--Confrontation
Goals:
++To become the greatest stag of all time
++To conquer his fears
++To find friendship
Overall:
Uvaile is a very shy fawn. He avoids confrontation, lurking on the edges of parties and such. Despite his goals, Uvaile is quite the coward. If another of his kind were to approach, he would back away. If another deer were to run at him, Uvaile would turn tail and make like a tree... A very fast, frightened tree.
Any noise should make the fawn run. A falling tree, the sound of running deer, roaring... Just about anything. Fast movement makes him skittish, the fawn often running a few paces from whatever spooks him. If Uvaile were to believe he were being followed, the first place he'd run to would be the Playground. Rocks, logs and all sorts of obstacles would aid him in his flight of fear.
Another thing Uvaile can't stand is sunlight. He refuses to step hoof into it unless absolutely necessary. One such case would be getting to the pond to drink. If need be, Uvaile would only enter sunlight in a dead sprint. Unless safely in shadow, the fawn will not stop.

Happenings

I got back from the wedding 8:30PM yesterday and it seems that I missed the first Abio since I have been here. Well there's always next year so it's not the end of the world.

I've had some problems with the spelldata thingie. I have a folder where I have the copy of the spelldata.cgr and I tried copying it from the folder to the place where the real thing was, but I ended up losing my set. So it seems that I've to avoid water and logging out if I want to keep my set... Since getting the pelt is so much trouble, not the antlers or mask, but the pelt.

Thank you for helping me getting the pelt I wanted, it took whole morning before someone understood what I wanted/did it long enough. Though you got the right pelt at first spell.

Is it just me? O.o

Is it just me or is the sound of sneezing off spells harder than normal? O.o;

Tale of War (MUCH violence)

[=crimson]As I rest within the cool lake water, I cannot help but reflect on these last few days... and perhaps on days long past. My body has recovered for the most part by now. I laugh as I recall how I had been a few blows away from death's door only a few days ago, yet continued to battle like a fiend. Ah, the wonder of bloodlust. Perhaps I've fallen into savagery during the fog... though can I be blamed?

It occurred perhaps four or five days ago...

The fog was too thick to even cut with the sharpest of tines. So many deer had fallen lost to the blinding effect of the fog, stumbling into trees and tripping over those who decided to sleep. This was the perfect time for a hunter such as myself. I can't help but find an irony. These six eyes were meant to be a part of the curse those demons left upon my physical frame, but their function ability leaves me a more capable hunter than most wolves or dark hearted deer. Covered by the fog, potential victims would not recognize me as I approached... I had found a stag, curled up in the dirt, sleeping like a fawn. I remembered my hunger...

So easy a move... to kill a stag in his sleep... I dropped my teeth into his jugular, and tore. Drink up the blood as it spills, then bite threw fur into the veal underneath. True, fawn is much tenderer, but bares none of the challenge of a real hunt... though in truth, neither does killing a sleeping stag. At least it provided enough of a meal to satisfy for a while. A horrified gasp caught my attention.

Yards away, a stag with what must have been a butterfly's pelt and fan antlers, watched me eating. I believe, this one was named Darcy? Laughing, I took another few bites before leaving. Who am I to spare another from nightmares?

While one day may bring peace...

[=white][i]...the next can bring anything but.
Again I must wonder if changes in weather are cause for changes in nature.
Yesterday was filled with pleasant sunshine, and the meeting of the Priest. We shared a calm walk through the forest, he almost reading my mind as he commented on how things must appear different through the eyes of a stag than through the eyes of a fawn. The day ended with a brief encounter with the dark one I call my companion. Though, as has happened once before, while I was still a small fawn, his appearance and manner were changed. He had to be off quickly, though, as did I, so that ended my day, slumbering in a patch of sunshine I discovered.
But as I said, while one day may be peaceful, it can change in the next.
I must have encountered at least four clashings of antlers on this day.
And I am exhausted.
Not from taking part in the fighting, no.
But from holding to my vow of protecting those that need it.
My silent pleading as I stood in the middle of each quarrel seemed to have no effect on the combatants. I continued to get in the way, though. This had to end. I had heard of this one who was being attacked, and he was not the one looking for fights, despite past deeds. I had also heard the victim had forgiven him, so why could not his attackers?
Soon, my patience snapped, when the one who had started this fight began attacking not his initially intended target, but the one doe with us who was not part of the fight!
That did it.
I lowered my antlers at this foe.
I had been holding back from doing so before, knowing the huge tines would cause great damage if used.
I did not like having to resort to this, but the message finally got across. They soon backed down, though it took a bit more convincing, and finally, there was peace. Both parties involved forgave each other.
Peace has a way of not lasting, of course.
A series of smaller scuffles followed, quickly broken up, thank the Gods.

More fun with Plushie Quad and Plushie Zephyr!

I'M OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS FOR PHOTOS WITH QUAD AND ZEPHYR! Just comment your ideas!

They decided to explore a little of my back yard today:

Quad: "Zephyr?! Where'd you go, Zephyr?!"

Zephyr: "Hehe!"

Zephyr: "BOO!!"
Quad: 8O *faints*

They decided to check out my satsuma tree afterwards.

Zephyr: "Ooo satsumas! Someone tell the Twin Gods to make these ripen soon!"
Quad: "Now now! Patience is a virtue! They'll be ready sometime around October or November."

They decided to come inside and hang out.

Zephyr: "Wow, Dad! Your stuff is really cool!"

Zephyr: "...although it doesn't seem to fit me."
Quad: "That's ok. Can you give it back, now? I don't really like being naked."

And upon popular request...

Zephyr: "Fathers are nummy! ^_^"

And lastly, something freaky...

I'll give you a sec to figure that out.

Well, while I was taking photos of Quad and Zephyr, I didn't let Brandy come out with me, so she was sitting in the window watching what I was doing.

Peace and Turmoil

The Priest

The peace and quiet still reigns over the forest. The feeling that darkness has clung to the forest is still there, but it has faded to the back of my mind for the moment. I am finally enjoying my time here, relaxing into the peace of the forest.

The rest is doing me much good. I feel stronger every day now; the aches and pains are dulling. The chirps of the birds, the shallow lapping of the pond, the wind in the trees; all of it has relaxed me. I can walk now, but only in small bursts. Soon, I shall be able to move freely again.

I dread the day that that happens. If only I could simply enjoy the peace of the forest forever. However, I have my duties. I am here for a reason. The Gods have decreed it.

And so it shall be done...

-The Priest

The Fawn

I can't move. It's not because I physically can't. If I wanted to, I could get up. My wounds have pretty much healed, though I still get dizzy. But I haven't moved since I last came to the pond. I don't want to be in my dream forest any more.

But I know I can't leave.

I've woken up a lot now, always in my forest. I haven't seen a sunny day yet, though. I haven't seen mommy yet either.

Each time I wake up, somebody comes by. I just curl up and ignore them. I can't stand them anymore. I want to be home, not here. Not here with this stupid dream and the stupid dream deer.

I hate this dream. I wanna go home.

I'm not gonna move though. I know that all I'll see is my dream forest. Maybe if I stay here long enough, I'll wake up.

But it's not my dream forest anymore. It's too real.

I just wanna go home.

((Just a little post on what The Priest and The Fawn will be doing while I'm gone. Sticking out tongue))
