Limitations [Rhys/...?]

Rhys caught up with him some time after that. He sat down by him and the female companion he had gained. He recognized her from Kita. He never saw her before this point, but here she was sitting silently by him. It was a bit unsettling. Would his madness allow him to take up hand against her or was that not possible. He knew very little of how they worked. He was staring at that damn column again. Rhys was hoping he would have left it alone, but the fascination was there.
Rhys approached and eyed the two. It was a strange thing to see in the forest. They probably appeared as any other deer to the others, so it was of no consequence to him. The forest would turn on with most being blissfully ignorant to the outsiders in their midst.
"See you made a friend. You like making friends remember?"
He was painting the side of the broken column with a poppy and barely looked up when he spoke.

He gave a polite bow and sat down by them.
"Did you make any other friends?"
He looked up and gave Rhys an annoyed look before throwing the flower at him. It left a read mark on Rhys's mask and he recoiled.
"I don't make friends with animals. It's so fake. Everything is fake. Sometimes I hate this place. Sometimes I like...I don't...what was I saying?"
Rhys hesitated and looked away. It probably was not a good idea to rile him up like that.
"I..see. Well enjoy your company at least. "
The female did not say anything this time. They were probably conversing by other means. Sometimes he felt so limited in the forest.
It was good that he was having contact with beings again.
God forbid he be left to his own devices.
Slowly but surely, I'm
Madness is a state of altered perception from the norm, not always false. In fact, madness is sometimes being so enlightened with Truth and disillusioned from the common falsehoods of the population that this being is perceived as mad in being so different, as manifestations of Atvana and other omniscient beings are, to some.
I've a feeling he, as most mad, are a mix of the more disillusioned, and more enlightened.
