Fanart-a-thon week... 13? WHAT WEEK IS THIS!?

I think it's week 13! Lol.

I'm glad that some of you have stuck along with this for so long.

There's a few people that I'm rather dissapointed in... A few people who have already HAD their weeks, and are -very- behind in their art. ):

However, there are on the other hand, many people I am -very- proud of, people who are missing NO art, and haven't even had their week yet! (:

Here's this week's subject...

Visions

The first screenshot is normal, the rest are experiments... I'm trying to figure out how far I can edit a screenshot to tell a story about an alternate vision of the forest, while allowing the image to maintain some of its original elements. If you like or don't like something about one of the images, I'd like to hear it - critique is welcomed

Is Escape Possible?

I tried to escape from the Endless Forest today ... and discovered that it isn't so much endless as bent around on itself so that I ended up where I started.

I assume that the boundary operates as an exit and entry point. There's no clear sign of this, however.

Of course, I don't have any real proof of this at the moment because I can't make any 'mark' on this forest. So when I come to an identical place I don't really know if it is the same place or not - if you see what I mean. (I'll write a blog about the need to make a mark later).

Does this matter? I'm not entirely sure. But part of my new fawn self seems to want to run and run for ever without ending up where I started. I want to chose whether I mingle and mix with other fawns and stags or whether I wander off into the wilderness.

Perhaps I should confess at this point that I am almost Canadian. In the process of gradually becoming Canadian in sensibility I have learned of the importance of 'untamed' wilderness as a (kinda) spiritual place. Part of its spiritual value comes with the ability to escape.

Well, you might say, this is supposed to be a community. How could it function as a community and as an emerging story if everyone wandered off into the wilderness never to be seen again? And, if you said this, you would have a good point.

Whats up?

Boy have I missed this place. Barf! But Im back. Im leaving sometime tomorrow but I get to take my PC with me. * I smell cookies *

Rouga's Body Language

I decided to make this separate from Rouga's bio

Hopping in circle = Excited

Hopping in circle + roar = "Let's play!"

Bow = Hello

Bow + step backward = Good bye

Sad + lay down = "I have to leave the forest now"

Scratch + anger = "I don't like you!/ Leave me alone!"

Scratch + rear = Annoyance

Confusion + rear = "I REALLY don't understand"

Scratch + run away a bit + turn back + scratch again = "Follow me!"

Scratch + anger = "Do you want antlers?"

Scratch + listen = "Do you want a mask?"

Scratch + spin circle = "Do you want a pelt?"

Run up to deer + scratch = "Can I join?"

Amazement + rear = Very surprised

Scratch root of mushroom tree = "Can you give me a mask, please?"

Scratch pine tree = "Can you give me antlers, please?"

Scratch + lay down = "Can you give me a pelt, please?"

Nod + bow = "Thank you"

Shake head + bow - "No, thanks anyways"

All I can think of now, will update once in a while Laughing out loud

Iduvine's Diary - The tale of the white dove 2:1

[=#374965]My third day in the forest started of well.
I woke up next to the crying idol, the beautiful popples was dancing with the wind.
I layed there for a moment and enjoyed the wonder of nature, but after some time I got up on my feets and carefully looked around. I could see some deers playing at the pond and as I stood there litening to the purling of the crystal clear water i suddenly felt how thirsty I was. I trotted down the small river on my way to the pond, as I took my first steps out in the cool water I slowed down and started to walk. When the water reached my knees I stopped, lowered my head to the clear water surface and started to drink.

When I came up from the water I once again looked around, the forest was very quiet at this time. I started to walk through the forest not knowing where to go.
I passed a little lonley fawn on my way through the birch forest and it started to follow me.
I'm not very fond of fawns, all they know about life is that it's a game. They play around al day long, that's not someting I enjoy. I tried to tell the little one that he should leave but he didn't listen to me, I got quite fustrated but instead of chasing him of I layed down and stayed there until the little fawn got bored and ran his way.

As I went back to the pond I saw that it had gotten more crowded since I left it and I stood hidden behind a tree and watched the other deers running around.
One of the deers I recognized from yesterday, the deer with remarkable big antlers and glimmering masks hanging from them. I was wondering why this stag were wearing masks on his antlers but after some time I didn't think of that no more. When I once again were on my way dow to the pond to drick a big stag showed up in front of me, he weared no set at all and looked exactly like those nameless deers. I backed away from him as I felt usure of what his intensions was but he followed.
