Our Mission: To make The Endless Forest an even better place by welcoming strangers, newcomers (fawns), and guests (nameless deer).

YOUR GOALS

~Join
~Take screenshots of you helping/playing with fawns or nameless deer. These pictures are worth points, for which you will be rewarded!
~Attend a Lightbringers gathering approximately once a month
~Help TEF become even more hospitable!

TARGETS

Take pictures of your deer at play with nameless deer, or fawns.
Nameless Deer: 10 PTS ( if you get two together its 20PTS. You may only submit ONE screenie of you with a nameless deer a day!)
Fawn: 5 PTS (likewise, you will not be awarded points for multiple pics of the same fawn)

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

1. Submit ONLY ONE (1) SCREENSHOT PER DAY per member, please!
2. Only submit clear, unedited pics of you and other deer. Cropping or resizing to save space is okay!
3. For Fawns - Be sure to get a clear shot of the fawn's picto (if available) as no points will be awarded for two pics of the same fawn.
4. Make sure that the pic is clearly of your deer interacting with others. Points will not be awarded for pictures of your deer with a deer who is sleeping or otherwise plainly inactive to a casual observer.

REWARDS

POST YOUR PHOTOS TO THIS BLOG, WHERE YOUR POINTS WILL BE TALLIED
Rewards are as Follows:
50 PTS- A cute badge picture of your charrie
100 PTS- Title of 'Lightbringer' and a 'Lightbringer picture'
150 PTS- Request drawing
200 PTS- Title of 'Lightworker' and a 'Lightworker picture'
250PTS- A poem about your character.
300PTS- Title of 'Lightcreator' A full fledged picture colored and finished of your character. (ONLY ONE per person!)

~Show fawns the magic of the forest, cast spells on them, and play!
~Show nameless deer the landmarks, and play!

Custard: Absolutely! The Endless Forest is a very friendly place, to be sure. Yet we have had some players (especially new players but not necessarily just new players) who have felt isolated or left out. The Lightbringers just want to make sure that Every deer, especially namless deer and fawns, are made to feel included and are warmly welcomed.

We all love the Endless Forest and want to share that feeling with every person who spends time there. If some people think LBs are unnecessary or that we're gilding the lily, that's okay! We're simply a volunteer group that occasionally holds all-inclusive gatherings. We also subscribe to a certain code of conduct that helps new players immediately feel right at home.

I've got a problem though. You put both my deer, Thyme, and my name on the members list. Thyme is my deer in the forest. So, we're not earning points seperately. (Am I making any sence? It's kind of early here, sorry.)

Lightbringers hear a story

Lightbringers hear a story from Koonie.

"Today, I found two nameless playing with a fawn. The fawn was unknown to me, so I trotted over and bowed, and waited for the fawn to return my bow, but it never did, so I tried again......and again........and AGAIN! Finally after a fourth time in bowing, the fawn bowed to me. One of the namelesses cocked their head and ran off, the other ran off and layed down in a mushroom circle that was close by. I danced with the fawn for about 10 minutes and then got bored, so I ran off to a group of deer that were spell spamming (My favorite forest activity) I think I went through 15 sets of antlers! But it's not like I was counting, I was too busy spell spamming myself! Everyone then ran over to a Masking Tree, all but one deer with the set of the BZG. I thought about leaving him there, but decided against it and danced with him for a good minute or so.

For the sake of deer, let there be Light in the Forest that never ends.

While I commend the work of

While I commend the work of this group, I still feel that there is a delicate balance between being a group that promotes unity in the larger community and becoming an elite, dominant group of deer with a higher e-social status than others.

If being in a group like this helps you be nicer in the Forest, rock on. Just remember that there are many relatively quiet, overlooked players such as myself who are naturally generous in the Forest. That's just how we play.
