Updates september 27th, 2022;
Fixing a lot of stuff around on bios while I try to get back into things <3
Tried to get back into TEF last year as well, but then my dog's health declined and in the beginning of december last year she had to be put down, my best friend for close to 15 years.
This took such a heavy toll on me and I think was a major reason for why I was unable to get back into TEF. But yeah, new attempt! So if you ever spot any of my characters in the forest, pls don't be afraid to say hello to them or poke me on discord or something <3

I just LOL'D so hard at that
By the by, am I sitting under you, or have you moved? I have the sneaking suspicion that my game has frozen...
Haha. xD Oh, I don't know. I
Oh, I don't know. I didn't pay attention to the game at that time, and Illrose was alone when I logged out. >.>
"I don't think things are
A sad smile appeared in the
"I know." She said, after witnessing what had just happened between her friend and the red stag.
"But it's not your fault, at least you tried." Illrose nuzzled her skull into her friend's fur, before she rested her head on the other one's back.
"He was trying to get us to
She had at one point removed
"I don't care who started it!" She snarled, shaking her antlers and stomping her hooves on the ground. She was so angry she was not thinking clear at the moment, charging like a bull seeing red.
"I just want them to stop! I want it all to stop!" She had tried to get them all to play, to get along like friends, just for once. But no, they had to argue and break out fighting! She snorted heavily as Gustiro moved away, and Illrose looked at Umay once more, before she as well walked a few meters away, her heart still racing with rage and frustration.
Her ears flattened against
"I know." Despite being taken by surprise and becoming nervous, she still held eye contact.
She refrains herself from insulting Gustiro in her next sentence, "If Gustiro isn't willing to accept me, then things aren't going to change. There are going to be conflicts between us because we are enemies. Illrose, he doesn't care. If he did, he'd stop acting like a di-..." She grumbles.
i'm goning to throw Jade in
"I believe things are always going to be challanging around Gustrio... I don't believe he'll accept me either and I can't stand how he just toys with you and messes with your emotions..."
Illrose looked back at Umay,
"I know, I just... I don't understand why he has to be like that." She replied with a murmured growl.
"There is always someone that have to start fighting! I just want my friends to be friends too, I'm tired of having to choose..." She trailed off, staring into the distance for a moment.
"I know he doesn't care. I should let go of him but...it's so damn hard." She had promised once to let Gustiro go so she could be with her friends, but somehow something always pulled her back to the red stag. But she was done now. Done with all stags and their stupid testosterone driven fights!
( Ninja'd. xD )
Illrose turned toward her daughter, trying to push the rage away for a moment as she nudged her cheek into her daughter's fur. Illrose knew she shouldn't be like this with Jade around, but now it had been impossible to restrain the rage.
"I am aware of that, and it makes me incredible sad." She silently replied, before shaking her head slowly.
"Let's not be too harsh. Gustiro have a different mindset, and therefore sometimes a different behavior. He may not even know he messes with my emotions...but you are right. I should try to pull away, once and for all."
For a moment, Umay's focus
"Because he probably wants you to himself. He doesn't like me being with you. After all, I'm his enemy. I would feel off about my enemies being with my friends or family too. I'd fear for their safety. I'm assuming his actions are out of jealousy; it seems so." She sighs, eyes lowering until she could see the grass.
"I know..I wish the same. I think we all do." The demoness felt horrible for Illrose, she understood what this situation must be like for her.
"I want to say I'll keep trying for you, but I already have. I see no hope."
Jade glanced at Umay as she
She ganced back at Illrose and despite her rather expressionless eyes, looked sympathetic, "Yes... I just want you to be happy, whatever that takes... I doubt you'll find that happiness with him if this continues to go on, though... Do whatever you have to do, but be careful about it..."
Love was such a painful thing...
(Guess I wanna put a little
The canine's glare was focused on the angered doe. Both ears raised up high to hear each speak. Not only was he annoyed at the red stag that dare rub against him, but also at the antlered doe that pushed him away and taunted him. He felt as if he and his sister were getting the blame for such events despite the fact they were the ones making the effort to sniff the stag while he only responded with aggression.
"At least we tried." He mumbled in a low tone. His eyes remained staring at Illrose, intimidating and unmoving.
She looked at Umay, her fur
"Yes, I admit I would have felt the same way too. But I've tried to ask him so many times to accept my friends, both you and others, but he simply won't listen." It could seem she had calmed down now, but the trembling in her voice gave away the rage she was holding back at the moment. She then shook her head slowly.
"No, you don't have to try any more, I know it is impossible." She would never again attempt to bring Umay and Gustiro together. Never. A sad smile appeared on her lips as she looked at her dear friend, before she turned her head to Jade as her daughter spoke.
"Hm, it's complicated, all this. Deep inside I think I know I can never be truly happy if I stay with him, but another part refuse to let go, no matter what." This felt awkward, sort of. She sighed.
"I know what I have to do." But that was easier said than done, to let Gustiro go.
Her ears then pinned to her neck as she heard Kody's voice. Illrose knew she was treating the stag unfair, but right now she was angry at him simply because he was a stag. She was tired of stags and all their fighting. She was angry at both him and Gustiro right now. But she only wanted to separate the stag, her intentions had never been to hurt any of them. She took a deep breath, before she nodded toward Kody.
"I know." That was the only words she could master right now, before she had gotten to calm down.
Jade nodded knowingly, she
It was also the same with Reed... but Jade decided no to mention him at the moment.
Her head lifted once more,
"I'm sorry things aren't working out, I know it's hard for you. I only want what's best for all of us. I honestly don't think Gustiro is good for you, I know he's hurt your other friends too, and he has so many other does.. I'm sure you know what I mean." Another sigh escapes, it was sad to see Illrose torn like this.
She listens as the others speak to eachother, taking in their words. Umay had calmed down quite a lot now.
Her ears slowly perked back
"Yes, I know what you mean, and you are absolutely right." Gustiro did have many others, not only does, but also stags that was a part of his 'herd'. Yes, he did have others, he would do just fine without her.
"I guess it's best to just stay away then. To avoid him." Illrose took a new breath to calm down, and when she casted a regretful glance at the others it was even directed at Kody.
"I'm sorry I got angry with you guys today. I...I just snapped."
"It's all right..." Jade said
She glanced across a bit wearily as Reed came up and sat near. Last week she had gotten involved in a disagreement between him and Leviathan, and although he had forgiven Levi, he seemed to still have something against Jade.
A smile. "It's okay, I
"It's okay, I wouldn't have hated you for it anyways. I'm sorry for all the fights Gustiro and I get into."
Umay had already noticed Reed's presence, but she was fine with it.
A relieved, but still
"Thank you, both of you. And don't think about that, Umay. I understand." She then looked toward Reed, knowing he had been a 'victim' of her rage as well, and probably deserved an apology too. And so did her sister, Leviathann. Illrose sighed again as she had to sit down. The rage was leaving her body, and it made her notice how tired she was from the outburst.
"Do you want to be alone? If
She shook her head. "No, it's
"No, it's okay. Just stay." It was okay with Jade and the little one there, but if the place got to crowded she would probably just move to another place where she could be alone.
Jade gaze her a gentle gaze,
"Alright."
Why I haven't added you on
Also, track.
Will do. :') And thanks.
And thanks. n__n
Sorry for leaving, had to go
Haha, Umay felt so awkward when she spammed Gustiro's pelt onto her, especially when they both sort of stood still and stared. Out of all the pelts it could have been and it was that one LOL. It was a little amusing.
So yush, night. It's always fun hanging out with Illrose. <3
It's alright. :') Haha, it
Haha, it was the worst pelt she could have spammed her with. Amusing indeed!
Good night, we had a great time with Umay as well. ♥
tracking this too (:
Thanks. :')
"You don't seem to be easily
(haha sry... ignore me if you want 'xD)
She tilted her head
"Hm, no, I guess not." Illrose smiled, but it was - as always - hidden behind her mask.
"What is your name?" She then asked. This stranger had definitely caught her interest, especially after the sight of him down by the pond, before Reed came and 'interrupted'. He had looked quite different then, but the glowing sign above his head had told her it still was the same deer...creature.
( I would never ignore you. ._. ♥ Have to go to bed in a moment, though. xD )
He started to smile as
Yes he was reffering to their little meeting at the pond before... it was not really intentional that she saw him like that... he just accidentially ran in one of those strange white spells again.
"Janus." he answered shortly. "And yours?"
"Illrose." She shifted,
"So, I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but I admit your...appearance down by the pond had me quite curious. That tail of yours tells me your not really a deer, or what?" She had many questions resting on her tounge, but decided to start off with this one, they were just strangers to each other, after all, and he may not even want to answer any questions asked by a stranger.
He couldn't help it, her
"No... I am not really a deer." He let his eyes rest on her. This answer had to be enough for now. He was pretty sure, that this place was safe enough... but still If he was able to went in and out here, others could might do the same. And those others could might be dangerous.
The polite smile stayed on his face.
"I have to admit... you are the first... uhm.. deer ... i talk to... in this place. Uh... well not that I ever talked to a deer before... ah, yeha." he decided to better shut up before he started to babble. In this long sentence his accent was now noticable for the first time.
Her ears perked at the sound
"May I ask what you really are?" Yes, she was curious of this. With features like those she had seen by the pond he could be pretty much anything. And that tail...Illrose had to admit it did remind her of a dragon's tail. Perhaps another one of her own species had found it's way here? She then laughed.
"Yeah, well, technically you're not talking to a deer now either. Sure, I have this form while I'm here in the forest, but it's not my true form." She shook her antlers slightly, careful not to knock him in the head, despite the slight distance between them.
"Oh....?" His ears perked
For a moment he regretted to talk to this doe... a slight wave of panic cought him...
... but then he calmed down again.
This fear was rediciolous. Chances where pretty low that she was one of those he hides from.
Maybe it was not that uncommon that different creatures where able to enter and leave this place at will... after all he did the same...
"Well..." he hesitated. He had still a bad feeling about telling his 'secret' (allthough it technically wasn't a secret anymore) he had too many bad experiences in the past...
Janus sighed "I don't know... hmm a monster...? ... a beast...?" the smile faded now from his face.
"Yeah. I can't change
"Not...not a dragon, then?" Why did she feel disappointed? In her own world the dragons she met was usually rivals. Big creatures as they were they needed a lot of space and a lot of food, and too many in one area - especially a small one - could wipe out the food source too quickly. But still, it could have been nice to have anyone of her own kind here in the forest as well. She had Cadaver of course, but she hadn't seen much of him recently.
( Have to go afk for a while, I'm going to watch a movie. n_n )
(all righty) The stag's
The stag's eyebrows rose up.
"A dragon? No." he had met dragons before.... or better... a dragon.
Hadn't eactly been a pleasant company though... a creature full of anger and frustration. Understandable, though. It was for them even harder to hide than for him...
He hesitated again... but then he started to ask himself.
"What are you.... if not a deer...?"
After all she questioned as well, right?
No. Oh well. She was still
"A dragon." She replied. She wasn't hesitant to tell this to those who asked anymore, since almost everyone in the forest seemed to believe her. The only one she could remember really not believing in her true species was Jack, and even he had been convinced in the end, but not before he had seen it with his own eyes. For a moment, Illrose seemed distant as she thought of her old friend. She hadn't seen him in a long time, so she guessed he and Jane had finally found their way out of this place. He and Illrose hadn't really been best friends lately, but she still felt a little sting in her heart, knowing he had probably left without saying goodbye, and that she would probably never see him again. She quickly snapped out of her thoughts, as if she for a moment had forgotten Janus was even there.
"So...hm, how did you happen to stumble upon this place?" She asked, while trying to pull herself together again.
(wb xD) "Oh." he made
"Oh." he made again.
So she was a dragon.
Okay he could have guessed that... the way she asked before... it should have made him suspicious.
Well, at least she didn't seem to be able to change into what she is in this place. He was greatful for that.
"Hm" Her next question let him hesitate again.
"Magic." he answered shortly, made a gesture like shrugging. "I used magic... i believe." He grimaced as he used the word 'magic'.
It had taken him a lot to finally dare to do this step. His experiences with magic hadn't been the best as well. After all magic... a curse... changed him into... this beast. He shook his head to get rid of those thoughts.
He shrugged again "I mean... isn't that the common way to... to get here?" he seemed to be confused now.
( Thanks...and now I have to
The word 'magic' made her narrow her eyes at him, and she was barely able to restrain a growl from erupting through her mouth.
"You're a magician?" She slowly asked. Illrose knew he wasn't one of 'her' magicians - he seemed to be too young - but she still didn't want to have anything to do with those that could use magic. Although, she had thought that about humans as well, and hadn't one of her closest friends turned out to be a human? Illrose swallowed the aggression, hoping that Janus hadn't seen too much of it on her body language. Luckily the skull at least hid her face. She shrugged.
"I guess one can get here in many ways. Someone dies and are reborn, others find a portal that lead here, some are born here and some...are imprisoned here." Not that she was trapped here anymore, but Illrose had once seen this forest as a prison where the magicians had trapped her.
"A magician?" he couldn't
"No... by far not. Just... had the bad luck to... stumble in all that... shit." he snorted, shifted his weight uncomfortably. Anger rose up... and with the anger it was harder to keep he beast down. He already felt his teeth changeing again.... getting more pointy and sharp.
He forced his thoughts to focus on what the doe just told him.
"Ah ... I see..." the changed teeth let him mumble a little "that is interesting. Haven't thought there would be that many.... possibilities to get here."
Maybe this wasn't such a good place to hide then... at least not as save as he thought at first.
"Good." She murmured, her
"I mean, good that you're not a magician, not that you had bad luck...I know how it feels to get unwillingly involved in that...shit." She therefor hurried to add, smiling as she used the same word as him. Not to make fun of Janus, but because it was a very good term to use on magic and such.
"Well, I don't really know. It's just what I've heard, so I could be wrong."
He slightly lifted his head,
But now he looked at her, even smiled. He somehow had the feeling she was honest. She really understood.
HE cleared his throat "Uhm.. may... may I ask something...?" he shifted his weight again. " You... you saw my... ma 'true' face... i mean.... how dangerous would it be for me... here looking like that...?"
He could feel how his face started to burn. It was actually a stupid question... but somehow he needed to find out. And simly asking was one of the more save ways.
Illrose tilted her head
"Oh. Well...I really don't know." This was actually quite a tricky question.
"I mean, I have seen lots of deer with quite interesting appearance...so of course you will awake curiosity, but you won't be the only one looking...well, different. I mean, just wait till you see the creature that sometimes are in the pond, he looks really scary, but he is a scavenger and really not that dangerous." She paused for a moment, thinking for a moment about the dragon-like creature named Neath.
"Some may find you intimidating, but I don't think it's dangerous in any way." No, she couldn't see why it should be dangerous for him to show his real face. Some had wings, some had fangs, some had claws...there was many different deer in the forest.
He remained silent for a
He hadn't been here for long. Actually... he somehow just arrived...
So hehad no idea about the different creatures around here... and if someone like him could be an unusual sight.
"Hm... maybe... i don't need to hide all the time then... it is...exhausting after all."
He merely spoke to himself now.
When Janus fell silent,
"So this appearance is to hide your other one? I thought you just could change your look whenever you wanted." She laughed a little at her own mistake, before shaking her head.
"No, I don't think you need to hide. If he just stayed around a bit longer, he would see he wasn't the only one with a quite unique appearance.
He nodded. "Yes!... It is...
He sighed. Pondered again...
... ah why not telling her this... it was not real secret after all.
"Well I am actually human... at least.... somehow... and... where I come from... I need to hide my true appereance all the time. Here in this place, allthough in a different body, I obviously kept this ability... and... i thought maybe it is better to look... well 'normal' until i know how things work here."
He sighed again. "hell.... couldn't know that those white spells destroy everything..."
He let out a slight growl... flinched at this sound. "S..sorry." he mumbled
Track!
AliceV; Illrose didn't say
Illrose didn't say anything instantly. She just had a mild curious look on her face, as if she was wondering why it was complicated.
"Oh. I understand." She then said, nodding. And she truly did understand. How many times hadn't she hidden her true dragon form behind the human form the magicians had accidentally given her? Sometimes it was best to hide one's true face to avoid unnecessary trouble and conflicts.
"As I said, I really don't think you need to waste your energy to hide your true appearance here." Her ears perked as she heard the growl escaping him, but since it wasn't directed at her - at least she didn't think so - she didn't do anything, only laughing slightly.
"It's alright."
