Err... question..

..How do you log on more then one deer at a time? As in like.. make a clone of yourself. I see people doing it all the time.

I know everyone says 'omg it causes lag!!!!' I know. But I'm only planning to do this at less populated times of the day. I actually want to do it right now to spellspam myself. Lol. But yeah. Can someone tell me how... please? :c

If you'd rather not give out the 'secret' publically, you can email it to me (sablekat@ymail.com) or message it to me (msn: sablekat@live.com aim: nudistcat gmail: sablekat88@gmail.com)

Thanks. <33

Happy Birthday, Quad!

I haven't been online all day, but yesterday (the 15th) was Quad's 2nd birthday! I've officially been with TEF for two years.

I'll do something nice for Quad today since I was so busy on his birthday yesterday. Smiling

Edit - We're going to see Where the Wild Things Are tonight. This'll be great since Quad's my 'wild thing' XD

Sluggs

I'm curious..what's your average fps? How about during abios?
I've watched your videos and I'm jealous because I usually only get about 1-3 or 5-7 fps.
Are there any tips on how to improve gameplay, besides turning off reflections, our pictograms, and lowering nature detail/players we see?

Zelig's Diary - 15/10/09

Today I met the Great Dead Deer. Or the Big Zombie Dear as some folk like to say. You know who I mean- grey pelt a little on the rotten side, wide antlers, skull face, and /enormous/.

Well, I tried my best to get my Halloween costume in the customary way from him, but I suppose he found himself all out of magic, and vanished just before I could try. I was left with half a pelt and antlers, but no skull. Ah! Well. There will be other times.

My day was vastly improved by the inclusion of Dag, Fay, and a little troop of undead deer and fawns. We sacrificed our holiday guises for a trip into the pond. Dag was very kind to allow me another one of my dizzy spells, and when I got to my feet I was suddenly- Blue! with yellow spots! I thanked him graciously when he then gave me the same brown spotty number that I had some few days ago. I stuck with that for the rest of the day.

Dag retired to sleep, rather reluctantly. I wanted to do the same. So I moved my achy frame to a flower bed, and settled amongst the butterflies.

When my eyes drifted open, she appeared- Lady Gwen at my side! Not in her usual appearance, but looking quite a bit plainer. We immediately set off to rectify this with a little spell adjustment. In return she gave me my accouterments back.

But the magic was in the quiet moment we shared, just sitting side by side. Weary as I was, I stood by her side and kept a bit of a look out- I know she likes to have someone guarding her. Tiredness overtook me, and I sat close beside her, my fur mingling with hers. Before I knew it I had put my head down, and was dosing again. She did not move a muscle, and I sighed a very big sigh of relief, and napped for a while, waiting to see if she would also lay her head down beside mine.

Theatre Troop! *actors, writers, poster artists- helping hooves required!*

*Altering this to include participants, cast, etc.*

We have Seed the Bard, Iaurdagnire the Wise, who respectively write lovely poetry and prose. We have a game, with a host of actions, reactions, and combos to create a vivid dialog without text, and we have a creative player base.

Let's make a deer acting troop!

=The Plan=
We will use pelts, masks, antlers+adornments, and other spells as 'costumes'. We will put a 'play program' on the community website in the form of a blog post, with poster and information of showing times, naming the characters and who they're played by, and a little about what happens in the story.
We could redo works of Shakespeare, or collaborate on our own tales!

=Who's Involved?=

Cast (deer names):
Zelig
Oberon
Adonis
21
(Ocean's deer)

Research:

Writer(s):
Seed(? or did you want to act?)

Artistry:
21 (possibly =D)

Stage Hooves:

=Current Projects=
None =P

Can I ask everyone to make little roughshod applications for your deer for this? I don't need to know much, but you should know that it's likely you'll need a fastish computer to be able to be an actor in the forest. Just stick something in a reply, like your deer's name if they want to be an actor or writer, or your own info if you'd like to volunteer by designing posters for the event, or provide artistic interpretations of how the plays would look (ie if you're an artist) Or what have you.

I had an idea for the troop's first production: Orpheus and Eurydice, also known as "Orpheus in the Underworld". It's where Orpheus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orpheus) goes into the underworld to find his wife, Eurydice, after she dies. He finds her, and pleads with Hades to let her go, and he allows them to leave, on the condition that Orpheus could not look at Eurydice until after they reached the surface. Unfortunately, he looks, and Hades whisks her away again.

The Lightbringer Code/Poem

.Forgive the bumps!
.

.
.
.
Let me be,
In every way,
Giving and respectful.
Honorable and
Tolorant; to
Be a soldier for Right
Right what is Wrong.
Inscribe the Light upon faces of Stone.
Never will my peace fail me.
Great and just are
Ever those who bear the light, and
Righteousness shall be thy name.

Just a little something I came up with for the Honorable Lightbringers. Lightbringers, feel free to use! <3 <3

Big Zombie Deer Etiquette, lest we forget!/bump'd

It's that time of the year again!! And as a TEF oldie I can shake my cane at you wippersnappers and suggest a few things. Namely, when dealing with the BDZ, it is much appreciated if you cast your respective spells and then remove yourself from his immediate side if other deer are trying for spells. Too much crowding means spells go array and while sometimes this is fun, I think that those fellows around the big guy have the same goal in mind as you do. To put it simply, take turns, or something.

And fawns, I hold you especially accountable! The Halloween season is a great time to learn more about the forest, but even the young and naive need to learn the rules of respect Smiling!

/end short rant.

and some pretty zombie scenes for the sake of showing them off!
