Recent events

"It was a rainy day when a young fawn made his way into the forest. His fur was soaked and the poor thing looked absolutely miserable. Alone, he called out for anyone who would listen. His ears flicked nervously, listening to the few sounds the pouring rain didn't cover. The few deer he met were laying under thick trees, keeping the rain. He wasn't brave enough to go share the shelter with them, and kept walking. The fawn spent his time searching for a shelter...but found a family instead."

Zach is really new to the forest but he has already managed to find a whole lot of friends. For that, he is very grateful. The forest is new and scary - it's good to have adults around to hide behind if the need should arise. The poor fawn was all alone when he first arrived, but has since then found himself an adopted family. He hasn't met everyone just yet, but he's working on it.
He also met a slightly younger deer at the forest's edge and lured him into the forest as well. They've been hanging together ever since. That deer, he learned, was known as Niki.

• Doesn't like Zombie deer - they scare him. Therefore, he tries to stay out of their way.


• Being still. There's always something do to around the forest - there's no time to nap!


• Being alone. If he's alone, he gets scared very quickly and tries to find someone to be with.

Family:
Zach has no biological family of his own, but upon entering the forest he met a deer named Virgil. Virgil soon became very close to Zach and soon later he was pretty much adopted into Virgil's family. And boy, was it a big one. The little fawn was all alone, and now it seems he's surrounded by half the forest! The adopted family is big, and I'm going to only add the ones here who Zach has met. I will be updating this later on.
(If I have met your character and it's part of this family, let me know. Poor Zach's mind is buzzing with new deer, he can't remember every encounter, despite that fact that he tries his best.)

History

Zach is very quiet when it comes to his past. He hasn't said a word about it since the moment he came into the forest. He must've had parents somewhere but he entered the forest alone. It is very likely that they have met a rather unfortunate end sometime before his arrival. His fear/dislike of Zombie deer may have something to do with this matter as well. He has refused to explain. More will probably be revealed with time.

Personality

Zach is social, playful, and always eager to meet and greet new deer. Although, his way of greeting someone new usually involves running around them until they're dizzy. Some, like his half brother Lucian, have already described him as "hyper". It is not too far from the truth. ("Hey!") He's curious about pretty much everything and everyone and doesn't really hesitate to approach complete strangers to say hi. If you see a fawn running past you at top speed or running circles around you to get you to play, that's probably Zach.

Despite this cheery, greatly curious outlook on life, there is a slightly different side to Zach as well. It doesn't usually show unless he's alone. When that happens, he easily gets distressed and scared. At times like these it is very common to hear him calling out - to try and hear if anyone he knows is around to keep him company.

Zach tries to hang around Virgil whenever possible. The little fawn has taken a liking to his adopted father and his big brother Lucian. They're strong, kind, protective and fun to play with - he wants to be just like them when he grows up. With them, he is determined to learn everything he can about the forest and it's peculiriarities. So..if you come across Virgil, little Zach is probably not far away either. ("Unless dad is sleeping..then I'm off exploring!")
