I might keep her as a fawn for awhile. She's so much easier to play; I wonder why...
Actually...no. Her name is not Cailyn. Just Lin. Why? Well, when I was registering my account, I wanted my user name to be 'Lin'. But I wasn't sure if the name was taken or not, and I didn't want to lose my picto since I was actually quite fond of it..so I was thinking of other usernames related to it. I remembered hearing the name 'Cailyn' from somewhere and I just put that down instead. That make sense? I'm tired. xD

I'm sorry to hear your forest still isn't working.
It's just giving you a black screen right? You know I wonder if maybe it isn't another program interfering with it? Because it black screens then errors whenever I have my tablet software installed [ so I rarely use my tablet because then I can't play -_- have to install and uninstall it all the time] So are there any new programs you may have gotten since this problem started...? -shug- ><

I was able to get my computer

I was able to get my computer fixed up a bit, so I may visit the forest more often.
And we were surprised to see Darcy so quickly; I logged in, left her idle for a few minutes and when I came back, D was there! <3

I play her as a fawn sometimes (well, a majority of the time, really) because it's, ahhh...easier?
Lin as a fawn and Lin as a full grown deer have two very distinct personalities. While Adult!Lin is more temperate and self-restrained, fawn!Lin is more mild and outgoing. She's friendly and loving and just overall fun to play as.
As for Herla..XD; Lin acted the way she did mainly because 1. she was unfamiliar with her and 2. the color of her fur - she's had bad experiences with DOTD-pelted deer, but is far more accepting of Herla than she'd normally because of her size and relationship with Darcy. Now that she spent some time with her, she's far more trusting.
On another note, you know of my connection problems, so expect delayed reactions and whatnot.
The forest doesn't lag /as/ badly, but it has its moments.
I don't go on the community that often, but when I do, it'll usually be after I've gone in the forest. I wasn't able to get on earlier because that night, we had a terrible storm and my power went out. Hope that cleared up some things!

Haha, I must apologize for

Haha, I must apologize for Nightmare's behavior. For the most part he was being an outright Grump before things happened due to a deer pushing their limits (The Kabuki Pelt/Real Deer Mask/Default Flowers) who had gotten into his space and didn't take no for an answer. When he left, they followed and things went from there.

I must say, Lin has quite the bit of confidence and boldness to come over by Nightmare after all that haha XD And to taunt him as well! She's such a cute fawn XD
