Since this happened last night, I will record it now despite already having made a daily post.

Last night my baby sister took a swing at the game. I sat with her to help her out with what little I had learned. To my surprise, she rather enjoyed it. She wanted desperately to have candles on her antlers but I'm not sure baby deer can even do that-let alone how to do it. This frustrated her a bit but she found a mask she really liked and it cheered her up.

What I liked the most was how many "friends" she was making. She met three or four younglings like herself and danced with them. One of which bestowed her with a new mask, seemingly deleting the one she liked. My sister chased this one and bucked angerily at it until it ran off. I, myself, would have been very hesitant in using agressive behavoir but to each their own.

The night ended with my sister being purple with large antlers and a mask which looked like a painted plank over her face. Not my first choice, but whatever makes her happy. I hope she keeps playing. This might end up being a good way for her to relax after a long day.

I'm wondering how I do a screenshot..?

I've tried pressing P which it says to do on the instructions but doesn't seem to work, because when I look in my screenshot's files there isn't anything there...

I can't believe I've been playing this for over a month, waiting for my baby deer to grow to an adult without knowing I had to sign in this website to make the countdown start. What an absolute plonker I am!

I love this game though, I think its really good how they've made it without a chat, to avoid any unnecessary usage. Although I think they could do with putting a few more actions & motives on as it can become rather boring after a while.

I love the graphics on the game. I like how realistic the deer sound when they are running through the forest, I like the idea of having magic to change your deer's appearance, I also like the feature where you can change into another woodland animal.

My first session was a couple of days ago and very brief.
My friend and I were sitting at the computer and I started up the game. We beheld a sleeping deer that became a faun when I logged in. I had a human face and was colored normally. The first thing I noticed was a menu-like thing at the bottom on the screen. There were no words so I had no idea what these buttons do. I tried some out.

Fortunately I was able to recognize agressive behaviors and made a note not to use these when I came across other players. I clicked another button and my faun mooed at me. It was cute but I found the noise strange and loud. Other cries soon joined my own and I knew I was not alone. I sought out the others.

I found a group of adult deer resting on the ground, along with a couple of young ones like myself. I was given a crown of flowers somehow and my name began to glow. I freaked out because I had no idea what it meant. My friend and I were laughing in confusion. Suddenly, I was orange and black-I looked like a monarch butterfly. I was overjoyed but confused.

I logged out shortly after.

1. What time of day would I be able to find big group gatherings?

2. I've been playing for a couple of months & I haven't seen any change of weather.. only day & night..?

3. Why haven't I changed into an adult dear yet? I've been playing well over a month..

Yeah I was wondering if we're gonna even have a Secret Santa this year. I've hadn't seen BubblyWums around here at all since my return and I remember she was setting it up like last October.

So...I was thinking that maybe I or one of us to start the event for this year or shall we wait and see if Jen will come around to start it?

Actually I made uo my mind that this year I shall start on Secret Santa 2011. Just allow me a little time to organize the rules and guidelines. Also can someone be kind to link me to the old Secret Santa 2010 blog so I can go by it?

What is Secret Santa?

How do I participate?
Sign ups are currently avaliable from November, 12th to December 1st. After the sign ups, you will all have about a month until December 31st to send your gifts to your designated person.

I was so disappointed to miss the abiogenesis on Halloween night. I had to work. But on
daylight savings day, I did see some cool things in the night at De Drinkplaats. A giant
goldfish, a heiroglyphic pot full of fire, a green firework, lightning.. They appeared
randomly, once every few minutes while I stared toward the fountain near the back
of the well at the edge of the mushroom circle while still inside of it while manifesting
as a squirrel from a fountain change and having a squirrel shape in normal play.
I wonder if this is another cool secret that I found by mistake.

Was this Michael or Auriea or something that happens at night during holidays there?
Maybe one of you can tell me if special effects from abiogenesis happen at De Drinkplaats at night.


I also encountered an echo deer effect, one golden deer with natural antlers and purple
flowers was dancing with around ten multiple copies of himself and they followed each
other in action, rearing at the same time, laughing, dancing,etc. This happened by the
pond.

Then they formed a conga line and later on a circle. See my screenies in this post.
Is this that one individual whom people are saying who can hack in multi-deer tricks?

This happened right after the strangest game glitch I've ever seen, I had a devout pelted
copy of myself following right next to me to my left out of love glow range and it did the
exact same things I did at exactly the same time perfectly without any delay. It was like
a white mirror image ghost. I could even sit with this echo and mess with game settings.
I was in the Blue Bowl when it happened on Nov 1st just running through it randomly
in the brown deer pelt with candle antlers wearing the deer muzzle mask.

I finally caught a sunset. Still wishing to wake up to a rainy day in the forest.

But, I digress.
