Happy Birthday
Hello! ^-^ It was such a long
It was such a long time, when we talked last time!
I understand you so much! I've had something bad in my life too, and it left bad thoughts and feelings in me too. They keep eating me, but I am fighting too.
Do not want to disturb you by asking, what happened to you, because I understand, how it is. But I am still a little curious. But I'll keep it with me ~
Your hand! Oh, I've never broke my bones o_O Is it was wery painful for you? [iamsorryforstupidquestion]
I hope, your hand is ok and that your art won't be insulted by that incident .-.
Can I ask something else..?
How often are you in Forest now? I always so wanted to meet ya :3
I still remember, when I met your Quamar sitting on the Pond tree branch
May be some of our characters can become friends or something? ^_^ I do not know, I just miss you somehow .-. Did not wanted to disturb you, because I thought, that you have too many things to do, and do not have time to talk with people like me.
(I am still remember everything, that you did for me, and I love you as person and consider you as wonderful friend :3)
I did not knew, that you weren't outside your country too! 8D
I live in Estonia and never was outside. Would you like to meet once? XD
And I am so sorry for incredibly late 'Hyvää syntymäpäivää!'
Fel in corde, fraus in factis.
Raktea - dsfhskdf late
Maybe soon there will be a notebook invasion around. Just wish we had had the time to make more of them. We even have one or two TEF-themed notebooks. <3
Th-thanks.. ;;<3
SoliloquyChryseis - Thank you! :)

Hello there! Indeed, it's been a while! :)
Hang in there and keep fighting. I'm sure life will get better for you sooner or later. Sometimes we all have to face these rougher phases in life but when we're through those times, we will see it was all worth the fighting when life starts smiling at us again.
I guess nothing big really happened to me back then.. nothing radical. I guess I was just sort of left alone in real life, friends took their own paths in life... found boyfriends and moved out of the town with them so I was kind of left here, then. It definitely didn't do me good to sit home 24/7 between four walls so slowly I fell more and more into depression. Surprisingly deep into it, actually. I've never really been lonely before that, I was used to the fact I always had friends so that was quite frightening that I suddenly actually had no one in real life. There are other reasons there and there that just fed my depression and made it worse but I guess being left alone kind of started it all.
If it wasn't for my online friends, I dunno what would have I done. I'm grateful to them.
BUT, my years of depression are over now. I've got plenty of new friends and I'm in a happy, carefree relationship, got plenty of plans for this summer and everything. Life is definitely smiling at me once more and I'm happy I didn't give up on fighting.
Hahaha, no need to worry! I broke my hand when I was in kindergarten! I was so small I barely even remember all of it.. my right arm is working perfectly fine. :D
Well, it did hurt like hell, though.
Hmm, honestly I've had very limited amount of time in the forest lately.. I simply haven't had the time. So I'm quite rarely visiting the forest for now.
But glad to hear you have some memories of my silly Quamsies. :>
Awws, you.. you're so sweet yourself. <3
Heh, well maybe one day I'll pack my bags and leave out to the world. Would love visiting some Asian country. Somewhere different and exotic. ;P
Where would you like to go if you were given the freedom to choose?
And thank you. :>

Just to let you know, there's a 9-minute Director's Cut version of the trailer out. Though I'm guessing you might have already seen it?
Either way, I'm quite excited myself. I do miss Hayter quite a lot, but I can't help but shake the feeling he's involved somehow. His tweets and just...I don't know. There's something going on, and it's making me wonder.
So far, I do like the new voice (Though people are constantly saying they hear Jack Bauer and I know nothing about him so I don't really care - I humorously thought today that it was kind of funny how it's a "Jack" voice since "Jack" was Big Boss' nickname once.
I still call him that on occasion. Especially when blogging MGS3-related things. Dorktastic prince. Hng.).I have Rising, and I absolutely love it. But hey, if it ain't your cup of tea, it ain't your cup of tea. (:
I understand you once again.
Whoops! 8D Then I am quiet :3
To be honest sometimes I feel fear, that something can happen to my right hand, so I will not be able to draw anymore... that's why I am started to train my left hand o_o
Last year was the year of thoughts for me, so I understood, that if I will not move, if I will not do something to leave from here, then nothing will help me to do so.
That's why now I am searching for places, where is most easily for us to move. (Us, I mean me and my friend, Riko wants to move with me ^^)
First place that I wanted to visit was Finland, because you are our neighbor and I was interested in that country.
After some time people told me, that it is easier to find your place in England, but when I watced their prices, I was like O_O'
Next place was Austria. I am still thinking about it. On the same place is Germany.
Not so long time ago we've met one person, who told us about Sweden, and I am now still thinking. It is hard to choose, when you are going to leave, when never was somewhere before .-.
If not to focus on living, I would like to visit Finland anyway ^-^, Poland, Norway, Sweden, Italy and USA, Ohio.
P.S. I saw your screenshots from Skyrim *__* Amazing game! Have you bought it or have found online? *dreams to play*
Fel in corde, fraus in factis.
Mjrn - Yess watched the
Yess watched the director's cut as well <3
The lack of Hayter takes off a lot from the game for me -but- I'm sure the game itself will be real epic and entertaining. I wonder if he'll be in some way involved, then..? I haven't read any rumors or such...
We shall see. Would be great seeing him involved in some way. :<
Jack.. :| This all kind of makes me want to play MGS3 again, hnnnh. Should also get myself Peace Walker at some point.. I WANT ALL THE GAMES! *throws moneys all around*
Haha, good it's to your liking then :D
For me it was too much of... smashing and slicing stuff and dunno, going overboard with all of it.
Shanol-
Glad you've got those people around you, hold on tight on them and you'll be fine. :)
I hope things will get better for you soon. I'm sure there are many good things in your life and moving together with your friend must be really exciting. All the best luck for you in finding a place to live in! ♥
Holy Crap what the hell is
You want to play all the
The only game series that has made me cry... sdfjhsdf. >:|
Hayter made a bunch of
Someone mentioned that his new voice actually leads well into his MGS4 voice, and the more I listen to it, the more I agree.
Gonna pick up the Legacy Collection? I almost went and looked for a copy of the HD collection, and then that got announced, and I'm glad I waited. Preordering that soonish. Unless you mean you want it for the PSP? I don't even have one, so it'll be nice to get my hands on the game either way. I actually haven't played the Metal Gear Solid games in a long ass time. I never even started 4, even though I do have a copy of it. I've been trying to get back into the gaming world, but I keep finding myself busy with other things, hahahaaa. ): I will say though that this year's E3 really got me excited, and I'm really, really hoping that within the next month or two, I can preorder a PS4. Even though I just got my PS3 this past Christmas. (8 And I still need a 3DS because POKEMONERMAHGAWD. Sylveon's my soul Pokemon.
I'm getting off track. Sorry.I guess, when you look at it, the gameplay is a bit simplistic, but I find it very fun and engaging. Parrying is an acquired skill, definitely. I still have troubles with that, but I'm getting better - which is good, since I'm on the final boss fight and I'm getting my ass kicked hard omfg. If anything, maybe give the soundtrack a listen, especially the vocal tracks? They make me splooge a lot. fkdakf
Ahaha, yeah? It's funny, because I honestly hated Raiden when he first came out, and now, I absolutely adore him. My crush is more or less platonic, to me, he's just cute and adorable.
Samuel, on the other hand....JESS PLAY ALL THE GAMES OK TRUST ME YOU WON'T REGRET IT. WELL, YOUR FEELS MIGHT, BUT THAT'S OKAY.
Bwuahahah XD I may have to...
WHERE IS MY PATIENCE LOL
Mjrn - I didn't know any of
I didn't know any of that.. D: Dammit, they're playing tricks on us again! They love doing that, don't they? :D
Alright, maybe this gave me a bit more hope as a Hayter fan.
The new voice isn't bad at all but it's sill not Hayter, it's not the same so that's a bit meh for me. But I can live with this, though, as the new voice isn't any bad at all.
Legacy Collection, eh? I checked it up and got extremely tempted... as my MGS2 disc for good ol' PS2 isn't working anymore. And don't exactly own the first MGS anymore either so my collection isn't complete anymore. So fecking tempting to get it all on PS3 and the second and third games in HD quality.. 8| I.... have to get all the money in the world. ksdjfhsd.
PS4, lucky duck. I know I won't be having the money for it for a loong, long while so I'm gonna have to wait. But I know my bro will get it for sure so it's not like I wouldn't get to play one... BD
Bwahaha! Good luck with the final boss..
jkdhfsdf I was so young so can only blame that for liking him. Later on got annoyed at his whining and all. Snake and Big Boss are my one true love forever. ;P
Btw, I really, really love the character designs in mgs games. Specially The Cobra Unit was just... awesome to me. MGS 1 characters were so good as well.. There are so many amazing character concepts in these games, can't help but love them.. gahh, can't even pick my favorite.
----------
JESS, JESS YEAH JESS PLAY. Actually, I recommend you to give the first MGS a try. Yes, it has old graphics indeed that in these day's standards might look ugly [I remember as a little kid I was aweing HOW GOOD GRAPHICS IT HAD, OMFG.] but the story is really good. And yes, it might make you cry. MGS 1&3 are the most emotional games of the series, in my opinion.. making them my personal favorites. MGS1 is worth a try, I promise. ;P
With AC series I can totally understand you, though.. I wouldn't want to touch the first one anymore either, rofl. Luckily I got it when the game released so not facing your problem here... buuuut it's not a bad game, either. I get your problem, though... :D
^ that was comment number
Anyway, ah, thankfully you understand then. Some others rage at me saying 'NO PLAY THE WHOLE GOD-DAMN SERIES YOU IDIOT DON'T START HALF WAY THROUGH THE FRIGGIN' GAME'.. and like I said, I cannot be arsed so yes.
AHA. Well, hey, it sounds like it's totally worth a try. Perhaps I will. I'm sure if I get the latest then I will because that's how I felt with AC! I didn't want to continue until I knew the rest of the story- I attempted reading the AC books instead (that's just how unmotivated I was to not play the game) and I gave up as well... lol ;-;
But this game seems like an interesting story. I think I remember hearing about it when I was younger, but not being old enough to play. So I never looked further into it. Well, now I shall try again. XD
Ahh, so this seals it.. I
Yeah well, who would want to play them old games while there are all these new big, friggen beautiful games around... 8|
Myself I'm a real whore when it comes to graphics.. I rarely play games that seems ugly to me which is kind of shame too since perhaps there are other good games out there like MGS1 that have old graphics but are still breathtaking as gaming experience. Hmm..
With the first AC game, the graphics are still nice, though. No need to do a timetravel back to the PS1 times... :D But the controls/fighting moves and such are more basic of course... while in the latest games you can interact so much more with your environment. I just love to see the games developing like this... wonder what kinda games they'll make in the future, like, ten years from now on.
Oh, and I guess it's really hard to jump on into AC games from the middle. Just with the way the story goes. But perhaps you could watch some playthroughs if you don't feel like playing the first game yourself?
Comee... jump into MGS fandom..... Play MGS3 and I promise you that you'll cry like a baby for the rest of your life. ;_;
Bwuahaha... THOSE
Yes. Just yes. I totally freak out over simple things, like.. Having the ability to sit in a chair. Pick random objects up. I love interactive games - but mostly, like you say, games with beautiful graphics, which usually are the most interactive anyway. GAAAH <333 I want a game with pretty graphics in a forest, or something. I love forest-y areas in games... When there are small details such as bushes moving as you brush past them... Birds... XD
Those little things bring
I agree with you so much, hnngh! I love any game where you're allowed to roam in nature and hunt for your own food and pick up plants for various of purposes. I'm looking at you, Skyrim and MGS3. ksdhfsdf.
Like... you'd be just fine even without the story if you just can roam and hunt.
I've had a few dreams about TEF having Skyrim graphics. My god, the amount of WANT. 8|
Ever tried out Uncharted series? Also one of my very favorite game series, the graphics are just.. ahh. Really enjoying those games.
You're so kind~ As always
*hugs ya tightly*

Had to go back through a thread and look, but here are the more important ones. There was a "New Coke" theory going around (And he referenced New Coke in a tweet after E3), but even I found that a bit...out there. Has to do with an advertising stunt Coca Cola did years ago.
Eh, I'm hoping. Knowing me, my chances are slim though. My family's cheap, I had all I could do to convince my mother to buy me the PS3 for Christmas, ehehe...
I honestly like Big Boss more, as I simply find him more personable and more...human, for lack of a better word. I do like Snake though, I felt awful for him in MGS4.
I can't help it but Samuel Rodrigues is mine, but he's a Rising character so lololol :'DMmm, me too. Interestingly enough, I kinda like the more simplistic ones. Like, if I had to list my favourite designs from each game, it would be...
MGS 1 - Sniper Wolf
MGS 2 - Emma
MGS 3 - EVA
MGS 4 - Naomi (even though I hate her otherwise omfg I'm glad she died).
...And they're all female. LOOOOOOOOOOOOL. )':
The Cobra Unit was pretty good too. The Fear was probably my favourite there, though I really liked The Fury's design too.
I haven't tried Uncharted!
I loved Red Dead... Still do. You can already see how graphics have improved since, but it's beautiful. The landscape is so AAAH <333 I'm going to buy the new GTA releasing this year. The map is so SO much bigger, and looking at screenies there are mountains and stuff. Beautiful places to visit. XD I hate how the game is clearly aimed at guys, BUT THAT AIN'T GONNA STOP ME. The graphics are to freaking beautiful to resist... *-*
Mjrn- ahh, thanks for these
ahh, thanks for these bits of information. Now I'm a bit itchy about what's going on... :D
Definitely gonna start keeping my eyes more open now for this stuff...
Ah... Well, I hope you'll get it still. I feel for ya, my family was always poor so if wanted to have something more expensive, had to do some money saving myself too to get them for Christmas or b-day. I guess I'll try working to get it myself, maybe commissions and such. Lots of work but...
Though there's no hurry, really, while owning PS3. <3
Samuel... oh that guy. Seen so many pictures and gif sets of him around tumblr already.. :D
Mrrm Sniper Wolf is one of my very favorites too.. <3 EVA was also great, so many MGS3 characters were awesome to me..
The Fear indeed was my fave too from The Cobra Unit... ::D
And for some reason I had sympathies for The End.
Raktea-
TRY IT. It's a really nice game series, at least check them out. 8D
Annngh.... that would be just so neat..
Red Dead is still good looking game to me.. ;P The horses are so well animated <3
And that game is fucking fun in many ways... I'm waiting for the newest GTA as well, actually. Liked the previous GTA games but this one seems indeed pure awe for those foresty areas and all o_O
Ahhh I gotta runnnnnn ->
btw, I really enjoy talking about games with you guys. B|
My PS nick is Quamarbird, feel free to add me if you wish. 8>
Why do you guys tantalize me
Not a problem. I'm definitely interested too.
Yeah, same here. I got into the next gen so late, but I'm stoked for this gen already. Sony's conference was just fantastic and beautiful and utterly destroyed Microsoft it felt so amazing and just yeah. Ah, true. Phantom Pain is supposed to be released on PS3 actually, but ahhh. Probably going to get the PS4 version whenever I get my hands on one.
Yeah...he's kinda all over the place haha. He's a hard character to truly hate, I think. I just find him so different from everyone else, particularly in the game itself. Bladewolf's my other favourite from that game, especially the redesign he gets after Raiden rescues him. I found it to be one of the most beautiful robot designs I've seen.
MGS3 was my favourite out of the games besides, I don't know why exactly. The characters and the story really helped, though some of the environments were absolutely gorgeous too.
The End was pretty cool, though I actually did the "fast forward the PS2 time to one week later" (Except I didn't realize at the time I could manually change the clock, so I literally waited an entire week to pick the game back up lolololol.) because I couldn't be arsed to sit for an hour and play sniper with him. A user on YouTube makes a bunch of videos of himself playing the games (MGS3 in particular, and this guy is a riot), and he spent almost an hour doing nothing but sneaking up on him and knifing him to death. It was almost comical. One of these days I'll fight him properly.
I really like his parrot, it's a cute touch.Though there's also a spot where you can snipe him early on and kill him without having to deal with him later. Pretty sure it's at the warehouse where Ocelot tries playing roulette with Sokolov. After the cutscene, you have a brief window to shoot either The End or the barrels behind him and kill him. It is a relatively cheap trick, but then again, so is playing with the clock on the actual system haha.I'll be sure to add you. My PSN handle is Orvascissors. You can add me too Jess, if you want. (:
BUT, GUYS. I HAVE AN XBOX
I am considering getting then next PS4 instead of the next Xbox though... There are a few games on the PS I really want to play; Reason I got Xbox is because I know more people with it, so I had friends to play with. But PS3 games I want... FFFFFFFF. Little Big Planet, Journey, I'd purchase Okami again no doubt.. Shadow of the Colossus was amazing on the PS2. Are they still releasing that other game the same company were making? ...Guardian, something or other? Or was it cancelled? It was delayed so many times pfffft
ButI'mGoingToGetTheNextPlayStationOrAtleastI..Think<3

Hiii Jin. (: Here's a chart
Here's a chart that explains the differences between XboxOne and PS4. Though it has been confirmed that the PS4 is a more powerful system, if that's what you're interested in.
I'm not sure what Gaikai is, but I'm going to assume that, for the most part, yes there's backwards compatibility.
[e] Okay, so maybe not. This is the most recent article I can find. Really need to look into Gaikai and see what exactly it is. From what I can tell, it's basically a type of Cloud service, and you'll probably need a subscription for it.
I don't understand the bit of
Reading that chart, I'm leaning towards PS4 by far. Thanks for the link! XD

Which is pretty damn stupid.
I don't... understand...
Something about going fully
They've basically dug their own grave at this point. At least it made for a fantastic E3 with Sony shredding them.
Also, if you didn't think Microsoft was screwed already, give this a watch. Better hold on to that 360 there, Jess.
Mhm. They messed up on
I think they need to back-track on some of their ideas... Totally messed up lol.
It's really just a huge slap
At this rate, Microsoft is just burying themselves more and more. And if they even so much as try to "fix" any issues at this point? It's only going to make them look even more pathetic than they do now. Microsoft is actually infringing on consumer's rights, which should never happen to begin with.
To be honest, all the issues with XboxOne can be summed up by one completely accurate YouTube comment (on a video of Sony's conference):
"It's kind of sad when people are cheering for something that should be present without even a second thought."
XD Good Luck meeting his

dfighdigdf summer and long drives, hurrgh! Well, nice going around and all, seeing new places. But enough is enough, I think. :D
I calculated that very recently I've traveled +1200 kilometres in total. For me that's a lot.
Been somewhere nice yourself?
Ahhhh the hermit life, how I've missed it! *rolls on internet life and grows fat*

Haha, nice to hear some people are still bothering to read, considering how inactive I've been here these days. I was sure people would have forgotten me already. :<

This is a very old blog
But thank you, glad you like it!
Your updates make me jelly.
How limited? 0: I know how
I know how you feel, though. I never got to go anywhere earlier in my life, really. Like.. everyone were just telling how they had been in places but my parents never took me anywhere and before meeting Narina and my boyfriend I had no one to go with. With the latter mentioned we like to make small trips around the near by places and towns. Doesn't need to be far yet possibly still get to see new stuff. Just random exploring and taking photos for fun. (though we do have two more bigger trips to be made before the summer ends. And probably one with Narina as well.)
Feels like this summer has made up the fact I never got to go anywhere earlier in my life. And the two recent summers as well when traveling to Kotka to Narina. Gods, do I love getting to do this stuff now...
Hope you'll get to do things as well and find some good traveling companions. Don't necessarily have to go far to enjoy yourself, visiting any more near by towns can be fun as well. ;P
No, I am inactive around
