Seed's Poetry Corner: Beneath the Shadow of an Old Tree

Today, in the rain, I got to witness the planting, or perhaps birth, of a little fawn, and kept him company for a little while... While I was sitting in the rain, I dashed a little something off. I wasn't there for terribly long: is it really appropriate to show something like this, to have written something like this? W-well, regardless!

Beneath the Shadow of an Old Tree

We pry a hole from the mud
with the wet scraping of our hooves.
The tender seed, soft
with fuzz like a peach's skin.
Born in the rain, shivering, drenched
with no shield but those who gather near:

the perfect preperation
for the infinity of little gales
and cold tempests, for living
in the warm lee of friendship.

It's very simple - please draw me a doodle of a hermit crab! It can be realistic, it can be a pirate or a ninja hermit crab, it can be your deer coming out of a hermit crab shell, whatever. It can be very detailed or simple, crudely drawn or carefully sketched. I'd love anything and everything you come up with!

Please make it 150x150 or smaller in size, or...


This size or smaller

Also please just have a white or transparent background for it. I can work with both Eye

Please feel free to draw as many as you'd like, too! There's no limit to the amount you can draw, and I can use as many as are made!

ABOUT MYSELF

[=12]Dairus is Kurai's fawn name. As he grew up, he changed his name for unknown reasons. When he was still a fawn, he doesn't want to be left alone so when he sees a deer willing to be his friend, he follows it wherever it goes. But when he lost track, he will try to find another deer by barking but when he fails, he finds another deer. Kurai as a stag is a different deer. He now can be independent on his own. But some of his traits never gets old.

A little note about Baum

I plan for him to be a character that brings deer together. I want him to be someone that makes people gather around and just be friendly to each other, together. I want him to be known as someone whom, when in the forest, is very likely to have a crowd of deer around him that are welcoming to anyone who wants to be together in a herd.

I want Baum to be a deer that brings all of you together in one place.
