Fledermaus was born and raised as the second son of Eiche and Lily. He lived a quiet and secluded childhood, keeping mostly to himself as a result of shyness. His parents tended to favor him because of Masque's behavioral problems, but they still didn't spend much time with either of them. His brother constantly picked on him and bullied him, often resulting in injury, up until the point at which Fledermaus could no longer take it. He left the family without any warning and ran away to start life on his own. He found the Forest and lived there peacefully until Masque showed up and drove him off again, in which he spent weeks wandering around alone and scared to return. For years they have mostly managed to avoid each other until his brother fell extremely ill, at which time he decided to seek help for him and attempt to grow closer. Now that Masque is healed, they are on neutral terms with a prospect of becoming friends in the distant future.

Fledermaus is generally a quiet, composed, and polite deer. He was brought up with a strict education on acting properly and it has stuck with him; he will always greet and depart with a bow, uses discretion when approaching anyone, and is quick to retreat from a negative confrontation.

He is softspoken and courteous, but also a little awkward. He's a bit self-conscious and considers himself to be rather boring or unapproachable, but he is friendly to everyone he meets, albeit a little shy. He is happy doing whatever his company wishes to do, and never objects to anything.
His relationship with his brother is mostly kept under wraps, as he doesn't like talking about it and he doesn't want anyone to worry or pity him. He usually passes it all off as not a big deal, and reminds himself that there are others far worse off than him.

Most of the time, if not with friends, he will take long walks around and observe the happenings of the Forest, or simply sit and enjoy the serenity. When he sees someone he knows, he will approach and bow from a little ways off and join them if he senses that he is welcome to. He's not very good at buttonmashing and glitching, but he tries to if that's what everyone else is doing. Otherwise, he enjoys dancing, running around, and just being with friends. His friends and his mate, Wyvern, are what he values more than anything and wishes for nothing more than their wellbeing and happiness.

His facial features give him a gentle and kindly look, with deep brown eyes and matching hair which falls down over his forehead and above his eyebrows and sweeps to the side, and he wears a subtle goatee. His height is average and he is on the thinner side, and his antlers are slightly smaller than normal.

-His name is derived from the German word for a bat, though pronounced differently.

-Being in bat form always makes him a little more playful.

-He has never fought anyone, and he never roars.

-He takes great care when wading into the pond or being around it. The deep water frightens him and he will never get very close to the edge.

-While he doesn't mind changing masks, he greatly dislikes taking them off and he will quickly find one to hide his face if he loses it.

-If he quickly bows and runs off, this indicates that he feels out of place.

-He will always respond to someone interacting with him. If he doesn't it means his human is away momentarily.

-He very much enjoys anyone who comes over to keep him company.

-If he were human.

It was difficult. xD Well,

It was difficult. xD Well, just photoshopping them into diamonds was easy (using the custom shape tool on a new layer, selecting the inverse of it and deleting it). But formatting it to match up with the names underneath was hard, because I'm too lame at HTML. xD So I just use transparent "spacers" inbetween the names so that they line up with the thumbnail above it.
