A Very Lazy Day

Rou woke to find herself in an odd part of the forest, near a ring of mushrooms. She got up and stretched before she took a small scroll through the forest before she decided to rest for the day.

Forever my Friend

Simply a story of my 2nd day playing. Please post comments, I like to know if people like what they read or their critics. ^^ I don't mind negatives.

Akea first day ( Chapter 4 )

Akea walked along the side of the river, her mother on her side. They where going to the plane, where all the doe's went with their young to play around and talk. Akea's mother stoped at the middle of it all, and all the doe's turned to stare. " What. are. you?" A snobish doe asked, looking at Akea's mother. Her mother scowled " Don't you know a Elk when you see one?" She snaped, and the doe backed up. A doe steped forward, her face kind " I'm guessing your new here. Let me help you around." She said, her voice very kind. " I'm not new, I just haven't been here for years." Akea's mother said, looking down at Akea. Akea looked around the plane, seeing many fawns there. She frowned as she spoted Starlight, next to the doe that first spoke to her mother. She guessed that she was Starlight's mother. Akea nuged her mothers leg and said "Let's get out of here, ma." Starlight smiled wickedly and sneered "I hope you leave, for you are a sight for sore eyes....rabbit." Akea narrowed her eyes, opening her mouth to say something. Her mother nughed her side, warning her not to say anything. She closed her mouth, and followed her mother off the plane. She walked with her mother till they got to their den. She sighed and sat by the pond, her eyes dull and gloomly. Her mother sighed, and ducked her head on her way into the den. Akea was so deep in her thoughts, that she didn't notice Kota sit by her, very close. " Are you alright?" He asked, looking at her with soft eyes.

Akea looked at him with sad, puppy dog eyes. " Starlight, s-she so mean..." She said, her ears drooping. Kota rested his head on her shoulder, closing his eyes " I know...I know..."

Blah. Don`t have much muse for this character, but a little C

Anyone else notice this?

The fawns are wall-eyed. O-O I mean, the faces themselves are a little strange, but the stags are, as far as I can tell, looking forward. The fawns are looking behind them. o-o
Is there a reason for it, or was it because they felt like it? I don't have a problem with it, I think it's fine. I kinda think it's cute. But I was just curious. ^^

I have fixed the Windows 8 screenshot problem!!

copypasta from my forum update:
EDIT: I FIXED IT! Major thanks to some IT friends.

It turns out it isn't a container or compatibility issue, it's actually a permissions issue. The fix is simple, actually. Just need to run as administrator. It will ask you about it every time you run it from then on once you set it, but you will be able to take screenshots and they show up! No "compatibility files" button needed!

So, there are two ways to go about this. You could do it the super annoying way by right clicking and selecting "run as administrator" every time or...

~ Go into wherever your game is installed. ...Program Files (86)/Tale of Tales/The Endless Forest 3 is the default for 64-bit Windows 8 (which is what mine is).
~ Find ForestViewer.exe and right click then select properties.
~ Click on the compatibility tab (I know I said it wasn't a compatibility issue...technically it isn't) and at the very bottom there should be an unchecked box that says "Run this program as an administrator" under the Privilege section.
~ Check that box.
~ Hit apply.
