I hate to ask, but after trying the forest again after switching computers and upgrading to windows 10, I'm having a surprisingly frustrating time with hotkeys. Is there any way to either disable the functions so the F keys are freely usable without holding fn? I have to apparently reset my hotkeys every time I log in, and if I make the mistake of not holding fn, instant crash. :/ Any ideas?

No hacking, just file renaming.
Anyone know how to remove the border that surrounds the screen? I figured it'd be a really immersive way to play Starless if I can't see where people's pictos are, or notable landmarks.
Anyone know?

Hello everyone. To those of you who know me, I am sorry for my recent absence. However, I will not have internet for an undetermined amount of time. This is because my mother is behind on bills and things are a little tight... so a lot of things here will be on hold. This is also why I have been gone for the past two days.
This was a rare opportunity I got to get online. If I get more opportunities like this, I'll be able to participate in the rut and other events. Until then though, I'm pretty much stuck.
Thanks for hearing me out, and see you in the forest!

Twist eye was a fawn like any other. Neither buckling nor doe-child, it had managed to avoid attracting much attention from casters and was virtually scentless. Still, it seemed to want to make itself known. Twist eye was a creature of small stature and small voice, who hadn't even giving roaring a second thought, but it was a good runner and jumper, and hearing what she thought could be someone else nearby the plain fawn began hopping and bounding about, kicking up leaves and generally making a scene of itself.
The fawn was alone, having left the nice owl-deer that had let Twist eye and some other fawns follow along behind to explore on it's own. Finding the noise she had been following to be only a passing hare, Twist eye stopped wasting it's energy and took the time to lie down on it's belly, a little disappointed but no worse off than it had been.

Name for viewing:*Glyph/name coming soon*
Name for typing: Twist eye
Monikers: Mist-child, Bow-step
Gender: Ambiguous (physically appears as an antlered hind)
Can recognize: *glyphs and names coming soon*
Language known(for literate rp): None. Illiterate, Inarticulate.
current age: fawn
Personality: Twist eye is a bold, curious being that doesn't seem to understand the concept of personal space. It is very passive toward the moods of others, but may mimic them. It wears an ever passive expression, and runs wherever it goes. Twist eye likes to wriggle through the bars of the cage and meditate in it, but can be roused, if reluctantly, from that place easily enough. Twist eye loves the fog which bore it and likes to dance through it with as many others as it can. It seems to favor grey and black pelts, beaked masks, and large antlers.
History: Twist eye appeared as a child in the endless forest, during a thick fog. It met several other fawns and briefly was seen with an owl-pelted, short horned deer. It has not been here long.
Appearance: Still very young, Twist eye has very little to make her distinct from other fawns. It's pelt is starting to turn golden, but at will she can make it darker or lighter. She cannot yet change it's color or fade away her spots. Her face is peach, with little dark flecks surrounding her eyes.
