[Resource] Free Creative Commons Photos for your Layouts

Here's the deal: There's a lot of gorgeous images on the web that would make for great layouts. However, most of those photos are protected by copyright, and while you're probably highly unlikely to get sued, it can still happen and it's also very disrespectful to the original creators of the work you're using.

So if you're anything like me and a fan of having gorgeous photos as a main part of your CSS layouts - or you just don't have layoutworthy personalized art available - this is a huge saving grace.

Pexels is a database for stock images that are completely free for both personal and commercial use. You can modify them in any way you want and there's no need to credit.

You can search by specific topics or browse by color scheme. There's some fantastic possibilities and the pictures are very high quality.

So basically, you get the best of both worlds: Beautiful pictures and completely legal!

https://search.creativecommons.org/ - The official Creative Commons search lets you search multiple platforms for CC-licensed images. I definitely recommend searching through flickr since that's what I have been using thus far. Pexels just has that extra bit of quality.

Be respectful towards fellow artists. Don't infringe their copyright!

COMMISSIONS

I was unsure about doing this since I didn't have much luck the last time I tried, but things have gotten bad money-wise for my family. And my job keeps cutting down hours. I may need to find somewhere else to go if it keeps up. =/

Anyway, on to the "meat and potatoes" of this post.
All prices are in USD.

Does a lazy deer pose for art?

Last night I saw a blue moon so it's time to post. Click images for full size. Hover for relevant text.

No, this isn't your computer, I constantly make ninja edits to this post because I suck at formatting.

Mostly just sketches in my school workbooks throughout the year. Lots of space there.
