Oh My Love, You Seem Different Now...[ Crybaby ]

...but you're the same.

Once, in a long line of legacies, Bylah had watched white things float about, little bits of snow.

He'd always liked the white - because it was so much of what he wasn't, something simple, sure, pure and clean.

Bylah had never thought himself unkind - he never thought of emotions like whittled worries, something stirring in his head, but...

Nine had been white. Nine had been the first innocent thing Bylah had found worth his while.

And now, now, he watched the white wither, fade - it reminded him of parchment paper, of the way the old man's eyes go rhummy.

And one day, a once white thing waltzed by, and

"'I like you calm, as if you were absent:
distant and saddened, as if you were dead.'
"

The deer paused, pondered, and turned his head to consider the horrific filth of the Beast.

Was that how the world saw him? As absent, gone? He cast the summer-sky of his eyes down, frowned, wondered what the world was coming to.

"I was absent," he agreed, well enough. "I was, perhaps, but the passing clouds.

"But now I am here - for here is where I need to be. What if I left my lovers? I'd rather be here, on the ground, than up high in the sky, leaving behind those that need me."

To Everyone who Posts Artwork:

After remembering this game a few hours ago, I decided to look around and create a new account. I wandered the forest, and found my way back to the art on the main page of the website. I would just like to say, I am not only astounded, but inspired by the art work. The ranging styles are amazing, and as a 14 year old, I am looking forward to studying deer anatomy and stray from drawing the usual canine. I would like to personally thank everyone who has uploaded artwork for inspiring, not only me I'm sure, but everyone. I will soon be posting my own artwork and I am looking forward to learning alot.

How exciting!

Hello!
I wanted to share my joy with you all today, this because...
Niccola finally grew up!
I'm really excited about finally being able to "dress him up", so to say!
If I dare be honest, the individualization of the deers is one of the things I enjoy the most in the game, apart from the interaction system, the beautiful environments and the open community~

Once I'm comfortable with his look, I will probably start writing down the story I've already created for him and will actually begin drawing him and designing his blog.

I hope to see you around in the forest!

A Dark Thunder (mature content)

"Cho, stop it!"

The younger stag gave one more try at ramming into Hungry before backing away and turning his head. His mother was behind him. Hungry, seemingly unphased by the fight at all, gave a small hop of what looked like excitement.

"Oh, Mint, it's you! How have you been, I haven't seen you in quite a while." He paused. "This is your mother, Cho?"

"Don't call me by my name, you piece of--"

"Well now, no need for that. You're boy here is quite strong for an adolescent, but I'm afraid not strong enough."

Mint took an angry but desperate tone. "I'm going to find a way into your home. You know I will."

"Do you even know where you came out?"

"Yes, it was under the bridge. Don't try to fool me."

Hungry grimaced. "Check again, dear."

Mint turned and trotted a small distance over to the bridge. Her eyes searched everywhere, but she could find no opening. None at all. Only mud and moss. In a panic, she ran over and tried striking the ground with her hooves to see if there would be any give in the earth. But there was none. The ground was solid here.

"Ahaha, you see? You were wrong. There was never any exit under the bridge."

"Then... why...?"

"Come come, my dear, you're probably just frazzled." Hungry tried walking towards her.

Cho immediately knocked him over. "Stay the hell away from her!"

Hungry got up and let out some kind of mix between a growl and a hiss. Before he could retaliate, however, something jumped out from the tall grass by the Idol and ran up to Hungry. It was Sin. He nuzzled up to his father's leg in protection and fear.

"Sin, what are you...? Did you find a way out? Clever boy!"

Cho looked at him in disgust. "What the hell is that?"

"This is my son, Sin. And I'd appreciate it if you kept the language toned down around him."

Mint came back over and stood beside her son.
