He had been resting for some time watching them. More specifically he was watching them jumping all around his friends attempting to get attention. It was so bothersome this show of theirs.
A bit pathetic too.

A tricky little trap to get a fawn to run close so they could fake attack it and stir up more trouble.

The two beings sitting by the bridge kept their eyes forward and ignored the display. They were no fools by most standards and would not go play that little game. There were better things to do.

He watched their silly little display for some time before sighing. It was bothersome. Here they were acting as if they wanted to have a bit of fun, but the second either one of their group rose to their feet those deer would be back in "Big Mean Character" Mode. It was impossible for them to break long enough to meet new company. God forbid anyone else be allowed in their deer's 'playing'.

It was there again. That itching in his skull. The soft silent buzz that drove him slightly mad. At length he spoke: "Do you think..." He said as he eyed the smaller fawn running circles around them. "That if I bite the head off that fawn I can go play with them?"

His head snapped to the side to glare at Atvana. He raised a questioning look and glared sideways to where the two deer were playing a game of air sit.

He sighed and laid his face in his hands looking morose.
"That's it isn't it? I'll never be able to get near their damn deer.
Pisses me off. They show up one day and suddenly everyone loves them.
I try to figure out what the big deal is and they chase, attack, or ignore me.
In the real world they'd be ostracized for such stupidity. "
