Updates september 27th, 2022;
Fixing a lot of stuff around on bios while I try to get back into things <3
Tried to get back into TEF last year as well, but then my dog's health declined and in the beginning of december last year she had to be put down, my best friend for close to 15 years.
This took such a heavy toll on me and I think was a major reason for why I was unable to get back into TEF. But yeah, new attempt! So if you ever spot any of my characters in the forest, pls don't be afraid to say hello to them or poke me on discord or something <3

Uwharrie; Illrose wanted to
Illrose wanted to drop this topic, so she simply nodded after Jade had spoken.
"Alright. I understand. Let's not talk more about this."" She turned her face back toward her daughter and smiled. But inside her head a thought had formed. She wanted to...needed to talk to the stag as well. She needed to hear his version of this story, and ask him why he was going after Umay and Jade. Not that she doubted what Jade said, but still...
Lung;
Lacie. She repeated the name in her head several time, but her mind remained empty...as always. Illrose sighed, looking over at Lacie with a weak smile.
"Nice to meet you, Lacie. Are...are we friends, or something?"
Pinkpaws;
Pfft. ♥
Jade nodded as well and
A feeling that this was far from over...
Kahlan decided that it was
"I'm Kahlan Lerrielle," She answered. She closed her eyes a moment to answer the question properly. "And you know me because, we fought. A lot. At first because you attacked a friend of mine when they were seriously injured...then after that, you did not like me being near Gustiro...but I couldn''t say why. I guess taht you were jealous for some reason, but you were closer to him than I, so I can't say for sure. Recently though, we had stopped fighting, and when we faced creatures that threatened the forest, we fought for the same team...I think I recall you actually aiding me at one point...and after that, I guess we were...simply people who knew each other."
Kahlan hoped that she had answered that to the extent that Illrose would like, since she knew that if she was the amnesiac that she would want to know everything that she had forgotten, down to probably what were insignificant details.
Uwharrie; Don't have much to
Don't have much to respond to that. xD But thanks for the rp. ^^
Mick;
Lately she had listened carefully when someone spoke to her, hoping that a certain word or name would trigger her memory. She did that now as well, but no part of her memory came rushing back to her while the doe, Kahlan talked. Illrose was, however, rather shocked at how she was described. She swallowed.
"I...I attacked someone injured?" That was horrible! The way Kahlan described her made her sound like someone really horrible, and Illrose felt ashamed. She tried not to show it though.
"Yeah, I've heard I and this Gustiro were in love or something, but I have apparently sworn to stay away from him now. And which creatures are you talking about? Was it those...those black deer?" Perhaps she had fought those black deer, and then been infected.
Black deer? Kahlan wondered,
"No...it was a race of skeletal wolves returned from the dead by another infection....a similar one i believe, but not quite the same," She answered at last. She thought of what she would say to the other point. Illrose looked as if she was physically struck by the idea she had attacked an injured deer.
"...I believe that you attacked the injured one...because he killed one of your best friends, someone who was very close to you....he returned later to my knowledge, but I couldn't say anything of your relationship with him now. It is also my belief that Jergens - the deer you attacked - later forgave you, but I don't remember for sure." She answered comfortingly. It was strange comforting her, someone who she had hated, and comforting about the event that Kahlan had hated her for, but she wouldn't be mean now, not to someone who remembered nothing of themselves.
"Yes...you swore to stay away from him, and I think it may have been to your benefit, you seemed to be...more content," Kahlan continued, "but that may have just been what i saw from those rare glimpses I caught."
Hm, skeletal wolves. A faint
"I guess we won that battle, since I can't see any skeletal wolves around now." Illrose then said, with a laugh. She then listened as Kahlan continued to speak. Suddenly images began to flash before her eyes; the sight of two stags, both wounded and bloodied. One red, and one white. The white limping away, only to fall dead, and the red surrounded by friends, also badly hurt. She remembered the deep sorrow and rage, and she remembered the attack on the red stag, Jergens. Not only had she wounded him, she had killed him. Or had she? But also he had returned later.
"Jergens." She whispered, then she saw an image of the white stag again.
"Jack! I remember!" Yes, that was his name. Jack. He had been one of her best friends once. Or was he still? And why did she remember this exact moment? Perhaps because it was an event that had left a painful scar in her heart, mourning over Jack the time he was gone. Dead. She then realized Kahlan was talking again, and she looked up at her.
"I did?" She asked, still clinging to the one memory she had at the moment.
"I don't feel content about it now, just...confused."
She nodded in response, a
Yes, you and I are friends.
There was a part of her that wished she knew how to carry a conversation further.
She knew only what she had
"I think that," Kahlan replied, "that you swore to stay away from him, because loving Gustiro is not like loving someone else. Gustiro...loves all, and I think part of you wanted him to yourself, and I think that you knew that couldn't happen, so the times that you were with your friends were hard because he can be so possessive over the deer he considered 'his'...and, I think you were tired of that. I think you wanted to be either his only or not his at all so you could be with your friends...at least, that's my guess. I don't know what happened, or I would tell you for definite...so perhaps, you are close with Jack still..." She was guessing and it would be obvious, but she wanted to ease Illrose's anguish if she could.
Lung; That made Illrose smile
That made Illrose smile happily, almost childish. Obviously her mind was far from what it had used to be, at least for the moment.
"I'm glad to hear that, because you seem to be really nice." She replied, smiling contently.
Mick;
Her heart was racing, she was very relieved to at least remember something. Still, she pulled herself together long enough to listen to what Kahlan said. And her explanation made so much more sense than what Illrose have heard or thought earlier. Well, it explained something, at least. The hate between Gustiro and her friends still confused her, and of course those she had talked to blamed Gustiro, said he was the one to start the fights. She still thought of trying to talk with the red stag, to get his version of what was going on. Why he and her friends hated each other so. But if she had vowed to stay away from him that would probably be a bad idea...Illrose sighed, and decided to push the whole topic away for a while.
"Do...do you know if Jack is still here?" She then asked Kahlan. But if he was, why hadn't she seen him at all?
By the by, the Kirin skull
---
The smile was faint, but her eyes reflected it well. She nudged the side of Illrose's face with the nose of her helm; her typical gesture of friendship.
I'm glad you're back, Illrose.
Kahlan shook her head a
"Do they hurt?" She asked, "Your injuries I mean...I could help with some of them, if you like."
I'm tempted to start an RP
Lung; ( Oh, so that was your
( Oh, so that was your deer. Both Illrose and I were a bit confused by him, lol. :'b )
She closed her eyes at the touch, leaning toward Lacie for a moment.
"So am I. I just wish I could remember..."
Mick;
"That's alright, you don't have to be sorry." She replied with a little sigh. Illrose did after all have a feeling that Jack was not here in the forest, so she was prepared to hear he had left. When Kahlan asked about her wounds, she turned her head and looked at her own side. The wounds were rather macabre to look at, large and deep, but they hurt surprisingly little.
"Actually, they just sting a bit now and then. But if you think you can help you are welcome to try." She smiled at Kahlan. Perhaps they had fought in the past, but now Illrose felt only thankful toward the other doe. Both for explaining the situation with Gustiro, and for bringing up Jergens' name, which had triggered the memory about Jack and the fight. It was not a pleasant memory, but it was better than no memory at all.
Pega;
You are very welcome if you want to. The more that talk to Illrose, the better. At least so she can get to know their names again until she get her memory back. xD
Toukan hadn't seen the
But now that he saw her again, amongst a crowd that had gathered, he figured approaching her now was ok. She was a little hard to recognize at first, but it was definitely Illrose. Did she break her antlers again? Toukan thought to himself as he approached. He'd also noticed she was now a dark gray, which was something of a relief compared to the black, even if her markings were gone. But she looked...pretty horrible, actually. Like someone had beat her up. He wondered what happened to her the past few days.
He tilted his head a bit when he stopped near her. "Illrose..?" The tone he asked her name in inquired if she was ok and if she was alright with having company.
[[I haven't done any writing in awhile, so this feels choppy and off.
(Yes. I took his biography
---
The girl nodded, once.
I'm confident you'll get your memory back.
Pega; Illrose was leaning
Illrose was leaning toward a tree as she watched the event in front of her. The green doe laying in the flower spot was heavily pregnant, and with the crowd that had gathered, Illrose expected she soon would give birth. In the corner of her eye she saw a glimpse of gray, and she turned her head toward the stranger just as he spoke her name. A caribou, unfamiliar to her, but obviously someone she should know since he knew her name.
"Hello." Illrose got up and greeted him, then tilted her head.
"Who...who are you?" She then asked, as always on her search for something that could trigger her memory, either a name or a word - anything.
Lung;
( Awh, he sound really sweet. :') )
"Me too." Illrose nodded, even though she really wasn't so sure. She looked at Lacie.
"Why don't you tell me a bit about yourself? Your friends and family? Perhaps it can help me remember." She suggested.
The bull blinked, confused at
Illrose shook her head. "I'm
"I'm afraid I don't." She replied.
"I don't remember what have happened, but I was told I was infected by something called 'black deer'. Then I was killed, apparently, and...here I am. Don't remember anything." She shrugged, but tried to smile.
His eyes widened at the word
"That sucks." It explained why she hadn't been herself though. "Black deer" made him think of that black infection thing and the Rock Hounds he'd heard about. Were they similar? "Well...since you don't remember anything...I'm Toukan. We were friends." It felt weird explaining this; he'd never dealt with anyone with amnesia before.
Although his words did
"Yes. Yes it sucks." She agreed, still giggling. But when Toukan spoke again she listened carefully.
"I hope we are friends still, when my memory comes back...if it comes back." She frowned for a moment, but then the smile was back on her lips.
Toukan blinked again, a
"I guess it's more accurate to say...we were friends before you were a black deer. So if you do get your memories back - and hopefully you do - I don't see why we wouldn't still be friends," he ended with a shrug.
Light energy coursed through
"That should begin to feel better," Kahlan said. "Assuming that none of the wounds have anything I cannot sense...but I doubt that." She would have felt infection, she was sure. At least she was sure she would feel normal infection, she didn't know about the darkness.
Pega; The expression she
The expression she could see in the caribou's face made Illrose press her lips together in an attempt to stay a bit more 'serious'. But a thought then hit her, and the serious expression on her face was real this time.
"Did...did I hurt anyone when I was a black deer?" She asked. Why hadn't she even thought of asking this before? Illrose didn't remember anything from being a black deer either...what if she had done something very bad?
Mick;
Illrose got up on her feet, watching Kahlan curiously as the other doe closed her eyes in concentration. For a while she couldn't feel anything, then suddenly a tingling sensation in her sides and neck, where most of the wounds and bruises were located.
"Thank you." Illrose then said to Kahlan, smiling. It was weird to think about the fact that the two of them had used to fight in the past, since Kahlan seemed really nice.
Toukan's brow furrowed in
"Oh, good." Illrose sighed in
"I mean, good that I didn't injured anyone." And besides, if she had hurt someone, surely someone would have told her. She had after all spoke to several friends now, and no one had mentioned anything about what she had done in her black deer state.
I don't know how to continue
"It's not a problem," Kahlan
"I think that should be you," She said.
Pega; Awh, I'm sorry, my muse
Awh, I'm sorry, my muse just went completely poof. ._. Nice to rp with you though. :')
Mick;
"But still, thank you." She casted a new glance over her own body. The largest wounds were still there, but at least she felt much better. She took some steps to the side, almost surprised that the stinging she usually felt in her side was gone. Illrose smiled, and shook some of the black hair away from her pale eyes.
"There's nothing I can do for you to return the favor, is it?"
"No need to repay me," Kahlan
"Alright, if you say so."
"He.. He's my brother..."
She had no idea what was going on with Cru, but she wanted to get to the bottom of it, even if she had to follow him around all night.
"Is he now? Then perhaps he
She looked coldly up at the
She was suddenly furious with her, but didn't show this, rather kept herself calm.
"I've been there for him through everything.. Who are you to tell me what my own brother needs? I know him, he doesn't want help a lot of the time. That doesn't mean he doesn't need it. Who are you to send me away from my family?" she said with a calmly controled tone.
She didn't fear this doe coming after her again... She would take it, for her brother.
Illrose snorted. "You being
"You being his family doesn't automatically mean he always want you around? I'm not the one who send you away, I just happened to notice he didn't run away from me. But from you and that...freak, on the other hand..." She had no other word to describe the other creature that had chased after Crucio. She had never seen anything like that before. Not that it mattered either.
"Look, I don't want to be
"These are family matters we need to work through, and though your intentions are good, you're not helping." she said, still calm, an odd thing for her..
"Fine." Illrose said after a
"Fine. He don't need me anymore, now that he have all of you to protect him. His family." Despite the cold in her voice it was hard to keep the sadness away. She had felt useless ever since she woke up with a memory loss. Completely useless - until today, until there was someone that needed her, that needed her protection. But others had taken that away from her now, so she wasn't needed anymore. With no more glance at the little doe, she turned around and left the group alone.
Aww.. I understand Illy's
Crucio will still come and be around her when she's here, of course. :< <3
Yeah, she have no clue what
And that's alright, Illrose don't blame Crucio for what happened. ♥
"It's been good talking with
"Likewise, Kahlan." Illrose
"Good bye, see you later." Illrose dipped her head in a bow as a farewell.
I need to stop falling behind
---
She paused for a moment, collecting thoughts in an attempt to find the best way to explain the entirety that was her.
Well for starters, this isn't my true form. I'm a shape shifter that only uses this form.
She pawed the ground awkwardly.
My true form is that of a creature that's known as a Thylacine. Hnn...family? I had family in another world, but...they're gone.
She ended the sentence bluntly, trying not to dwell on it too much.
My family here isn't too large, and I'm not blood related to anyone. Perhaps the names Jorogumo, Reed, and Iaurdagnire - or Dag for short - would ring some bells?
She only hoped they would.
( Pfft. ♥ ) Illrose
Illrose perked her ears and listened curiously as Lacie began to speak. So this wasn't Lacie's true form? She wasn't really a deer? Hm. And she had certainly never heard of a thylacine before. Illrose happened to notice that Lacie seemed uncomfortable when she shortly talked about her family.
"I'm sorry." She said, nudging her neck gently with her own cheek.
"Hm, I've met both Jorogumo and Reed, but I'm afraid this Iau...Dag, is unfamiliar."
Though her mouth wasn't
It's alright. It's been a long time since then.
Her ears seemed to droop in response to the doe's last words.
He was a good friend of yours. You should seek him out sometime. It might help with your memory...
Though considering that wasn't the case with her in that moment, she wasn't sure that would work.
She tilted her head
"I'm glad." She said, although she instinctively knew time didn't always matter when it came to that kind of pain.
"Hm, he was? That sound like a good idea. What does he look like?"
Hm...where to start... She
She thought for a moment.
He's a very large deer. One of the largest I've seen. He's like a fortress. Greyish blue fur, though his front is white with red markings.
She looked to her.
What'll probably get your attention though are his tines. They're huge and thick, like a strong forest.
There was that smile with her eyes again.
You don't have to worry though; he may look dangerous, but he's like a kitten really.
Illrose frowned as Lacie
"Oh!" She then exclaimed when she came to a sudden realization.
"I know who that is. I greeted him briefly the day we were watching that green doe giving birth. You remember that day?" Yes, Illrose remembered the stag now. Not taller than her, but with an really impressive crown of antlers that made him seem much larger than most others.
There was a silent
Yes, that's him. And yes, I remember that. Haha, Dag and his friend Gehirn ran like children during that. I assume they'd be the ones to faint at a birth like that. Men are silly. That fawn was beautiful.
She remembered the birth well, and the resulting celebration. Any birth was wonderful news for their world.
A smile appeared on Illrose's
"Gehirn is the black one, I guess? With the large, red antlers?" Illrose froze in the same second she had uttered the words. Large, red antlers...She closed her eyes for a moment, thinking. Then they shut open again.
"I used to have large, red antlers too!" She exclaimed when she remembered. But she didn't have to look at her reflection in the water to know her antlers were gone now. The light weight upon her head told it all.
