Rutilus’ body is muscular yet lean, covered in thick golden fur with darker gold markings. His face is naturally human, but a brown realdeer mask may be held in place by an orange ribbon. He may also be seen wearing a Long mask, red, gold and white in colour. His hooves are black, and his eyes are a bright sky blue. The golden antlers atop his head are those of a regular deer, with red roses twisted around them. The newest set of roses were not given to him by anyone, and do not wilt. He may be seen with gold roses instead of red.

WINTER ANTLERS Default; Poppies
In Winter, Rutilus' fur becomes a little more thick, but otherwise his appearance does not change.
He may also be seen with the Great Argus pelt when he's feeling particularly joyful or showoff-y.
When depressed he may be seen with the Monarch Butterfly or Beluga pelt.
However, the Beluga pelt could also symbolise a suit for special events/parties/gatherings.

his 'niece'. like many closest friends, Rut misses her dearly. the night sky, however, reminds him she hasn't really left him. Rut had trouble staying close to both Polt and her mother, and truly wanted to somehow unite them, but never did. deceased.

very fond of, and would like to protect her from the world. however, upon realising she seemed to have no issues with Gehirn's demands for Rutilus to stay away from her, grew quite upset and disappointed in her. faint sense of sorrow.
Quad
a trusted friend. enjoys hanging out with, and worries when he realises the other stag is upset. tends to look out for.
Vala
an old friend he can't forget! loves to get revenge on her for spellcasting on him.
Kaoori
incredibly protective of, and looks out for. aside from that, loves dancing around and...poledancing with. enjoys snuggles. and floof.
Nate
akin to a drinking buddy without the drink. likes to wander around and have discussions with. jokers together. recently seems to have lost contact with.
Saosin
originally prejudiced against him, but finds him enjoyable to be around, if intimidating. seeks out when lonely. affectionate towards.
Disliked

lost the stag's trust after 'using' Virgil against him. recently lost respect for him after he ordered Rutilus to stay away from the stag's mate. furious with him.
Walter
respected the stag, once upon a time, but eventually grew to despise him, despite him being Jared's adoptive father of sorts. learned to fear the stag, too, and avoids him.
Old Friends
Auge
once a very dear friend. often had trouble thinking of her kindly after Poltergeist came along, and subsequently felt guilty for feeling that she was a bad mother. occassionally, he feared her. inactive.
Fenqua
used to be one of his oldest and dearest friends. enjoyed meaningless flirting with her, but also used to go to her for advice, and simply for company. was visited by her ghost after her death, right where he sleeps at night. often speaks aloud to her. deceased.
Rowan
once a romantic interest, a best friend, and a protegee. he was shattered when she 'died' and was greatly bewildered by the events that transpired afterwards. Rut misses her often, and the peacock set occassionally reminds him of her. deceased/gone.
Tuna
his old partner in crime, the rock to his roll. Tuna meant the world to Rutilus, and was there for him at times when everybody else was too disgusted and angry with him to do the same. has saved his life on numerous occassions, even without knowing it. was once very much enamoured with her, but was aware that it would be in vain. gone.
Lorak
an old friend that he used to dislike, due to the dark stag's generally depressing demeanor. now a close friend that he enjoys spending time with in the human world. often sits by Lorak's grave inforest to think. opens up to.
