Pelts, Antlers, Masks, and Our Interpritaions of Them (May 10: New Spells!)

We all know that a deers' appearance influences how we expect them to act towards us, and even think about us in The Forest. The question is, how do you respond to certain pelts, antlers, masks, or sets? Do certain pelts constantly remind you of something? Or perhaps you associate certain spells with certain personality types.

Here are a few images of spells (gathered from Moss's amazing Selector blogs).
Take a moment to look at each and comment with what your first impressions are of each spell. Don't stress about it, or think too long, simply the first emotion or personalty you think of!

EDIT: MAY 10, 2011: Four New Spells for You All to Review! Have Fun!

IMAGE 1: Beluga Pelt

IMAGE 2: Magpie Antlers

IMAGE 3: Key Antlers

IMAGE 4: Crying Mask

[Do not read this section until AFTER you have made your own opinions on each spell!]

Here's how I respond to each spell listed above:

1: I love this pelt, in-fact it is rather awesome. One of the more subtle pelts, it is also one of the darkest pelts (I would love some darker pelts, maybe a dark crimson one, similar to this). This pelt is very versatile in terms of characters, but since it was going to be the pelt for my villain Sinker, my bias associates it with malicious plotting (the black around the eyes, makes an almost sinister glare).

2: Much more downplayed in both shape and color than the vibrant peacock antlers, I am glad these are in The Forest. I'm sad though, that the iridescent shimmer doesn't really appear outside of screenshots, in actual game-play it is hard to see. I associate these with female characters, unless the behavior of the character proves otherwise.

3: These make me think of a studious thinker, these antlers are not designed for conflict and the key symbolism draws to mind the unlocking of secrets. Of the antlers in The Forest I consider these one of the few that can be worn by both male or female characters without bias.

4: I love and hate this mask so much. I love it because of the simple, morbid design but I regret that the rest of the mask will only blend seamlessly with the default pelt. It would be amazing if this mask could tint to match the wearers pelt, but I do not believe this will ever happen, sadly. As for who wears this, I A) always assume they are blind...though characters are rarely played as such I have found and B) that they are sensitive and reclusive.

I'm amazed by how judgmental I am in regards to how deer look! Perhaps because we have no verbal reference to draw from in regards to first impressions. Of course I know that a set doesn't make a character, but how a deer looks, as well as how they carry themselves is far more important than a fancy CSS biography page. At least to me.

What about you? What do you think of these spells, or others! Share and discuss (politely, of course Eye).

Oh fun!

1: A very silly deer. Even though the trumpets are very pretty to me, there is something silly about them. Especially if they just don't fit with the rest of the set at all.

2: A distant deer, maybe more a watcher, still occasionally playfull. There's something mysterious in the pelt for me.

3: Flirt. you're just dressing up pretty there. But if you don't wear a mask, you simply look silly. With mask, I'll simply take you as a flirt, sorry ;_;" XDD

4: Quiet, shy, reserved. A calm deer. I think it's also in the quietness of the mask itself. Though there is also something very pretty and elegant in it, definitly not something overly shy.

Ahh I'm amazed your answers

Ahh I'm amazed your answers are so close to mine Seele! xD

1: I see the Kabuki antlers

1: I see the Kabuki antlers as very creative, so at first impressions, I think the deer wearing them are one way or another very artistic in character nature, especially musical.
... Until I'm proved otherwise after getting to know the character. *Pokes Auge*

2: Content deer. The type you can relax around. Dunno why though.

3: I havent really a set line of thought to this one... Could be anything!

4: Sweethearts. <3 Gentle, kind, loving, maybe shy.

4. I love this mask, but like most of you I think of someone serious or shy.

It reminds me of the brain in the grossest way. Haha. It looks awesome with the zombie antlers, though.

Intricate. Birch Forest. I think it's ironic that a pelt with so many earthy colors has neon blue antlers with heavy eye shadow to match. Sticking out tongue

This was fun! I think I'll do this again sometime! C:
Thanks for all the interesting responses guys, they made for interesting thought-food.

1. I find them strange and

1. I find them strange and funny, but any deer wearing them has an almost 'respectful' feel to them. I believe its because of the antlers size and their bright color that makes them stand out greatly.

2. I tend to feel colder to deer wearing this pelt. I dont really know why, I guess the natural colors and then the big red stripe through them gives me a feeling of 'up to something' or sort of 'creepy'

3. I personnaly love this pelt, and find that deer who wear them have bright but calm personnalities, but they are reserved and mysterious too. (seeing as I have this pelt on one of my deer, i judge others with this pelt to be like my deer. But I wear different antlers and a mask over the face!)

4. Deer with this mask seem calm and kind to me, but also seem to be hiding something, or they 'are not who they seem to be'. The mask also makes me think of someone of power, but im not sure why.
trigger_mortis's picture

Hmm, lets see here...

1. For some reason I always see these antlers as flowers rather than 'trumpets'. I think because of this I associate the deer wearing them with a sort of carefree and friendly attitude.

2. This pelt always give me the image of intestines, perhaps most recently because of dissections! Either way, it always seems very organic and natural, kind of like tribal markings.

3. This makes me think of some royalty wearing the pelt of an exotic cat. I picture a king in his fur robes with sapphire jewellery. Does I see with that pelt I think are bold and show-offy, and stags want to attract attention.

4. Similarly I associate that mask with 'hiding' but more in a camouflage sense than a shy sense. Deer with that mask I tend to associate with more masculine features funnily enough.

You should post another one of these sometime! I think it might be interesting to get people thinking about sets that aren't normally seen, and how they can be interpreted in so many different ways!

1. The trumpets are comedy.

1. The trumpets are comedy. Comedy, comedy, comedy. This is a deer you can spazz and play with. THIS DEER WILL MAKE YOU BLEED HAPPY.

2. BACON. BACONBACONBACONBACON IT'S BACOOOOON.

3. This pelt has always seemed glossier and sleeker to me. I see it as displaying elegance or grace. Almost dignified, really.

4. Reserved. Perhaps more of a watcher than anything else. Inquisitive, intelligent.

1.trumpet antlers: I don't

1.trumpet antlers: I don't know why but I feel annoyed when I see them. :X

2.Kabuki Pelt: I like this pelt, even thought I don't use it. But it looks pretty bold. I would expect someone that wears this to be pretty outgoing and active.

3.Great Argus Pelt: I like this pelt as well, but I associate this pelt with females. I guess because all the characters I've seen with this pelt have been female characters. Not to mention it looks like it has "street walker" makeup on.

4.Golden Butterfly or Whisper Mask: Also reminds me of a female. Not because I've only seen females wear this, it just looks feminine to me. Maybe a character thats not very outgoing would wear this.
Tally's picture

1. First of all I appreciate

1. First of all I appreciate that they're wearing them because I secretly love those trumpets! Then I usually expect an obnoxious silly deer. d:

2. It's Weasel's fault that I think of him and his silliness when I see this. But I think it also gives an illusion of larger size for me.

3. I usually think of the "pretty coy doe" when I see it, ahaha. I adore the way poppies look on those blue antlers.

4. Shy, or quiet. I always think of Seed first, so I almost see all deer with it to be the reserved intellegent kind.

I love this blog. <3

1. They do look silly, but

1. They do look silly, but theyre no joke! (just ask my deer fiber. she is soooo tough!)
2. Gives a deer that "goes good with a skull mask look". I wouldnt say tough or masculine though
3. To be honest, i think of tribal makeup (wich means that i dont think that its overly annoying and glamourous)
4. Makes me think of a jaguar a little.

1) A hyper, silly yet friendly deer.

3) A deer who wants to have a great look and come across as very pretty.
4) A mature, calm deer

Short answers because I'm using the iPod :B

Iaurdagnire's picture

1. I only ever see Rustar

1. I only ever see Rustar with these antlers, and with his set it just looks really nice (: so I guess I don't really have an impression as I literally have seen no-one else wearing them. But whenever I cast them on someone, or someone casts them on me, I laugh.

2. Bacon. Bacon-bacon.
Bacon.
That's all I feel! Again, rarely see or interact with anyone wearing this pelt.

3. I love this pelt, because it's just amazing camouflage for the birch forest (Kiyoko's fault). I dislike the blue antlers and the blue around the eyes, but with masks like the real deer or whistling mask it looks quite feminine and pretty. Generally when I see this pelt on someone I instantly think 'female'; shy but pleasant, none-aggressive.

4. Hm, this mask can say different things depending on the pelt underneath, so I have mixed feelings. I usually assume they're a fun and approachable deer, and the only reason I feel they may seem withdrawn/quiet is because their call isn't loud or intimidating, so the call button is used to lesser extent than let's say... the skull mask (;

I think generally colours play a big part in our impression of deer we meet. Red is a baser instinct colour meaning danger (crying idol, kabuki), blue is a calm, mysterious colour (beluga, nighfall), green - like red - is also an instant thing meaning "ok" or "go" if you like the traffic light comparison (green scaled pelt), and earth colours are neutral (real deer). Then you have the odd balls like peacock which are bright, fun colour combinations that are hard to be afraid of, etc.
... Then you have shape, ie, antlers and mask. Sharper shapes = aggressive (eg skull mask + great white antlers/any deer-like antler that looks as if it can poke holes in you). Softer shapes = relaxed (rounder masks like the whistling masks, butterfly antlers etc).

I like using the long mask because it's sort of a toss-up between nice and nasty; round, but large and red, sort of... scary but nice and fun at the same time.

I had many classes about first-impressions and how they shape how we act, so this was a delicious topic Tera <3

1. Well, I personally love

1. Well, I personally love the 'trumpet' antlers. I've always seen them as fun and expressive, and they're part of my deer's 'party' set, because they just seem kind of outrageous and silly. Right up Ady's alley. Sticking out tongue

2. I don't have much of an opinion on this one... I kind of associate it with something feminine...I think I'm linking that pelt with Isis actually, even though I didn't know that deer... XD Although I do remember the first time I saw it in the forest and went, "Ew. There's bacon on a deer..." But after a while I got over it and now I quite like it with certain sets.

3. I love this pelt and it reminds me of a butterfly, very natural. I feel that it seems to radiate either power or elegance.

4. I seem to agree with the majority here and think of a deer as reserved or hiding in this mask.

Oh this is awesome Tera. Smiling Moar please. ^-^
Laruna's picture

1. I think of bell flowers,

1. I think of bell flowers, thanks to my deer I think of all antlers as plants first. (: But I also think of gramophones and a steampunk deer I designed a long time ago.

2. Reminds me of Jen, which brings back all the wonderful memories I have of playing with such an amazing individual. <3

3. It reminds me of Shyla and the birch forest a little (because of the colors). I've always seen the "spots" as eyes, for some reason.

4. I wear this mask when I want to communicate, but don't mind if my voice is lost on the wind. I think it has the best sound of all the masks, and also the most "natural" sound, since to me it sounds like wind whistling through something. So I think of calmness, or peacefulness, or a desire to be more in tune with nature when I see this mask.

Thanks for this, it was fun. (:
quadraptor's picture

1 - The Trumpet Antlers I see

1 - The Trumpet Antlers I see for a deer that is silly or likes to be the comedian in the group. Quad wears them on occasion because he loves to make other deer laugh.

2 - I always associated the Kabuki Pelt as being tribal, like war paint. So yeah, I do see a masculine feel for it.

3 - I pretty much agree with everyone (actually really glad that i'm not the only one) who hates the blue around the eyes. I think wearing the Real Deer mask makes it cool because the blue shows out of the eyeholes like the deer has blue eyes, and otherwise I love this pelt, always like pelts with white bellies. Just hate those eyes.

4 - The Golden Butterfly mask (as well as the antlers) always looked like some kind of fungus growing on the deer, so I always associated it more with a deer who was earthy and mystic rather than one who was shy. I always saw it as both male and female, and I think it looks nice coupled with the Beluga Pelt.

1. Carefree. My OOC deer will sometimes wear these with the DotD pelt and beluga mask. I really love the bright colours.

2. BACON! lol.
I think of Atty so I tend to view deer wearing this pelt as very placid, calm, and wise.

3. I love this pelt to death. Smiling
I am sad I don't see it as much and believe it is one of the prettier ones.
I view it as cliche with the real deer mask because I've seen 5+ does wearing that pelt+mask combo so they can have blue eyes.

4. COWARD COWARD COWARD.
I really don't even try to interact with deer with this mas.
They always RUN AWAY.
Every character I've ever met who wore this pelt immediately ran away from me and cowered like I was some sort of monster.

4: all I could ever think of since I first saw them was puppies, the side parts always made me think of floppy ears; somewhat dainty (I'm in love with it's whistle call)

1. These seem very creative

1. These seem very creative and artistic to me. It reminds me of modern art a little bit.

2. This is a very bland pelt to me, it doesn't attract me at all-- unless someone shows me differently I will take them at first glance as boring. >>

3. I love this pelt, and as Quad said, I love this pelt with the real deer mask, as it makes your deer look like it has blue eyes. I don't quite mind the blue above the ees, but you HAVE to have some sort of mask with it. It reminds me of an insect or a caterpilliar.

4. Shy deer. Like they have something to hide. This mask drives me nuts, and I don't like it a whole lot. 8/

1. I find them often worn by social deer, funny deer. Can hardly take them seriously; associate them with foolishness.

2. Often think of either bacon or tripping on acid. LOL for cereal, I mean it.

3. Never been fond of the pelt. It reminds me of old potatoes. It makes me frown DD: The face is just terrifying.

4. Adore it. It makes me think they are mysterious, reverent, benign.. Idk. It's a very mystical mask. Lovelove.

Long post. > > Trumpet

Long post. > >

Trumpet antlers: I think of music. I actually think of a saxophone player, a middle aged black man somewhere in Louisiana, playing the best tune some people will hear in their entire lifetime. I think of flamboyancy, an odd sense of joyous aristocracy and bounding, happy tastefulness.

Kabuki pelt: Obviously, bacon. Kidding, partially. I saw it first as organs, a trail of them. And also too, something of a flow across the body, energy, maybe a bit like the chakras except oddly sideways. Since this is Atvana’s (my “durr”) typical pelt, I may be a bit more biased here than usual. The color scheme always struck me as… Passionate? Reds and the sort, to me, are the colors associated with love and passion, partially because of the association with the flushing of blood relating to physical excitement. (> > Pardon the innuendo; it is unintended.)

Great Argus pelt: I always see a butterfly, for some reason it reminds me of a monarch (in name, though not appearance) even though there’s a pelt for that. Maybe the caterpillar? Something… It seems fancy to me, in the more traditional sense. A bit like a fine Persian carpet, or something of the sort.

Golden Butterfly mask: This one always struck me as odd, but not negatively. I like the curve. It seems almost African, in a way, tribal… But merged with something else. And the noise. <33 I love the way it wraps as a thin strand, then billows out. Lives up to its name.

Apologies for not giving much personality… I don’t… Much see that. I see other things. xD

1) Silliness and Loudness --

1) Silliness and Loudness -- they're antlers I can't take seriously, but that I can enjoy.
2) Since Faris wore that pelt, so I think of him, his pride. He likened it to a knightly banner, the lines are the edges of a pennant in the breeze....
3) It's a very girly pelt to me because of the make-up eyes, but the default antlers on it are sooo pretty. I love this pelt.
4) My favorite mask. It has a sound -- could be quiet or submissive, but it also sounds very magical. It's a mysterious sound, and so it stays near at the edges...But it also reveals a lot of the real face of the deer that wears it -- it reveals the mouth and eyes, which while it covers the face, still leaves it very expressive and true to the magical nature of the deer.

1. I love those ridiculous

1. I love those ridiculous antlers. My BFF and I call them The Gramophones. I put them on Cricket when I am acting all prancy and showy. But Cricket is a very silly deer so they're not to be taken seriously.
2. I find the Kabuki pelt very elegant. I think it looks fantastic with The Gramophones, although it isn't nearly as silly. I think deer wearing this pelt look classy.
3. Another of my favorite pelts--when I play Zodiac, I love to pair this pelt with the peacock mask, because its default antlers go so well with the blue face. For some reason, the deer I run into wearing this pelt always seem to be friendly.
4. I've never liked this mask. I enjoy it enough on other deer, and I love the sound it makes, but I always sneeze it off when it gets cast on me. I think it's something about the color and pattern, they strike me as very unattractive. I think perhaps for that reason I view deer wearing it as humble, not vain.

1: These horns are...

1: These horns are... ridiculous. I always roll around on the floor whenever I see someone with them, so it has to be a deer who doesn't take himself too serisouly and likes to make others laugh. Class clown, maybe?

2: The autumn-like well-camouflaged colours of this one tells me of a quiet deer who doesn't like attention but is still strong and enjoys company, if not huge crowds. It looks like a protective personality to me.

3: Gold and blue? Coming from Denmark I think Brønby, which is a town/city most commonly associated with soccer. But aside from that, I think flashy and a little showy, a deer who likes to be the center of attention but who also enjoys an atmosphere of mystery about himself. Somewhat of a poser, I'd say.

4: Definitely a quiet deer who'd rather stay to himself than go anywhere near other deer. Not a harsh or rude personality, just terribly shy and gets tongue-tied at the begining of every conversation.

Hurm, Why didn't I start

Hurm, Why didn't I start doing this? I'll do it now...

1. (Noh Antlers) I'm sorry, but whenever I see these, I assume that the deer is a doe. After, if you're a stag, how the bloody fudge would those little things work in spars? I can only think of either a very feminine stag or simply a doe.

2. (Fan Pelt) I love this pelt~ It's so elegant yet simple in it's design. Whenever I see it, I think of an exotic-type deer. Or an okapi. A polite deer, always putting manners before selfishness.

3. (Space Belgua Mask) I'll be honest, while I love the sound of the call for this, I really do dislike the design. With the giant bulge in the forehead I automatically assume that the deer is extremely intelligant xD.

4. (Fan Hands Mask) Oh, I love this mask to death. I don't think I'll ever have a character that'll fit it though. I always think of a tarot card reader or a fortune teller when I see this mask. The deer is very down-to-earth, and more 'in touch' with nature than the others.

Hmm..

1. These have been used so often for does, that it's hard to separate, but the first time I saw it, I thought more of a yearling stags nubs. To me they seem like the deer is young, friendly (as opposed to the pronghorn antlers), and unaggressive.

2. I've always loved this pelt. It seems just so wild and organic. I always think of a deer hiding in a forest or shaded area, with the lighter areas being where the sun makes dapples. I need a character with this pelt :B

3. Neeever really associated this mask with either a beluga or space...but I see it as representing a more 'human' face than most. However, it always makes me think that the deer has a strange growth coming out of it's head, the forehead is very big.

4. I always loved this mask. It makes me think of native finger paintings on wild mustangs. I always see it as being very tribal and unique.

Noh:
You're a girl. Even though I know sometimes stags wear it. But it immediatly says "doe" to me. Also "typical doe". Sometimes they look good with a set, sometimes they look like their player simply wanted to make sure possible mates knew it was a female XDD
Nothing in me has a certain ehm, click to a personality like trait with these antlers. Doe can go anywhere.

Fan:
I LOVE the fan pelt. Chocolate. Tasty. The honey-like stripes. A somewhat gentle personality, but as soon as this deer opens up to you they might be silly as well. Or just are. Really an elegant pelt in my eyes too.

Beluga:
Erhm. Yeah. I do like it, especially the ivory colour. But the tiny little eyeholes.. Huge forhead.. I don't know, it's a bit retarded ;_; One of my deer used to wear it but now just doesn't wear a mask since I think even that looks better. I do think it fits with some pelts, but eh. A bit of a dumb deer to me I think.

Fan mask:
I always imagine this as hair. When I joined two years ago, I called it the "emo mask". Since yknow, emo kids having their hair hang in front of their face like that lawl. So it has always been hair. I think a deer wearing this looks quite cute, a bit feminine, seems like a nice deer to me. Not elegant though. This deer could be quite uh.. I forgot the word, but let's say unbalanced, walking into stuff because they're not paying attentionn..

1. Not a big fan of the Noh

1. Not a big fan of the Noh antlers. Their shape looks awkward and reminds me of stub antlers that are just growing in. I don't know why they have become the default "I am a doe!" symbol. Then again, I am not someone who really digs gender differentiation in the forest.

2. I love the face on this pelt. I am surprised it is not more popular, as it is very versatile and really sophisticated-looking.

3. FFFFF I love this mask, even though I never wear it. I love everything about it: its bizarre shape, its texture, and most of all: the crazy noise it makes. Despite being a little silly, I do think of deer that wear this mask as being "mysterious," maybe intentionally so. When my housemate's computer was able to handle TEF and we played together, I always did everything I could to cast this mask on him. I have drawn tribute art to it.

4. I could take it or leave it. This mask looks great with some pelts, boring with others. I think I see it more as "markings" than an actual mask.

1. Sausage. I see sausage. ;; And then there's that contradictory 'oh wait, you're a girl' that comes in right after that. I try to move the sausage off to the edge of the plate and ignore it.

2. This pelt. Hnnng! I love it. I don't know that it really gives off any personality in and of it self, but it seems very dignified. The rich brown adds a touch of kingly demeanor too, I suppose.

3. I'm iffy about this one. I love that it looks so unique, but the bulging head makes me think of the Red Queen from the latest Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp. 'Down with the bloody big head! >8U'

4. I immediately think 'Poltergeist'. |D She's the only deer I've known to wear it commonly. Again, it doesn't really radiate anything particular, but it generally seems to be a welcoming sight.

IMAGE 1: Noh Antlers
I usually think that does wear these

IMAGE 2: Fan Pelt
It makes me think of a shy or sensitive deer

IMAGE 3: Space Beluga Mask
idk why but I think that that any deer wearing that mask is a super-genius or very very mean

IMAGE 4: 'Fan' Hand Mask
It makes me think of a very expressive deer

1. This symbolizes a doe to me. A sort of fun-loving deer.
2. Chocolate, more of a bold, but gentle deer, outgoing. The colors contrast quite well so I think of it as bold.
3. Don't know, honestly...
4.A more quiet, reserved sort of deer. Elegant.

1: Noh Antlers
I see either the deer is a young stag with antlers just starting to bud or a doe. Though usually I associate it with does since a majority of community members use them for does. At first I thought it was a joke with it being ‘no antlers’ since people use to complain in the old Forums/help boards that they couldn’t have no antlers or be does In Game.

2: Fan Pelt
I see a strong or bold personality but with a gentle nature. I love this pelt and have a character lined up to use it. X- P

3: Space Beluga Mask
When I first saw and heard it I fell in love with it. It’s unique from everything else both in appearance and sound. Though I do find it ugly I still can’t help but like it.

4: 'Fan' Hand Mask
I think it looks beautiful with some pelts. I see it kind of feminine.

1. Sausages. 2. Lovely pelt.

1. Sausages.

2. Lovely pelt. Reminds me of a calm, friendly, though a bit shy deer. And yet quite mysterious. Optimist.

3. I LOVE this mask, seriously. It does look weird and many people hate it, but I love it. And the sound it makes is just... amazing. However it reminds me of some screenshots somebody took with several deer wearing these masks and fan pelts and wrote it's the ugliest set ever.
Oh well, at least that was funny P:

4. Shy, but very friendly deer. A doe most probably or genderless.

1: I automatically assume a deer wearing these is a doe. But then again, there are stags with these antlers. They look like a smushed hotdog bun.

2: Bananas! It reminds me of them.

3: Ugliness Sticking out tongue I'm not really a big fan of this one.

4: This looks like an emo would wear it xD

Well...
1. For me, looks like peanuts glued to a deer´s head xD but it´s the only thingy my deer could use to show she´s a doe, it is, that if Gods could put ''hair'' antlers maybe would be fabulous Smiling

2. I think not many people thinks like me, but this deer looks like has a biig CHIN XDD... and they highlight too much the fact of the dot-like eyes. But the goldening at the skin is soo nice... i always liked that shining Smiling

3. The unique mask i hate. It makes deer look like... having an ENORMUS forehead, like the ancient men-like-monkeys... it must be a joke of Michael XD belugas aren't so... strange.

4. This mask is very nice, cute, squeezy thingy... yes, i said squeezy. Because i think this is like a soft, black pillow for the deer's eyes, like an eyes cover for the sleep time Laughing out loud but for drawing it... i really don't figure where to put the eyes! everything is black in it o__O

This are my comments. [period!]

I will bump this awesome

I will bump this awesome thread.

1. I don't care much about these. I think they don't complement any other sets really well and are not more than the closest alternative to antlerless for me. Basically they're an indicator but not more than that. I try to find better-looking alternatives to the Nubs whenever I can.

2. I really really like the way this pelt looks by itself without any masks. It's very simplistic, and I connect a calm, laid-back and friendly attitude with them. It has a lot of character and works very well on its own.

3. I absolutely adore this mask. I didn't like its shape at all first but came to love it, especially after having met great deer with this mask. Smiling It's now by far one of my favourites. I associate it with reservedness; a quiet thinker, but not cold, just withdrawn. Those little round button-eyes. Combined with its sound the Beluga Mask appears also very alien and other-worldly to me. Mysterious and engimatic.

4. Emo hair! Haha really, this is the first thing that came to my mind when I first saw the mask. Hair. I like it though. It works great with almost every pelt and adds more character to too simple-looking things. Mostly it depends on the combination but usually this mask implies a laid-back and confident nature. Social.
