Anjali's Healing

Warning, slight graphic writing

Anjali tried to get to the Twin Gods' hill. He hoped there would be a cure there, or at least he could be pointed in the right direction.

He would never make it to the hill. The stag's labored breath overtook him, he stopped for only a moment to look at the deep wounds and infection the rock hound had done to him.

And at that moment, he collapsed. A small pool of blood formed where he lay. He could see the Twin Gods' statues. He was so close. He tried to call, but nothing came out.

He slowly closed his eyes, feeling the virus inch slowly across his body and start to go into the wounds. He didn't want it to end this way. He was so close...

Warmth. It came quickly. Was he dead? Or...he swore he just saw an angel. His eyes were blurred, the light was so bright and gleaming.

"You're going to be alright, Anjali.", the voice so familiar spoke to him, "You're going to be alright."

He opened his eyes, no longer where he was but rather he had been brought right up to the hill. There, he saw the Twin Gods themselves, doing everything they could for him. They only barely touched his skin, and the wounds healed on their own. The infection was long gone, Quad's light destroyed it earlier.

"Rest. You're body is healed but you're still going to feel pain. There is nothing we can do for that, but time will heal it.", Auriea spoke to him.

"Please, tell us what attacked you.", Michael requested.

The three listened intently as Anjali spoke what he saw - an invisible enemy, a rock hound...purple eyes...the fight was blurry to him.

He slept here. He was under the protection of the gods, they would not let anything hurt him any longer this day. Quad even stayed by his side, yet the Grand Talux lowered his head.

[=red]"This is my fault, Anjali.

New World.

The fawn woke in a sea of amber, gold, and green. It raised its tiny head and peered around through slitted eyes, pictogram glowing faintly between its huge ears. Hundreds of spots dotted the little deer's pelt, melting the fawn in to the surroundings. Blue smoke wafted to the sky not far off, and the sound of running water could be heard. The ears caught the sounds, down to the whisper of a dove's wings overhead. They became too much to handle, and the little fawn curled back up in to a small oval.

Tears stained the freckled, white cheeks of the little one as it now realized it was alone. They dripped down its face and on to the ground in soft, barely-audible clicks as it sobbed. The world was so big and bright, the fawn could not stand to stay in it, it thought. Terror caused it to cry out, leaving the safety of the tall grasses in search of a better place to hide from the terrifying world... little did the baby deer know that it was heading straight in to the heart of the Endless Forest and all of its little wonders.

A large, gray structure soon loomed over the little beast. Its heart beat as if a bird were trapped in its chest as it peered about, only finding sleeping beings. Not knowing what the beings were, the fawn thought it was safe. There were many places to hide, so the baby started with a bed of poppies. This was not enough protection. After several spots, the fawn settled down behind a tree, in an alcove of the ruins.

After a little bit of sleeping, two awake deer found the fawn. Big, green eyes were dazzled and terrified by their bone-faces as they tried to get the little deer to play. It drove off the strange creatures by lashing out with tiny, glass-like hooves. Upset. The second feeling the little deer had after Fear.

The fawn dozed off again in the innocent little curl fawns often do, unaware of the reality it was now facing. It was alive, and would have to come out of the alcove and enter the new world.

What's your favorite dog/cat?

Just curious.

My favorite dog is the Shiba Inu, and for cats, I would say Singapura.

Bored

USA Godzilla is in the TV, but is to boring to be watched. I can't find the perfect names I'm looking for, and Fae is missed in the forest. I'll go back to my empty trance of never-becomming-true daydreaming.

The Light Infected (Rock Hound RP)

Related to the Rock Hound Event. Anyone can join in this (but please it it draw out a little rather than coming up with an immediate solution. I want it to be fun Eye ), and your goal is to figure out a way to cure Quad of the infection.

I'll put Quad's reaction in every now and then but otherwise you're welcome to write what he does in what you write for the story. If you need tips on how he will behave while infected, refer here under the section "Symptoms (post-zombification)". Quad will be very slow and clumsy, though, and yes, please include frequent farting and drooling when you describe him Eye

------------------------------------------------------

The Grand Talux stole away during the night. He had a plan. He didn't tell anyone of this, but he just had to do it. It would be the first time he had ever defied the Twin Gods.

Quad looked around for the rock hounds. He knew they were hunting for him, and this time, he had no intention of fighting them.

Quad was going to give himself up and let them do as they pleased. He hoped the plan would solve the dilemma of the rampant rock hounds attacking his friends and the other deer of the Endless Forest. He felt extremely guilty that several deer had been killed at the hands of Iugulare...including his brother. He just wanted to make things right, he wanted the Forest to be safe again for them.

Quad would not realize what a foolish mistake he was making.

He went deep into the birch forest, where the old Playground rocks were. There he spotted a small group of Iugulare's rock hounds - an orange-eye leading a red, blue, and yellow.
