about dehumidifiers...

I was just lent one from the residential department as it's been really humid and I have having problems. As it's now fall, they turned off the air conditioner until next spring so therefore they lent me a dehumidifier just so I can have a dry dorm.

Now I have it running but what do I have to do next? Which modes are which? The settings it has is a continous mode and on the same knob at the bottom, there's Low to More Humidity settings. Which ones am I supposed to turn on as I'm drying out the air in my dorm?

The dehumidifier is a frigidaire dehumidifier 30 pint.
