hey can anybody help me? how do u use forest magic? it is driving me crazy that i cant change other deers color!


PLEASE HELP ME! IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY

As beautiful and peaceful as the forest was, it was time for me to leave and evaluate where I was going, what my purpose was and it had become increasingly obvious that I was not going to find the answer in the trees soothing shade or praying to the twin gods. So as I stepped out into the world I look a long glance back over my shoulder at the sanctuary I was leaving behind and after a moments reflection carried on walking.

I would look back again and again in the weeks to come and poke my nose into the dappled light but still it was not right for me to return, not yet. Things were still far too complicated as I said goodbye to my father and my uncle and I found myself distracted by any number things and people that needed my attention elsewhere.

But now it seems right that I should return and re-enter the forest a stronger and more world wise creature than before. I miss my old friends and can't wait to find new ones. I hope I was not forgotten completely and in turn that I can remember those that remember me. It seems a lifetime ago in many respects that I could play happy and carefree in the trees ignoring the wider world.

Keep an eye out in the forest for me...

Monday will be the first day of a four-week long camping and hiking trip. It's a requirement for my graduation called 'Field Geology', more commonly known as 'Field Camp'. It's a summer course where we go out to Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona doing mapping projects - basically looking at the structure of the geology out there and then putting it down on a map.

Yes, we actually use colored pencils. (Which it's strange that you actually cannot find any at Wal-Mart of all places.)

Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that after Monday, May 10th, I will be on this trip and will have little access to the internet. I may occasionally get to jump on someone's laptop, but for the most part I'll have to limit my time to e-mail and Facebook.

And yes, I will be taking a lot of pictures, and I will show them on here. This will be my first time ever in the southwest United States. I've been to Washington state but we flew there, so I never was really 'in' the states we flew over. I've been to San Antonio, Texas, but never past there, so it'll be a first to be in New Mexico and Arizona.
