reference storage [ Q&Jim added ]

Somewhere to store all my goddamn references.

I use brown and gold way too much.

At Last...

I'm finally able to play TEF again. <3 I had some extreme tears welling up when I opened TEF and saw that sleeping deer at the start. I really missed this relaxing game. ;-;

It may not run as great as it did on my desktop and I may not have my deer's pelt, horns and mask anymore, but it sure as hell feels great to play again.

I guess it's time for me to figure out how the controls work again and see what's changed in the forest in the two years I've been gone. My old friends may be gone but perhaps I'll make some new ones who won't mind my 14 fps. |D

Whole new voice of the forest.

Have you ever tried this:

1) Change your audio settings - at least newer Windows versions has possibility to change overall sound effect that all the sounds sound like they've heard in concert hall, stone cave, arena, and what else, there are many possibilities. And also, frequency change (or whatever it is in different language versions) to rock, bass, pop, etc.

2) Play TEF. Sounds epic (alternatively just weird).

I have now "auditorium" and "rock" on. Suddenly all voices sound really awesome with nice echo.

where no light can travel :: deer biographies

OH GOD I'm making one of these again.

Any pictures giving will probably be sketches and are likely to remain that way. I don't have a lot of time to put too much effort into making a masterpiece for every deer, so I'll just give simple drawings that clearly depict how the deer looks.

Another note: The Hungry is the only deer I'm likely to play in Forest. The rest are for stories or roleplay.

The Hungry

Gender: Stag
Age: Adult (exact age is unknown)
Build: Thin and sickly, but surprisingly strong
Titles: The Hungry, The Glutton, Famine, Greed

[center]Information: The Hungry is a stag who has suffered drastic effects because of a curse. He was once happy, with a mate and child on the way. No one who knows how he was cursed remains alive, and he himself has forgotten.
The curse includes these effects: Absolutely no satiation, no matter how much he eats, and the inability to die of natural causes. Inert effects include those coming into contact with him without dying immediately seem to, more often than not, undergo extremely unfortunate events. These events are always linked to The Hungry in some way or another.
His curse has caused him to go mad. Instead of gorging on plant life like other deer, he has slowly turned to meat in desperation to eat more and more at one time. This started off as small birds and animals, but quickly grew to the need for fawns, and eventually full grown deer. He now refuses anything smaller than an adult deer. He will eat a deer in one sitting, only leaving out bones and diseased flesh, if there is any (tumors, cysts, warts, etc.)
Another cause of his insanity is sever lack of sleep. Starvation eating away at his body and the pain of withering away has kept him from falling asleep often.

a new legacy chapter 4

Nothing is Impossible
The sanctuary disappeared into thin air as Lady passed through barrier. It had been a few months since Lady began her training. It seemed tha very little had changed. Once again she spotted Herla and Gehirn curled up together inside the giant oak. Lady knew she shouldn’t eavesdrop, but she couldn’t help being within listening distance.
“Isn’t it wonderful? One more month and we will become parents.” She nuzzled the giant buck’s face. It was strange not to see the lively vivacious doe dancing around her mate, but if she was that far into her pregnancy she had to be careful.
“I can’t wait,” replied Gehirn as he nuzzled Herla’s face, “The twins will be beautiful.”
Twins? Lady thought, How wonderful! two new fawns in the forest! She chanted a blessing for the mother-to-be from behind an old snag. The spell would ensure the health of the mother and her children when the moment came, protecting them from the all-too-real dangers of childbirth. Neither Herla or Gehirn noticed the floating golden orb as it silently merged with Herla’s pictogram.
Now to restore the ruins. The visions from her dream and the spring showed her every detail of how the old temple looked, inside and out. It was no easy task reshaping the broken stones, cleaning the headstones, making sure the other deer stayed out of the area for their own safety, etc.
She sent out orbs of light to search the surrounding area for a suitable quarrying place. There was none in the forest, so she sent the orbs beyond the edge of the forest. Before long the orbs were cutting thick chunks of stone from a mountainside miles away, and carrying them effortlessly the entire way back. When the orbs returned, lady examined the stones for the best way to cut them into bricks that were the right shape and size. Lady let her intuition guide her magic, and cut perfectly shaped bricks with ease from the enormous chunks of granite.

Art for a pictogram? [gen2]

I'm looking for a generation 2 pictogram for a new character of mine, and I'm willing to trade multiple pieces of art for it, you can name the number but please, nothing too outrageous. I'm not overly picky about it's looks, but I'd like it to fit my character if possible. You can contact me at jeashelin@gmail.com or at my Skype; jeanx3507.

Stop And Smell The Flowers .:Fiore:.

This is a huge Work In Progress(Or WIP) of the biography for my predator deer/fawn; Fiore. One of the main reasons i'm posting it like this is to force me to make the bio quicker. xD I will be fiddling with the coding of this. If there is a problem, let me know immediately. Wish me luck!
