Appearance:
-Exceptionally strong, heavily muscled shoulders and neck.
-Has a long serpentine tail ending in a plume of peacock feathers.
-Wears the Kirin pelt, and a feather headdress of either the Kabuki or Skull mask.
-His head-dress holds immense spiritual and personal importance.

Personality:
-Comes across as silent, stern, even cold, but in actuality Queze is simply calculating the responses of others.
-If Queze is in a comfortable situation, his previous coldness turns into silly hopping and dancing. Queze loves to see other deer laugh, especially fawns.
-Queze's curiosity is endless; he can often be found observing groups of deer or 'stalking' lone deer. (If he is spotted he becomes very shy and embarrassed.)
-Loathes the cold and can be found huddled in the tall grasses during snowstorms.
-Queze sees most fights as boyish foolishness, but he does not take attacks against his friends lightly.

Past Life:
Once a priest of an Aztec temple, Queze had devoted his life to the service of the god Quetzalcoatl. Even as a human Queze held the mystical power to take his current deer form, a gift from his deity for his years of devotion. As a priest, he trained his body and mind so that he might hunt the sacrificial beasts, an act strictly taboo for the Aztec populace.

The Forest:
Queze's existence in the forest in unexplained. He has no memories of his arrival and any attempts to leave have ended in frustration. Queze still tries to uphold his beliefs but these seem strange to other deer, just as their actions sometimes seem mystifying to Queze. Now that he has spent more time among the other inhabitants of the forest, Queze has developed a fellowship with several others and has become more forward and confident with newcomers.

Queze has a very powerful moral compass that governs his actions. Some of his codes include;
-Death is natural, just like Life, something to be respected but not feared.
-Those weaker than yourself are to be protected as long as you have the power to do so.
-Queze has claimed the largest group of standings stones (in the playground) as his den and alter…He will protect it with his life, but is thrilled when others enjoy it as well.

They were doing so very generously. I appreciate your help, I don't know how much I could've done alone.

I have the church mouse picture on my desktop, and whenever I see it I want to type more about it. It's such a blessing to have, because it's so hard for me to find motivation! I'm working hard on your picture and I know you're going to love it.

Would we like to do this whole thing in one fell-swoop? I can send you a signed copy of the book, along with the drawing and the money with it all in one bundle. I think it would be less confusing then, and it should be out quite soon at the rate I'm going! Would that be ok?

Yes, Queze and Walter had a little confrontation over nothing, so he was just confused and worried that he might have hurt the old stag. Which I'm sure he didn't, as he was fairly reserved! Either way, they made up...sort of, Queze will try and petition Walter for his forgiveness next time they meet lol

Hehe I do love to make human/deer characters it would seem :B

Queze is a human who can take deer form. I've never really considered him a 'deer' and he doesn't think of himself as such either. Though very few of the Endless Forest deer actually act very 'deerish' lol.

Line was a human, and has now 'come back' as one of the Endless Deer.

Sinker isn't human. He is an Endless Deer who has chosen to adopt human characteristics and at times, take human form (to better interact with Line, actually).

Hook is just a fawn, he never was, nor never will be a real boy (lol Pinocchio :B)

More questions, if you've got them

edit: And no, Queze doesn't have a relation with the Hook, Line, Sinker story or their past, he just plays a small part in the story because I needed another deer I could control to narrate Dx
