'know?

It was a day of those in which there is nothing that to count. A doe and her fawn grazed to the edges of the Pond.
The small fawn, innocent and curious decides for a moment to abandon the proteccion divine of his mother, after be going to harass a butterfly that caressed it since toward few minutes.
The Greats Twin Gods, in a sudden attack of boredom, decide to sink to the Endless Forest in a thick fog.
When the fawn fell in the account, he was defenseless and alone in the middle of the Forest, shouted aid, but nobody listened it. With the light of his picto as only sign, the fawn illuminated timidly each movement that he listened.
The fear was only his company, to be been quiet him caused panic, with the to ululate of the owls and the howls of the wolves, the small fawn did not have possibility of peace. While more wolves howls, the mind of the fawn only was able to expect the worse thing. of their friends, the fawns, listened to relate zombie deer's stories that awaited in the fog. The timid mind of the fawn, not able to breathe of the fear and the anguish.
-Where it is mom?.- was asked to himself.
After some bushes to be moved, the fawn rotated on himself agile.
-Will be a wolf? -His mind roared without hope to return to the maternal heat. - -will be a zombie deer?-
Upon illuminating the moving bush, a colony of bats was thrown on the small fawn. -MOOOOOOMIIII!!!!- the small one roared. Running what its legs yielded him. themselves internal even more in the Great Forest. The bats without ceasing hounded it. A white sudden Light illuminated to the annoying creatures. the fawn hill the eyes before the magnitude of the Light.
As soon as the Light ceased. the fawn sought distrustful the reason of the sparkle. He saw weakly the silhouette of a Sylphide.
-Who you are you?- asked timidly.
- ... - The Sylphide did not answer.

To recap -

Last night, I was playing TEF, and I decided to go do something else for a while, so I x'd out
using the action strip's x, and then came back a bit later.
To find that it won't open properly.

When I double-click on my desktop icon, I get a popup window that appears and dissipates
SUPER fast, and then of course, the tab on the bottom opens. I run in windowed mode, so I wait
for a few, and since I generally have no problems with TEF loading { My computer is a beast
and can handle uh... I think 27 TEF's is its limit. } and so I wait longer. I have Vista, so I hove
rover the tab in the bottom - and see it loading!
But no window ever pops up.
The tab / window tab in the quick launch bar for Vista is there, and like I go into depth below, I
can play in it - connecting and seeing other deer.
But no window pops up, and I play in windowed mode.

I can interact and play in the bottom hover-window, which is quite odd, actually. I can tell you
it's raining in the forest right now, just from that.

I did nothing in-between that would have caused this, so I'm really at a loss.

I tried many things to remedy the problem.

Downloaded AVG's free trial with maximum security, and scanned for viruses. I'm scanning
again as I type to see if it's a virus.
Then I uninstalled and reinstalled, that didn't work.
Rebooted my computer as well, still not working.
This morning I tried running as administrator, and that gives me a full-screen version, and it
flashes constantly the quick launch buttons beneath it and certain parts of the browser or
whatever I have behind it. Very annoying, really, so I -could- play as that, but I don't think I'd
want to.
I also tried running the settings window - and discovered as I put up prior that it is the exact
