Related to the Rock Hound Event. Anyone can join in this (but please it it draw out a little rather than coming up with an immediate solution. I want it to be fun ), and your goal is to figure out a way to cure Quad of the infection.

I'll put Quad's reaction in every now and then but otherwise you're welcome to write what he does in what you write for the story. If you need tips on how he will behave while infected, refer here under the section "Symptoms (post-zombification)". Quad will be very slow and clumsy, though, and yes, please include frequent farting and drooling when you describe him

The Grand Talux stole away during the night. He had a plan. He didn't tell anyone of this, but he just had to do it. It would be the first time he had ever defied the Twin Gods.

Quad looked around for the rock hounds. He knew they were hunting for him, and this time, he had no intention of fighting them.

Quad was going to give himself up and let them do as they pleased. He hoped the plan would solve the dilemma of the rampant rock hounds attacking his friends and the other deer of the Endless Forest. He felt extremely guilty that several deer had been killed at the hands of Iugulare...including his brother. He just wanted to make things right, he wanted the Forest to be safe again for them.

Quad would not realize what a foolish mistake he was making.

He went deep into the birch forest, where the old Playground rocks were. There he spotted a small group of Iugulare's rock hounds - an orange-eye leading a red, blue, and yellow.

I know how to turn liquids pink through titration in chemistry :3

But going by my actual occupation in geology, I know how water moves through the ground, how artesian wells work (by the way, De Drinkplaats would be an artesian well since it's always flowing), what a confining unit is and how it affects groundwater, uhh...how to tell the difference among an igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rock...uhh...the biology of some organisms found as fossils...yeah, lots of stuff.

We all have our ways of finding inner peace and lessening the turmoil that life hands us in buckets. The forest provides many avenues of doing this. The landscape is full of spiritual symbols from all religions. You can choose to ignore them, explore them, or meditate on your own. No matter which spot I choose the ruins look vaguely Christian and Gnostic, the playground's chakra stones, the lotus flower of Eastern thinking, the white figures on the hill , the large humming om sound tree for us druid's at heart and many more I sense the divine folly of our ways.
If I do not accept the other symbols and learn toleration I am a fool. If I insist on only one area of the forest being holy, I miss the beauty of all the others and I am a fool. If I bow down in worship to all symbols and do not choose a path, I am still a fool. No matter which line of thinking I take I am a fool in someone's eyes or perspective. We are all fools before God or gods.

Once this divine womanly Folly has her say she forgets it was ever said. Maybe life, and religion or no religion is not about the rightness of our ways but about our follies. God laughs and laughs and laughs. We are the ones in our foolishness think we are anything but fools.

Random Thoughts

Living in darkness, peeling my skin to reveal its mask. Dying all over again trying to escape my self inflicted pain. I reached out frantically to feel the others around.

My soul bleeding out and melting with others' to the point I couldn't recognize me.

Now I've run from the darkness, away from the cliff I was against.


All I have now is a life of regret. I ran so far away I'm now standing on the edge with my soul buried somewhere in the darkness. Numb to the pain.
