New Tradition.. Ayala's Red Deer Races..

Ayala is ten days away from adulthood. How about exercising some muscles?

Are you ready? It's almost time for Ayala to run for one hour along the racing circuit in the buff (red pelt). Come join us in the goal of making it twice
around the pond and stream before the red pelt wears off. Crying idol is the starting line for each lap. Dive into the crying idol to refresh your red racing colors as you try your luck.

Ayala's polishing her hooves! Watch her sparks fly! She's gonna rip! (Red.) Smiling

Ayala begins a new streaking tradition. The Red Deer Races!
New meaning to the phrase, blushing scarlet.

Racing begins nightly at the same time until Ayala grows up. She will begin at ten thirty US Central Standard Time. (GMT, 3:30 am)

If you see a red fawn running endlessly around the pond in circles, that's Ayala. She will be running continually on the racing circuit to see how many others join her. The crying idol is the finish line. Can you get twice all the way around before you lose your red pelt?

Ayala will be racing in the red from 10:30 CST US every night until her grown up buck day.

See you around the pond in scarlet. Smiling

First Experience

Remember when you where a Nameless/fawn? Remember when you didn't know anything about the forest, all you knew was that other deer were out there? Remember how excited you were when someone cast a spell of you, and then disappointed when it faded away? Remember when you made friends with new deer, danced and played?

On this blog, I want you to write your first experience on The Endless Forest. Not tell what happened write it as a story. Try to describe how happy or excited or even how upset or sad when you played the game. Write your first experience ever, when you first walked into the forest.

My first experience, under the cut~

Life Starts?....Or Death?

Chapter Two

A month has passed since the large buck came to Kurai, with the Sun no longer near blinding him, and the bucks pelt as black as night, he was finally able to catch the deers pelt colour. A midnight blue pelt, yellow markings forming in the shape of stars and his eyes, pure red, full of rage, and loyalty to the dark one known as Karanu. Since Kurai was picked up from the Buck, he hasnt started training yet, he was still to small and feeble, but he has leared a bit of the buck. Chi was his name, Chi, one of spilling blood and energy. Yet, though he has learned the bucks name, Chi refuses to speak of his past. His past as the Candle holder for the Dark ones, to light their way to victory in their devious plans.

Kurai, a young fawn of Greys and Whites, and now a bit of Peacock greens shining like silver on his back, slept the say away from high sun to dusk. As the sunset settled below the mountains of the land his mentor kept him so solitary in, the sky lit up with oranges, Purples, Blues, and Pinks. Not a cloud in site. As he slept peacefully the two month old fawn remained quiet. As Chi appeared into the land he had assigned his apprentice, he grunted to see him still sleeping. Lowering his large antlers he shoved them against Kurai. "Awaken!" He yelled, and with a jolt, Kurai flew up and looked around, his heart rushing like a raging river. "Darkness child my butt," he snorted and turned, "You dont even awaken when I ordered you to!" Shaking his head the large buck started off, expecting to be followed. Kurai gazed around, a bit dazed and slightly wounded, but he followed after anyway. "What are we doing today Chi?" He asked. Chi quickly turned and looked down onto the fawn, Kurai cringed at the glare, and the aura of disappointment glowing around the elder. "Rule one, you will /never/! Speak out of line!" He snapped.

If You Could Only See The Beast You Made Of Me...[Lacie]

...I held it in, but now it seems you've set it running free.

I suppose there are times where I must simply let go; to free myself from these chains, to surrender to instinct - to remind myself that I am, in fact, alive.

I suppose I am thankful that you’ve had a bit too much sugar today; we tear up the forest, you and I – never stopping for a single spot of rest. My eyes grasp the racing form in front of me that is you, brown sprinkled in white; you are an art form in motion, and I chase and I chase. I follow because I want to be with you – I chase because I want to hunt you, if only figuratively. I would never hurt you; you are far too precious to me – instinct can’t completely smother this heart of mine, now throbbing from the adrenaline, the lust, igniting my blood.

Don’t get the wrong idea; it is not you, per say, that I lust for. This is a lust born from a primal instinct; the lust for the thrill of chasing, reaching, grasping something. My blood is torrid in my veins, and I feel as if my body is searing with heat. I wonder if you feel the same; I can see the beads of sweat desperately clinging to your coat, only to fall as the wind strikes without mercy. I can see the way your muscles are rippling just under the skin; I can hear the reverberating in your chest as your breath escapes from your maws.

I can feel my lungs swelling and attenuating as I keep chasing, keep hunting. My heart is pulsating in my chest; it feels as if it’s about to burst from its cage. My tongue has but abandoned its spot tucked away in my mouth, choosing instead to hang out, trying to taste the air.

I once dreamt of this, you know. Though the one I chased was…different.
