Characteristics: His facial features give him a gentle and kindly look, with deep brown eyes and matching hair which falls down over his forehead and above his eyebrows and sweeps to the side, and he wears a subtle goatee. His height is average and he is on the thinner side, and his antlers are slightly smaller than normal.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Fledermaus is generally a quiet, composed, and polite deer. He was brought up with a strict education on acting properly and it has stuck with him; he will always greet and depart with a bow, uses discretion when approaching anyone, and is quick to retreat from a negative confrontation. He is softspoken and courteous, but can also be a little awkward.
He's a bit self-conscious and considers himself to be rather boring or unapproachable, but he is friendly to everyone he meets, albeit a little shy. He is happy doing whatever his company wishes to do, and hardly objects to anything as he can find fun in any activity. His friends and his mate, Wyvern, are what he values more than anything and wishes for nothing more than their well-being and happiness.

Enjoys: Spontaneity, fawns, the first forest, observing, taking walks, being silly, dancing, changes of weather, fireflies, chasing bats, sitting quietly with a friend

Dislikes: All bodies of water, hot weather, discontentment, witnessing fights, mushrooms

Kumiko's sorry if she made

Kumiko's sorry if she made Fledermaus feel uncomfortable. She's taken it upon herself to try to meet new deer and Fledermaus is one of the deer she's always wanted to meet but never did.

I had seen a few blog posts before where it was mentioned that he was lonely. So she thought that maybe inviting him to a group gathering might help. She didn't meant to come off so strongly...

No, no, it's not that at all! I really appreciated your efforts; it's just that he has become very nervous around everyone upon his return and I just can't play him properly. And whenever I feel like I'm screwing everything up, I just log him out and try again later. I apologize for being confusing or distant, I'm working on bringing back his personality.

I understand, if I would have known that, I would have had her ease up a bit. I guess she just got too caught in trying to meet new deer that she lost her sense of manners.

Perhaps one day when Fleder understands himself a bit better, she can try again. And if he ever does begin to feel lonely, she's willing to just linger around. Typically, she's not a strong as she was today. XD

She's just trying to make herself feel a bit better because someone she cherished is leaving her...Again...To an extent...

CM: It's no worry, he's just afraid of Masque because he nearly drowned him. He's forcing himself to get over it, though. But because of that he kind of acted embarrassingly uncivil to Rowan and Kumiko the other day and now he feels awful about it.

Gah, I have to apologize for

Gah, I have to apologize for how boring Wyvern must have been today. I noticed that Fled decided to sit next to her some time ago, along with Shyla and some other deer, but I closed my eyes for a moment myself and soon fell asleep by accident...I just woke up a few minutes ago. ^^; Daylong trips to reptile shows are a lot of fun, just exhausting. Perhaps they can meet up again some time soon. ^^ I promise to break this habit of crashing and burning at the computer after busy days. XD
