EDIT: It seems people need to be reminded of certain things. Think carefully before you complain. Is it really a problem? Do you really want drama started up when things seem to be peaceful again? Can we keep this place inviting when the real world isn't always?
Keep in mind the date I posted this. Not all of the points mentioned are relevant currently, but I will refrain from removing them since I still feel they are good points to remember.

I think more people need to understand this word.

People are pointing out that there is drama on this site. Well, last night I found myself thinking before I fell asleep. What drama are they talking about? The only drama I'm seeing is people saying there is drama and that they wish to leave because of it.

Why?

What drama?

Please explain to me what you're talking about.

Keeping in mind the word tolerance, it might not be anything bothersome at all. It only is if you allow it to be.

So the biggest things that seem to be complained about are the dragon eggs, deer updates, and roleplays.

Why?

What's the big deal?

Can't you just ignore them if you don't like them? Tolerate that they exist?

I'll admit the dragon eggs aren't part of the Forest, but other things that get discussed on here aren't either. We're only human, and we'll go off-subject. Everyone goes on a tangent now and then. There are always posts on here that have nothing to do with the Forest.

Nowhere does it say this place has to be only Forest-related blogs and pictures. That's why there's an "Other" category in the Pictures section.

I just had a revelation. The Pictures section has categories. You see all the pictures until you tell the site to only show "screenshots", or "fanart", or "concept art". Why not have the same for the Diaries? See everything until you tell the site you want to look at the deer journals, updates, biographies, etc. It doesn't mean more links to the side. It just means you have the option to look at everything at once, or some at a time.

And there's that tangent-going I mentioned before.

Anyway.

Deer updates. They're necessary. Since the map has been frozen due to the server switch, you can't see who's in the Forest. Sure, you could hop on to look around, but some people have slower computers, so seeing the map is useful, and if you're like me, it helps you decide which deer to send in if you're can't figure out who (if you have multiple deer that is). The influx of updating should go down when the map is fixed, so can't they be tolerated until then?

Now, about roleplays. They don't have to cause drama. I see them like stories, just with multiple writers. It's also a good way to figure out your characters' personalities, or to develop relationships between your characters and someone else's. The ones I've read (and I read a lot of them) tend to be fun. Sure, there's drama in some, but it fizzles out pretty quickly, and it's character-related. Not to be taken personally. That's something people should remember. Sometimes our characters take on a life of their own, and we can't control how they act. Drama will ensue. Don't blame the human for it.
Roleplay drama is a case-by-case thing, so do we really need to say "No more roleplaying on the community site"?

Getting back to what I was saying at the beginning...

What drama are you talking about? Saying there is drama and you're going to leave because of it causes more drama than you say there is.

Try finding the good that still exists here instead of stressing the negatives.

And for gods' sakes, can my friends stop getting into arguments with each other? I hate seeing my friends fighting with my friends. For lack of a better words, it hurts.

Hopefully, this made sense, but because I have trouble explaining myself, I know it won't be clear for everyone. If I've confused you about something, ask and I'll try to explain better. Just, please bear with me.
